If you want a customizable tour, Real Deal Roatan Tours is for you! We had quite a few things on our list and checked each one. Firstly, Johan sent a map with clear directions how to get through and exit the port. There are many guides and cab drivers waiting outside the gate, trying to usher you to their vehicle, but I simply held up my paperwork with the Real Deal logo and they pointed us in the right direction. Everyone knows Real Deal! Joel was our guide. He was fun, friendly and informative. A very careful driver and let me sit in the front seat to get full benefit of his excellent air conditioner! He took us to all of our requested locations and added some great photo op stops. He accompanied us, and stayed with us taking pictures. Very helpful! We highly recommend their business!

The day on the Real Deal Roatan excursion was the best day of our cruise! For just a little more that a cruise ship booked tour Real Deal gave us a private tour of this wonderful island. The excursion was just my husband, my son, myself and driver/tour guide, Joel. Joel was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting things about the island he clearly loves. He skillfully worked around traffic and crowds so that we got the tour we wanted without the crowds. Not a easy thing to do with 4 cruise ships in town. Booking the tour via email was very easy. I told Johan exactly what we wanted to see and he arranged the perfect private tour for us. They were very aware of the cruise ship departure time, and made sure we got back in time so we didn't feel rushed to get back to the ship, but still provided a full day tour. I would definitely recommend Real Deal Roatan Tours and suggest you ask for Joel to be your guide.

We had a fantastic time with Joel as are tour guide. We booked the island tour and he drove us around. He stopped so we could see the chocolate factory, we saw a show, and took us to eat some local food. We also were taken to a wonderful ladies small shop who had local crafts.
He was wonderful in assisting my elderly grandmother get around. It was like we went on a tour with a friend. If you would like a private tour, I would highly recommend Real Deals Roatan. You get a personalized tour, and communication is very quick.
Thank you Joel for showing us the beauty of Roatan.

I would definitely recommend this tour company in Roatan. My husband got in contact with the company to ask question and clarify any issues. Their response was immediate and professional. We were given clear directions on how to connect with them once we got off the ship. It was an easy walk and we found our tour guide Emerson right away. Emerson is a gem. He was polite, efficient, informative, accommodating and proficient in English. He took us to a little market area, the chocolate and rum factories and even made an unprogrammed stop for us because my husband wanted to try a local food and at a little shack by the road he had seen on Youtube. We then proceeded to Infinity Bay. Beautiful beaches and Emerson took care of everything and all transitions. He gave us a history of the island, the importance of tourism and a bit about his family. I would highly recommend going this route. It was the best excursion we did on this cruise.

Our guides name was Robin, he was nice and informative. He took us to a place for lunch, it was delicious. The roatan Chocolate factory was nice and great prices. The snorkel place we went to which I forgot the name of was the best snorkel I've ever done. Our guide gave us a nice tour of the city as well as history of the island.

Yesterday (4/26/22) we took an excursion with Real Deal Tours. We did the all-inclusive at Infinity Bay Reaort. Our guide was Stanley and he took excellent care of us. We stopped at the overview first and took pictures with our ship in the background. Stanley was very knowledgeable and eagerly shared all about Roatán.
Next, it was on to Infinity Bay. Stanley got us checked in quickly and took us straight to the beach. Stanley made sure we had chairs set up under the palm trees with a nice view to the beach and gorgeous water.
After a few hours, he returned to make sure we had our included lunch. We were lucky to talk him into eating with us. We had a great time getting to know him and his home, Roatán.
Once we finished lunch, we were off to the ship. We hit a lot of traffic because of a breakdown and we’re pushing our back-on-board time. Stanley stayed cool and assured us we were fine. He was right. The traffic made lots of other cruisers nearly late too, so we weren’t the only ones speed walking to the gangway.
Overall, we were very happy with Real Deal Tours. We hope we will get to visit Roatán again. It is a beautiful island and not at all overly commercialized. Thank you Stanley, Johan, and Real Deal Tours for our day in paradise.

What a fantastic experience. From timely email correspondence to clear directions and everything being just as explained, this was a fantastic experience. We surprisingly had our own guide (just my spouse and I) and weren't lumped in with other cruisers. Our guide Joel was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We got to see the island like never before. I would highly recommend their services to anyone - especially a family traveling together... What a great way to experience Roatan! Thanks Real Deal, well definitely see you next time our travels take us to Roatan!!

We had a family of 5. Adrian was the best. Wonderful personality he crafted our tour to what our intrests were. Oscar and his son on the snorkeling experience was great. He accommodated my mother who is 85 and a non swimmer. He brought my mom around and showed her the reef literally pulling her around. Adrian was so kind and showed us the real Roatan. Felt like we were driving around with family. I would recommend Real Deal Tours to anyone visiting Roatan. Be sure to ask for Adrian you will not be sorry.

The tour was a great memory and well worth the price. We did an island tour with snorkeling and the sloth monkey parrot visit and chocolate and rumcake factories. My favorite was snorkeling. It was excellent with beautiful fish. Some were irridescent. The boat captain drove me about a mile offshore and we jumped in the water with our snorkel gear and fins. He then proceeded to lead me around showing me all the different types of fish and coral. We swam for about an hour and it was a good workout. The monkeys were fun and the sloths were cute. Parrots were beautiful. The chocolate factory was neat to see however I like Hershey's better. We also enjoyed our guide who was nice and informative. Now to the negative side of things. My wife and I were on a NCL ship. We were not told beforehand that we were grouped with another couple of guys getting off a RC ship. The two guys were 45min late. We then got in a prius with 3 - 200+ guys in back and my wife and our guide in front. We were packed in there and we had to climb a hill that had a 45 slope. I thought we were gonna have to push. I highly recommend this tour you will not be disappointed.

Just went on the Monkey, Sloth, Parrot tour in Roatan with Brayan and it was fantastic! Brayan was very informative and made sure we were all taken care of at each stop. I loved visiting the monkeys and most of all the Sloths. They are the sweetest creatures, but make sure you go on the early tour because they do not let you hold them in the afternoon when they are napping. Brayan and our driver did a great job of showing us the sights and we can't wait to go back!

Ask for Adrian, he was excellent - friendly, informative, and customer service focused. We did the Monkey/Sloth and Little French Key excursion on 12/1/2021 while there on a cruise. Excellent choice. Held a sloth and parakeet, and interacted with monkeys. Little French Key was gorgeous. Two free drinks each and lunch, which was delicious chicken and shrimp, and kayaked. Beautiful key with great beaches, chairs, tables, ropes, hammocks, etc

Johan was an amazing host, tour guide and person. He’s well connected and may well know everyone on the island!
It’s called Real Deal ‘cause it’s not a cookie cutter tour…you do see a couple familiar tourist sites but Johan wants you to see / experience the true Roatan…
Don’t miss the trip to the Sandy Bay Lighthouse Ministries Children’s Home…such a heart-warming and encouraging ministry that is truly serving the children of Roatan.
Best tour on the island…don’t miss it!
