Fantastic local park, secure play area for the kids, full sized football field, as well as a five-a-side goal posts for kids. Wild flower areas, tarmaced path all the way around (1/3 mile), popular with joggers, dog walkers, and people just wanting some fresh air. Numerous seats and picnic tables too. Friends group do an excellent job looking after the interests of the park and hold an annual gala which returns this year (2022) after a couple of years due to the pandemic

Beautiful little park, has a small set of picnic benches and also a small play area for children. We come to walk our dog and the park is always full of other friendly dog walkers and is clean and tidy.

Had a fantastic day as it was Ossett's fun day with live entertainment, classic cars & motor bikes, and lots of stalls to browse, the park is dog friendly, well maintained and a pleasure to stroll around.

This was a lovely event especially for children. There was stalls, charity stalls and entertainment. Rides and side stalls. There was an excellent police display with their off-roader bikes on display. Plus teas, coffees and home-made cakes. An event well thought out and everyone was enjoying themselves.

Lovely little park with a great play area for mixed aged children. Nice flat walk. Only a little park and area but well worth visiting.

A tranquil spot for all ages , brilliant childrens play area and picnic benches. For those more sporty there is a full size football pitch & 5 a side single goal pitch as well. The Illingworth Park friends group work hard to keep this park in good order. Also a yearly Gala .

Small park but very good play equipment in a gated enclosed area. There was lots to keep a toddler entertained. Outside of the play area it's really just a common green area with a path so good for dog walking or runners wanting paved area.
