We had a fabulous dinner experience last night at Luna Beach. Our waiter (Arod) recommended we start with a Luna Sunset, their special house drink. It was sweet, sour, and very tasty and went down too quickly. We had a front-row seat to a fantastic sunset and a cold, delicious drink which made for a very relaxing experience before dinner. Luna does specials every night of the week. Last night was pasta night. They offered two dishes made with homemade pasta along with their regular menu. I chose one of them, and my wife selected the other. Both were spectacular. So, of course, we had to have dessert, and they didn’t disappoint us in that category either. This place makes everything in-house, the food is fantastic, and the staff is outgoing, friendly, and knowledgeable. They worked hard to ensure we had a great experience. Don’t miss this place.

This is an amazing place. Great people and great food. The chef really takes an extra effort in making it their own! Great vibe and the views are amazing.

Stopped by while on a Viking cruise. Went horse back riding, swimming and had a few drinks. Everything was Awesome. 👍👍

We did an excursion from Royal Caribbean. The horse guide was fantastic but the description of the excursion left us lacking. We took a trail ride with pony horses. Which was fantastic but We barely had 2 minutes on the beach with the horses. At first we were told to enjoy the resort but was kicked off immediately after horseback riding and told we needed to pay per person to be there. We got a small stretch of beach where we were constantly hassled by beach vendors. One even grabbed my daughter to give her a “massage” and demanded I pay her $20. It cost $30 for 5 pictures but several of the pictures I would have liked were blurry or dark.

I didn't stay at the hotel. I visited this place as part of an excursion on Carnival Cruises. The food was great. The wait staff got a little backed up when there were all of a sudden 50 people to serve at once. The lady who helped me seemed to be running the place . She did a pretty good job getting the food out to us. Definitely would eat here again if I ever happened to travel to Rotan again . 😊

This place is fantastic! Stayed a week and can't recommend enough. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner. All were excellent. Service was on point the whole week. If your in lucky enough to be in Roatan stop by Luna Beach you won't be disappointed.

Came here for lunch while visiting Roatan. The owner was walking around and greeting the tables and he was very friendly and was able to recommend some dishes to us. The place is gorgeous, private beach, a really nice pool, coffee shop, restaurant, a store and you can go horseback riding on the beach. I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in Roatan.

We ate Sushi here last night for my husband’s birthday. The drive from West Bay Road down to Luna beach was paved, windy, with simply gorgeous jungle views! It was also well marked so we knew exactly where to go/park. When we walked into the outdoor bar/restaurant, the setting sun over the clear water took our breath away! Our server was excellent and the sushi was good. It was also not overpriced AND they even brought out a complimentary appetizer (see picture). We will be back!

I gave it 5 stars on rooms - as we heard they were nice! We just did a day trip here. We came from a Royal cruise and this was part of our ATV tour. The coffee shop was great - made fresh Mocha iced lattes - $5 and just as good as Starbucks. Refreshing. The bathrooms were clean and spacious to change in. The bar and food was hot and yummy. we had chicken quesadillas and a pork sandwich with fries -all yummy and fresh. The waitress was so nice and separated our checks for us. She made our drinks also and delivered them to the beach - which was very nice and refreshing water - boats coming and going and wave runners passing by. They also have horse riding the beach - so be careful those are not nut shells in the water - yep horse poop - so avoid it in the water - its only there for a few minutes and it floats away! LOL - I am not kidding! The vendors walking the beach are not going to stop asking - so buy don't buy - just be polite this is their living! Cute stuff and pretty enough! We had a great time! Such a pretty place to stop for a few hours and relax!

Food was a bit slow, but delicious. Super quiet and beautiful beach. Warm and shallow so great for wading and swimming. The horseback riding was a fantastic experience I would recommend for everyone.

We took a cruise excursion to Luna Beach to ride horses up through the jungle and into the ocean. Our guide was amazing keeping us engaged about the islands history and culture while also asking about us. After the ride we got to kick back and relax on a very nice quiet private beach. Water and view was great. All the people are the restaurant were great. They had a guy grab a fresh coconut from a nearby tree and prepare it to drink and eat.

We visited this resort after our ATV ride during the excursion from the cruise ship. Both were very enjoyable and the beach was very relaxing. The food was also very well made.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Luna Beach. I live close. The resort is lovely, GREAT service, beautiful grounds. The restaurant and coffee shop are both top notch. They have an amazing chef and lovely and varied menu. The dive shop is also above par with a great team. Luna Beach is really a spectacular experience.

Great spot to enjoy delicious food, drinks, and an amazing view. The pool and ambiance are very inviting. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re on the island!

So reviews are more appreciated from locals than cruising tourists. The signs located around the bar and restaurant falsely offer a free drink for giving a review, but it is a blatant lie. Only people living on the island can receive a free drink...everyone else they just want your money. When approached about changing their signage, (even just adding free drink with purchase) was met with complacence. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

Fine dining and stunning sun set Just a 5 minute beach stroll South from the buzz of West End Road you'll find serene Luna Beach restaurant and resort. Welcoming and courteous staff members had set our table festively sprinkled with fresh flowers and with perfect ocean view in anticipation of the forthcoming sunset. Bartender Lovely served us tasty sundowners while the Chef started preparing our BBQ dinner. Still mesmerized by the spectacular sunset, dinner was served. The tender chicken and fall off the bone pork ribs were sublime, accompanied by sides of crispy coleslaw and smooth mashed potatoes to complete this culinary feast.

Best Happy hour drinks. Bartender Lovely Knows how to mix those drinks! Fish and chips and spicy chicken sandwich, Were delicious. Don't miss this hidden treasure.

I've been here multiple times, service is always amazing. Apps are amazing, atmosphere equally amazing. They're going to the be the spot to be when they complete the villas. Burgers/wings were amazing when I came during Christmas. On my honeymoon now taking my wife for the first time and so excited for her to try the food.

Great food. Fine dining experience at a reasonable price and a great view. We went on BBQ night and it was a treat! The options were ribs, chicken or duck or you could choose 2. The mixed drinks were good. Strongly encourage the beef carpaccio and the tuna tartar. I would order the mussels over and over again.

My Wife and got to visit here on our excursion to do horseback riding with the cruise. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the rooms. The hurricane and just past through so the staff was busy trying to clean all the debris that had been stirred up. This resort is a place I will be visiting again! Rich and Jodi, the owners, were very hospitable and very nice people. The resort is had been closed for 7 years until they bought it and it is now being renovated. The horseback riding was fun, not 100% what I expected but I understand they have to have a ride that all experience levels can enjoy. My hourse was Luna and she was the smoothest ride. But they will match you to your horse. And the best part of the horseback riding, all the horses are rescues! The restaurant staff is very welcoming and friendly. They have a chicken sandwich that is just, (chef finger kiss). Most juicy, flavorful and perfectly seasoned and homemade onion rings! Over all this would be a PERFECT wedding venue

Came here with Aaron and Angie and the meals here were absolutely delicious!!! The flavors were bursting in our mouths! Seriously an amazing place to come and eat. The drinks were delicious as well. I had the chicken salad and shrimp salad and shrimp tacos. Oh my goodness this place is a must try. I recommend 10/10 for the high quality food. The ambience was super chill and relaxed. An experience you want to have!

We spent a week in our cozy beach cottage. The service was excellent and the sunsets were gorgeous. All of our meals were eaten on site due to the delicious food and friendly staff. The coffee bar had all the usual choices and served breakfast (omelettes, pancakes, homemade toast, etc.). For a light lunch, we enjoyed fruit smoothies. Dinner near the water always started with a surprise appetizer from the chef. Marti's dive shop had the boat pick us up each day at Luna Beach's dock, which made scuba diving convenient. We will definitely be back!
