Compassion
It
was
in
1945,
that
an
Hindu
lady
brought
a
statue
of
the
Blessed
Virgin
Mary
from
Vellanganni
and
placed
it
here.
All
most
all
the
family
members
of
the
mine
workers,
used
to
pray
to
the
mother
from
the
bottom
of
their
heart
,
seeking
blessing
for
the
safe
return
of
the
miners
who
used
to
go
underground
while
working
in
the
mines.
The
mother
was
benevolent
to
the
prayers
of
the
family
members
and
ensured
safe
passage
back
from
the
mines....those
days.
Several
miracles
have
supposed
to
have
happened
.
The
place
is
full
of
positive
vibes
,
spending
some
quality
time
in
such
environs
of
the
church,
will
be
really
beneficial
to
the
mind
and
give
ample
amount
of
peace........
It's

near
to
