😠 After four hours waiting there let me go home with nothing. They didn't do any and the nurse said they can't do any just I have to go home sounds like they mocking me and said Good beauty . I said I am complaining, and they said do I want the complain number ?! Sounds like they know NHS complain... After four hours waiting there let me go home with nothing. They didn't do any and the nurse said they can't do any just I have to go home sounds like they mocking me and said Good beauty . I said I am complaining, and they said do I want the complain number ?! Sounds like they know NHS complain manager is one of them and they don't worry about complain . Exactly as soon as cam back home I called 111 and they made an appointment in UCC Royal Stoke Hospital and doctor was shocked and said how they didn't give me antibiotics, she said I had terrible body infection . These is third time they did nothing for me and let me go home with mocking me I wish I put my phone on camera for evidence. I am going to send my experience to the parliament Local MP . Before me a lady with her child was the same , she said after 2 hours waiting they let her go with nothing to do for her and she said absolutely is disgusting and boring. Please do not waste your time and do not go to Haywood hospital. There is no doctor in there and the nurses never do any for you .it just wasting people time.

Not impressed with the standard of care, attention or listening when I visited here with my daughter tonight. We expected to see a doctor. We saw 2 nurses - 1 of whom took notes whilst the other checked her BP and temperature. Apparently there wasn't a doctor? Felt my daughter's symptoms were not actually being heard. She had yellow watery fluid leaking from 1 nostril and had headaches for 3 days. She'd not had a cold previously. Immediately though their diagnosis was 'sinusitis'... except her symptoms are not anything like sinusitis. Then the note taking nurse was interrupted midway whilst my daughter was talking to her (some other nurse literally burst into the consultation room) and then she just left the room. It was so rude. Then she returned, no apology and carried on typing into the computer. Had my daughter had the chance to explain that she's about to have an MRI scan of her upper spine (neck area) that may have had some bearing on the diagnosis but she didn't get the chance. We thought the actual issue was brain fluid leaking. My daughter's nose and throat weren't even checked. We felt so rushed and that we were inconveniencing them the whole 5 (if that) minutes we were in there. Oh...if we still "weren't happy" the note taking nurse said we could "mither A and E". Mither?!?!!! Wouldn't use this walk in ever again. I thought the whole point of visiting a walk in centre was to see a doctor? And even if it was sinusitis the nurses wouldn't be able to prescribe any medication. Ended up at the Tesco pharmacy asking for advice. Certainly got more attention and care there...

18:37pm I attempt to attend for my 4 year old child. I was turned away advising to go A & E without any question of what the issue is. A&E were not surprised and said it's common. So when we/ you ask why A&E is so congested the blame is partly at Heywoods door

I had reason to go there today, and had never been there before. Very friendly, triage within minutes of my arrival, and my issue sorted very quickly! As always with the NHS, these angels are there for us day in and day out. The deserve every penny they earn PLUS MORE. Thanks to all of you!

Always had admiration for NHS , but heywood walk in centre WOW. From booking in you are treated with contempt, as if you should not be there. Questions, have you been to see a pharmacist ( yes ) well probably nothing we can do for you ! Hearing loss for around 10 weeks. You may need to see your GP , if I could get an appointment I would, that's why I'm here ( sorry to bother you) heywood walk in centre. Staff here awful ( my opinion).

Lazy staff. No check and balance for waiting time and check-up time intervals. People waiting for 5-6 hours and staff sitting in groups doing chit chat and you can not even say a word. They will call you for check-up after many hours wait and check-up result will be go to hospital A and E. Waste of time and resources. Not all but some NHS centres like this are burden on this country. More and more people joining private healthcare due to such practices and waste of tax payers money.

Had to go the walk-in today with my 11 month old daughter with an ear infection as I couldn’t get in with my doctors. I had a 4 hour wait (which I did think was a bit long to make a baby wait) however that was my only qualm. The two security guards on at the time probably didn’t know at the time but made the wait less unbearable. They spoke to me and my baby and seemed genuinely happy when our name was called to be seen and my daughter got sorted.

Waiting again to to see the same nurse! But had to que another half hour! Left hand right hand comes to mind, no wonder the system is on its backside

Arrived at 10am, was triaged, x-rayed and seen within 1 hour 20 minutes. Lindsey on X ray and Joanne who splinted my finger were both super lovely and helpful. The staff in the NHS are working so hard under difficult circumstances and they deserve to be recognised for this.

Waited for 5 hours, nobody seems to be here! The system really is on its arse.. but imo a few little things can be put in place to improve things. If your coming with children (thankfully I wasn’t) forget it, they’ll be bored to death.. once you do see a nurse though they’re great!

After ringing 111 at 9 am in the morning I was made a appointment at the Haywood for 4 pm after being seen by a nurse he dionosed my with acute sciatica was told that he could no give me a percriction for any pain killers I can't see the point of a walk in centre if the nurses can't percribe medication

Brilliant treatment. I was welcomed by volunteer who helped me sign in because of the injury to my hand. All the staff were fantastic. The nurses bandaged me up and I was sorted and out of the hospital within 45 minutes.

Visited with my Mum because she’d had a fall. I wish we had one of these places where I live. The set up is spot on with the two essential departments right next to each other. The clerical and medical staff were all fantastic. Don’t believe all the negativity about the NHS.

10/1/24 I attended the walking with my mother in law after a fall. I want to compliment highly all the staff from the security/reception and medical staff for making the visit so smooth and seemless. The treatment, respect and support was impeccable. Thankyou so much.

I attended Sat 25th Sep after being told to by my GPs because all their nurses were tied up with flu clinics for several days. I needed a wound checking after it had opened up following stitches being taken out. I was expecting to queue and I felt uncomfortable going for something my GP shouldve dealt with the day before. I was booked in quickly and unlike at the GPs the receptionist was polite and friendly. She also told me how long I'd likely be waiting which was helpful. As luck would have it I was seen quickly and by a lovely nurse who couldn't have been more helpful or kind. Wound all sorted and comfy. I was out in under an hour and was super impressed. If only my GPs were as friendly and helpful. Well done the Haywood!

Visited the centre this evening. It was very busy. Despite that, I was triaged correctly and seen within 3 hours. They also checked that my tetanus was still covered. Brisk and efficient

Arrived at the walk in centre at 07.50 this morning. Was assessed, x-rated and seen by a nurse before 09.00. An appointment was made for me with the fracture clinic the following afternoon. I can’t fault the efficiency, helpfulness and friendliness of all of the staff.

Terrible arrived at 10 this morning supposedly one and half hour wait waited till 1400 no guarantee of being seen any time soon so left without seeing the doctor. No one who hasn't yet seen triage asked to leave. Enough staff or doctors I suspect not. Rarely ask anything of NHS or trouble Royal Stoke or walk in very frustrating and disappointed. Will have to hope for timely appointment with GP in morning

Brought my 6 year old girl to receive treatment today and the help and assistance was first class. Very friendly receptionist and two lovely nurses that made her feel safe and got her fixed in no time. Feel very fortunate to have such professional and caring health experts on our doorstep.

Took my 2 year old daughter here and couldn't fault it, it was clean, staff insisted on you wear one of their masks instead of your own and to constantly use the hand gel stations which there were plenty of, they were also quite strict on the social distancing. Only downside was they don't xray under 5s which meant a trip to the A&E which is a total contrast to here

5 stars does not even start to reflect the patient experience I've experienced today. Walking in with a head injury & later walking out all patched up, topped up with outstanding recuperation advice. Bravo Haywood Walk in Centrre... Please take a bow. Regards, Iain Shenton

I can not fault the care and attention I was given at the walk in centre.Yes I had to wait a while to see some one but the care I was given was second to none.I had seven stiches for a gash in my leg the gentlemen nurse who did them was lovely. I was treated with care and respect what a fantastic team.

Great service thank you. Polite, helpful, friendly staff. It was busy and yes you do have to wait but the staff deserve credit for their hard work. Thank you to the walk in staff and the x ray department.

The RECEPTIONIST is soooooo rude shouldn't be in that kind of job I asked a generally question about waiting time I was very polite and her attitude towards me was disgusting I was asking because I was sat there with me 16 month old baby who had already been sat there 1 hour n half and the response I got was 3 hours and I'm not clinically trained but how she spoke to me was horrible she needs to get another job personally as she can't cope with how busy it is or just have some respect for people anyone would of thought I had asked a million times it was a general question

2 Jan ‘24: unable to get GP appointment, advised to go to Haywood Walk-In Centre. Arrived 16:00hrs, Triage done within 20 minutes 👍🏼 19:25hrs. Still waiting to see a Doctor (as are lots of other people) Quite clearly there are insufficient number of Doctors here 👎 Update: I was seen by a Senior Nurse (Yasmin) at 19:45hrs after 3hrs 45minutes waiting. She was fabulous, very thorough examination & explanation of my medical condition. There needs to be more people like Yasmin at this venue (NHS Managers please note). …… So my revised scoring is one star for the wait & five stars for the medical diagnosis & explanations. Thank you. …..

Attended after accident was seen initially in 15 minutes and then seen by senior nurse named Gail she was very professional and put me at ease. She also gave me excellent care and adv,ice I had a very different view of the NHS before this visit. All the Staff were very polite and smiling I can not recommend this facility enough if you have a injury or illness that you are able to walk in. I was in and out and treated within a hour and 15 minutes.Well done to all the staff I saw at the Haywood. Paul
