What a waste of money. Within the local area there's poverty, housing problems, social troubles. Was it so high up in the council priority list?. Traffic disruption is bedlam. Is this a distraction from local child abuse scandals?. Oh don't mention that!!.

Has to be one of the most beautiful town halls ever created. Built in the Victorian era in a Gothic style and now grade 1 listed which I think has limited repairs alas the grand hall is amazingly well presented. At weekends the place is really quite and perfect for a wedding.

Rochdale Town Hall is a Victorian-era municipal building in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, England. It is "widely recognised as being one of the finest municipal buildings in the country", and is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building.

A truly beautiful and majestic place with lot of historical value. 3 hours free parking next to town hall. Beautiful from outside and some great paintings on walls and windows inside. Really good venue for events or just to walk around and soak up atmosphere. This building was built in the 19th century. Well worth the visit.

A grade one listed building designed by William Crossland to symbolise the town’s rich industrial standing in the textile trade. Its ornate stylings are rivalled only by the Palace of Westminster.

Love this place....after many years of delcine to this historic town and with the groming gangs have detroyed this reputation. Finally the government are heavily investing into the area. So many natural beauty, hikes to see. The local food is really good to if your eating halal. Many mosques too and people are always friendly. The water is possibly the best in UK with so many natrual resivoirs in area. Peolple need to visit this town and explore its wildrenes.

A building of character! I've had a full tour of the Rochdale Town Hall where I saw more than just the great hall. There are lots of exiting developments taking place to make as much of the building open to the public in a number of different ways.
