On Royal Caribbean cruise we had the chance to "Snooba". It's a wonderful way for out of shape people like me can get a scuba experience. BOSS was the company and did a great tutorial and we have great underwater pictures from ex-military scuba expert for $60. Was well worth the couple of hundred dollars spent.

If I never visit the port of Roatan ever again, I will be completely happy. The port is extremely small, very limited, eating selections, and a minimal amount of shopping. Each of the excursions were well away from the port. I am simply not a fan of this destination.

Roatán is an island in the Caribbean, about 65 kilometres (40 mi) off the northern coast of Honduras.
From zip-lining to deep-sea fishing to exploring the military-protected archipelago of Cayos Cochinos, the Honduran island is a playground for lovers of water.
There's nothing much at the port as it's still in developing phase.

I was a little disappointed in this port with it's shops. There really wasn't a whole lot of variety. It was very humid even at 10am so realize that when you go and choose to go early if you do

This was our first time going to the Roatan port on Liberty of the Seas. It was clean and colorful! The band playing was awesome! Directions to the excursions were displayed and easily to get to.

The 1st stand with the coffee was excellent. Coffee selection had a nice variety. The lady making the coffee was friendly; coffee delicious & was nice to listen to the music & relax. A fairly nice duty free shop; a nice place to sit & enjoy some wings, hamburger & beers or other beverages & a small variety of shops.

Cool port, lots of shinny happy people. Missed my excursion as I got confused on ship time vs. Roaton time. Lots of tings to see and purchase.

If you’re looking to just get off the ship and walk around, you’ll be disappointed. There is virtually no little town to walk through except for a few bars and t-shirt shops.
Just behind the port is a transportation center where you’ll find a number of pepper offering to take you on a tour.
Animal tours and parks are big here. Especially sloths and monkeys.
There’s a sign on the pier that’s Honduras where you take can a take a nice photo to remember you were here.

Friendly staff and great service. Definitely recommend stopping here for a bite to eat. Especially the conch fritters. The hamburger and fish burgers were also delicious. This place just opened when we stopped for lunch. A definite must on your trip to Roatan. We'll be back for sure.
