This island of Honduras is a safe and beautiful place to visit. We had a guide that took us around the whole island to various shops and points of interest. Driving around is a bit intimidating since there didn't seem to be any stop signs or lights, or really any kind of road rules, but our driver was great and we made it without incident everywhere we went.

Beautiful island. There are a lot of shops to buy souvenirs. Smaller area to shop then I expected. If you wanted to see more of the island you needed to take a taxi to get there.

I'm sure that Honduras is an amazing place for diving and snorkeling, but having "ROATAN ISLAND TOUR AND BEACH" an organized $70, 4-hour tour by Royal Caribbean around the town is absolutely terrible, seeing poverty and garbage in every single corner. Absolutely, good for educational purposes and i give 5-star for it 4.5 star to local people, seems to be friendly, polite and happy. 1-star for the tour, not recommended at all.

Beautiful Island! secluded and quiet. calm waters with no waves, crystal clear water, not too crowded, great for snorkel and families. The only downside is that the food is not cheap compared to Mexico.

This was the VIP Beach Experience, an excursion my friend and I did from Carnival Cruise. It was fantastic!!

Nice port for cruising with a private free beach area! Snorting was excellent off the mesoamerican reef!

The silent truly has amazing beaches with Clearwater well known for Scuba diving and snorkeling. It boast Multi story condominiums on sides that overlook the ocean. What are plenty of activities enjoy including jungle Tours in dine buggies And a myriad of other activities

This small island of Hondouras is absolutely beautiful. The lush greenery and fresh and clean air with the blue Sea and clear skies makes everything so perfect. The port is adequate for docking big cruise ships as Odyssey of the seas.

I’m from California, have been to multiple states including Hawaii and it does not come anywhere near as beautiful as this place. Not only is the island is amazing , but no other place, person, and hotels can match the hospitality, service, and catering that restaurants and hotels provide, especially the Grand Roatan resort. The island sits in the Caribbean so expect the wonders of Caribbean weather; Thank you people of Roatan, Honduras for making this vacation into a dream.
