Ring O’ Bells @ Stretton, not Daresbury. I had a lovely meal on Friday evening 12/8/22, the ribeye steak was delicious. The new owners are Richard and Claudia with Angela as the waitress are serving great real food; such as the Chips are not reshaped mashed potatoes as in all the other local pubs. There is a massive selection of exotic meats if you would like to try something different. It is a small very friendly Pub and dogs are allowed. It is easily missed; it is only ¼ mile from the M56/A49 roundabout and it has a large carpark to the rear.

Absolutely superb. The day after the owners moved in. Food, prices, service, Angela, drinks all excellent. Needs a lick of paint though.

This place was dope AF. I'm from the states and i was visiting my friends and they brought me here to try the exotic game. I must say that my expectations were blown away from what i thought it would be like. Just wow! The meat was super succulent and made me feel good in my knickers. Will definitely come back here!!!

I've driven past this place for years and never been in, but what a little gem....and the food is proper pub grub, we all had pie of the day, chips, mushy peas and World class gravy. We asked for more gravy and 2 more hot piping pots of brown nectar appeared. Definitely going back, the tapas menu tempted me for Saturdays and I will also try the Sunday Roast - 10/10

We’ve lived locally to the Ring O’ Bells for 15 years and have never been so excited to go in as we are now! The food is amazing and great value for money, staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is really relaxed and friendly. Specials and the main menu are both great and we’ll definitely be going back as well as recommending it to anyone who asks!

What started as a lovely afternoon turned into one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had I visited with my family and our brand new 3 week old nephew as we were staying nearby My sister had to change the baby on the bathroom floor because there was no changing facilities - we didn't complain but just accepted it was an old pub and got on with it However, when it come to disposing of the nappy we sealed it securely in a nappy bag, but as there were no nappy disposal bin we had no choice but to put it in the normal wastebin in the ladies toilets. A man then proceeded to follow me, alone, into the ladies toilets and thrust the bin in my hand telling me it was "really not his job" to empty the bin and forced me to walk through the pub of customers to empty the bin in the large bins in the pub car park, which also had others customers waste in. I had seen the man drinking alcohol earlier but had said he was "not on duty" when I was being served, so I felt I had no choice but to follow his demands. I was alone in a small bathroom it was quite intimidating and I was made to feel very embarrassed. My brother in law spoke to the man afterwards who said that his cleaner would refuse to empty it - and said it was ‘the principle’ of the matter, even days later we are struggling to understand the principle being referred to. The experience was horrendous and felt very discriminatory. This was our first trip as a family my sister has only just given birth to her first child, she was so upset and embarrased but had absolutely no reason to be. With immediate affect I'd recommend this pub 1. Invests in changing facilties and a nappy disposal bin or if unwilling to, ensure that you tell customers that you are not family friendly. 2. Put up a sign to say that parents can’t dispose of nappies on your premises. Under no circumstances should a man follow a lone woman into the ladies toilet to confront her and hand her the bin. 3. Potentially look for a new cleaner

The food was amazing. Good choice of exotic food. You cook it yourself. Easy to do and very educational. Waiters help if you don't know how to do it which makes the place very welcoming.

We booked a table for a group of 8 people. 4 adults and 4 teenagers. Both the service and the food were second to none. We all left with full bellies. I would definitely eat here again and would recommend to anyone who is in the area to give it a go. Well done, keep up the good work.

Friendly and welcoming. The food is homemade and delicious especially the seafood chowder which two of our party of four had. A gem of a place handily just off the M56

Wow Fantastic. My wife and I had a meal here last week for the first time. We both had the fillet steak and it was great. Great waitress too. Highly recommend.

Stopped off after driving past and so glad we did. Was a lovely quaint place with the friendliest and attentive staff and the food was stunning. Definitely couldnt fault the bill either for the quality of the meat alone. Definitely going back

Great place, great atmosphere, service was great and the food to die for.... Had the South Africa hot plate. However can't beat a piece of British Beef (which was also included with the choice of exotic meats)! Highly recommended. A pity that it is not closer to home....

We came as a party of 22 for a Christmas meal. We pre ordered our food. And when we got here we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion were huge. The pub decor was so Christmassy and cosy and Angela, the bar lady was super friendly and helpful. Claudia and Richard, the owners were so welcoming . I would highly recommend for home cooked food and a friend atmosphere. Also busy with regular drinkers. We will be back for sure . Thanks for a brilliant night . Xx
