Everything with roatan ocean adventures was perfect. Booking was simple through email, we were picked up exactly where the company told us we would be. We had a driver that was so accommodating. The sloth/monkey encounter was great and informative. It was a short drive to the boat for snorkeling. The one mile snorkeling was amazing. The guide and boat captain were friendly and informative as well. It was a perfect day in Roatan that makes me want to visit the island more.

Preston and his crew gave my brother and I a scuba tour of a shipwreck and the amazing coral reef walls. The coral and fish on the dive were amazing and Preston also took wonderful photos of us. He knew how to operate my GoPro better than me and even took an amazing time lapse video with it across the shipwreck. Couldn’t imagine a better dive experience. They gave us free admittance to the animal sanctuary which was a great way to maximize our time on Roatan with monkeys, sloths and parrots. They accepted PayPal We got a round trip ride from our Virgin Voyages cruise and a stop for food on the way back. Wonderful hospitality and value.

We booked an excursion here while visiting on Royal Caribbean. This was the highlight of our trip. Our exclusive driver Ann was amazing and was by our side every step of the day. She was incredibly informative and helpful. Our Zipline guides July and his partner gave our group of 4 an amazing first time experience. They were friendly, entertaining, and extremely focused on our safety. We also played with monkeys and held a sloth. Our tour did not feel rushed and we had an amazing time learning about the animals. We finished with a visit to the Roatan Chocolate company and an iguana encounter. Fantastic from beginning to end!

We've used Roatan Ocean Adventures several times when we've had cruise stops in Roatan, and we will continue to use them. They are knowledgeable, friendly, professional, respectful of their environment, and trustworthy, and they have not failed in taking us on awesome adventures. They will show you some of the most beautiful snorkeling you'll ever see. We also did a kayaking excursion with them, which was so much fun. Don't hesitate in booking with Roatan Ocean Adventures!

My husband and I came to Roatan on a cruise ship. I booked the drift snorkel. It was easy to find the meeting location and the whole tour was top notch. Herbert was our personal guide and was very knowledgeable in the water. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely book with ROA again!

Roatan Relaxed Drift Snorkel, We were on a shore excursion for tha day. I don;t like booking excursions through the ships because of the large crowds. I much prefer a smaller, local company. ROA fit the bill exactly. These guys really know how to show a good time. We did the Sloth, Monkey, snorkel and beach break in Sept 2022. The owner, Herbert picked us up at the terminal and explained how our day would go. As well as a little about current events on the Island. First the trip to the sloth farm. That was special. Huggable little guys. Then on to the dock where his team of snorkel guides took us to the most amazing spot about 10 mins away. We have snorkeled Roatan before and this spot is the best. It was low season, so the tour was just me and my husband. We each basically had our own guide, Norman and Garrick. They are fun and very knowledgeable. Norman had me giggling the whole time and thire wasn't a fish he didn;t know how to identify. In addition to all the beautiful coral and fish, we saw a shipwreck. The water was so clear that day, Norman challenged Garrick to free dive it (no tank) to the ship and he did. 48’! Next we were given a choice of either a restaurant with swimming pool or a beach break. We chose the restaurant. Herbert took us to a nice, secluded place with the freshest fish tacos I have ever had. We sat togehter and just chatted about the island and what we saw that day. After eating, we took a quick dive in the freshwater pool. The trip was very much worth the cost. Herbert stayed with us the entire and we felt very safe. I would highly recommend this trip.

Me, my wife, and our good friend came in on a cruise ship and wanted a simple snorkeling trip, as we were very inexperienced. We basically ended up with a private experience as we were the only folks booked that day. ROA is a family operated outfit and everyone was just lovely. You can tell they're passionate about what they do and making sure their patrons are taken care of. It was almost like my long lost uncle and cousins took me out on the boat. Definitely worth the (not all that expensive) price!

Had an amazing time diving the wall and wrecks in Roatan. First time back since I've been certified but did my first discover scuba here. Roatan Ocean Adventures was amazing. I was lucky enough to be the only one booked the day our cruise was in port for a 2 tank dive and my guide and boat captain were amazing. Had time to go next door and play with the monkey's and sloths during my surface intervale.

We absolutely LOVED our experience with ROA! Herbert was incredibly accommodating when we made our reservations, and offered to do a bit of a mix and match of their listed tours, which worked out great for our group. We did the sloths/monkeys, as well as 3 snorkeling stops. Our drivers, Rex and Kisha, were fantastic, we loved getting to know them and seeing the island. When a boat got slightly delayed, they took us on an extended tour of part of the island so we wouldn't just be waiting, and that wound up being one of the highlights of our trip! Garrick was our snorkeling guide, and he did an awesome job! The snorkeling truly was spectacular, in particular the spots with the drop offs. I am very experienced in diving and snorkeling, and these were easily some of the most beautiful dive sites I have seen. In addition to all the colorful reef fish, we saw grouper, lobster, cuttlefish, and a spotted eagle ray. Garrick also showed us a coral restoration project he started, which was super cool and unique. He did a great job of working with our group with snorkelers of different experience levels. I don't remember all of their names, but every member of the staff we interacted with was awesome. Very friendly and down to earth people, and a well run operation. Some of our group were initially hesitant about not booking through the cruise line, but our day in Roatan with ROA wound up being the number one highlight of the cruise for everyone in our group. I can't recommend them enough, and can't wait to be back.

What an amazing experience. Herbito (Herbert) took me and my son snorkling while my wife and daughter spend some time on the small islands with a beautiful beach. It was an amazing adventure. Herbert (and his collegues) will make time for you and has many interesting packages to offer. The snorkling was amazing and it was one of the best experiences ever! He knows the best locations to snorkle safely around the Coral! Thank you Herbito and Co for making it an amazing holiday! Tom & Jack from Belgium

If you have any doubts, don't worry. I have been with Herbert and his crew 3 times now and every time was excellent. Very safe, and treat you like family. They will allow you to snorkel to your level, not treat you like a liability. Awesome cruise excursions for a fraction of the ship prices. Go with the locals every time you can.
