Ippon karate walkden is brilliant. Jason is a great trainer, my boys love going every week and have been going now for over a year! Best decision made!

Family friendly club, fantastic atmosphere, good rates. Being a member with my son for few years. We enjoy every minute of it.

My daughter attends the Walkden session on a Monday night with Sensei Jason. She thoroughly enjoys every minute. Such a friendly and fun environment. I would highly recommend!

Great for all ages both our children attend and are progressing really well. Really rare you get to train with world champions that are current and relevant.

Excellent karate club and family friendly would recommend over any karate club..sensei Jason is so good and disciplined with the kids but also allows them to have fun at the end the balance is excellent between learning and fun right from warm up to finish

Good place to attend and learn how to defend yourself and get the family to do it to. The Sensei is friendly and I think working towards getting everyone involved, and trying to build a strong community.

Absolutely amazing club. Very friendly and clean environment. My 10-year-old usually very quickly loses the interest in such activities, but goes to this classes in an uplifting mood and can’t wait for the next Session. Sensei Jason is a master in what he does and deals with the children/parents in such a professional manner. Love the level of discipline and attention to each individual child based on their abilities and needs. I have noticed how fast my child's confidence level has changed ( in a positive way) since attending these classes. Highly recommend this club to anyone who is interested to learn karate!

Hi, my son has a new love that I thought I would share with you, karate. Through karate he has boosted his confidence, concentration and coordination which is not only helping in his karate but also through... 1. Increased concentration at school and during homework 2. Increased confidence in performances - his ability to speak/ sing and dance in front of an audience at school and of course confidence in his karate classes and tests (he's generally quite shy) 3. Reduced time in front of YouTube / computer games. 4. General confidence and ability to speak up for himself I would like to thank Jason Netherton and the rest of the Ippon Karate team and members for the welcoming and support shown to Joseph, and would recommend it to others.

Fantastic friendly environment. Great place for kids to learn karate that incorporates fitness and discipline too . Exellent

stepping in front of the toilet door to stop a 4 year old using the loo before class (as is the usual routine) and expecting him to hold his bladder until the end is bang out of order, then telling my wife to 'get out' after she questioned this and asked him (sensei jason) to chill, very disrespectful behaviour and saying 'he should have gone at home' doesn't justify it. i can understand if this was mid-class and agree that children should be disciplined but this was a clear attempt to make an example out of him infront of the class and could constitute abuse/bullying. since my son started here in december he has not really learned much karate, not many efforts of encouragement, engagement or correcting moves/technique have been made (though some efforts were made by the other taller sensei/black belt). my son initially enjoyed going to this club but soon came to dislike attending, i just hope this has not discouraged him from taking up karate in future. i hope this review is a learning curve in how to conduct onself and not display this kind of rude behaviour in front of the students and parents.

My 4-year-old daughter joined last year. At first, I was not sure if it would be good for her, as she is quite young and her mother language is not English. However, it is amazing to see how much she has grown up and how much confidence she has gained. Senseis are all very supportive, and the other classmates are also very nice to the little ones.

All senseis are very supportive and understanding. Throughout the months, I felt my self-confidence rising. Sensei Jason does not only teach children karate; he mentions talks that relate to what children should expect in the outside world. Positive environment I really recommend!
