Brilliant fishery, the owner is a very nice lady I’ve been quite a few times now and it’s always been a good day. There’s a lake for everyone just ask them what you’re wanting to catch your skill level and they will gladly help. Brilliant customer service. Bailiff who greets at the gate is a always down for banter and very knowledgeable. Food is good, quality of fish is good better than most other runs waters. The only thing I’d like to see more is the use of propolis/carp care spray. As for the reviews of 1 star reviews because people blanked. Surely that’s your problem and your poor angling/planning.

We love this place, numerous lakes each offering different challenging fish and all set in beautiful countryside, its an absolute pleasure to come here and fish, not forgetting the staff who are so helpful, all in all an absolute amazing place and you definitely will not be disappointed 👍👍😁😁

First time fishing cudmore. I fished Arena, Great days fishing at a fair price. Had plenty of carp action. The pool is controlled very well with anglers spaced out. Highly recommended 👌

Brilliant fishing always fun even on the pleasure lakes very rarely lets me down, Caught nothing massive but with the extra oxygen being pumped into the lake the Carp were fighting extra crazy 🤪

Today the 25th June 2021, Started off a nice days fishing. My son and i booked a day ticket on, George's lake. Had some nice Mirror Carp. These two were the best at 13lb.5oz and 12lb 2oz.

Absolutely a brilliant fisheries friendly staff excellent cafe on site. I've been here a few times this year it's my new happy time place. Well worth the 120 miles round trip from Oldham. after coming back to the sport after 10years. If you don't catch 🎣 try golf🏌️‍♀️ it may suit you better🤣

Amazing experience some good catches and friendly staff

I arrived at cudmore last night bringing my little lad for his first night fishing trip. After packing the car with extra food and warm clothes so my lad would have the best time I forgot to bring my box with rigs bait alarms (everything you need). I went to the reception to see if anyone could help, Martin went above and beyond opening the shop just for us and even lending me his own personal alarms. We went and had a great night and we will definitely be back again, thank you again Martin.

Went in October. Fishing on Arena was great. Started the session with a mug of tea and a breakfast bap in the cafe ... quality, price and service excellent.

Fished on Avoca, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The swims were the largest I have seen and covered in astro turf which was new for me but so practical! This is a long way from me but already booked another session.

First time on a commercial ,brilliant venue ,fished peg 29 Arena ,good quality bream to pound and half ,loads of perch ,skimmers ,roach ,chose to waggler fish double maggot ,carnt use a pole caught all day,one carp to about 4 lbs, great staff ,great food,clean toilets ,will defo be back ,

Ace place to teach kids, highly recommended.

Lovely place to come fishing just a shame they have changed the rules by only having one day water for big carp fishing . Please reopen another day water for cats and carp fishing.

1st visit here..great peaceful location..some narrow lanes to negotiate but manageable..hard standing car park some small pot holes but again manageable..very pleasant cafe..clean with eating outside some with parasols..good clear menu's with black board offers..l ordered a small breakfast and a slice of cake(all home made) and pot of tea for one..pets allowed inside..good service..food good presentation..hot..good value..thank you 👏

The Cake Shack is well worth a visit. Hight quality food at very good prices. The cakes are delicious, the only problem is deciding what to choose - savory or sweet - maybe both!! Have a look you won't be disappointed 👍👍😊

1st Ever visit August Bank Holiday, did 3 days 2 nights on Georges (Peg 2), was a decent session despite the water being down about 3ft. Had 3 Carp upto 15lb 12oz, lost 3 Carp and was Snapped off by a good sized Catfish. Saw 2 Catfish come out while I was there, 16lb & 24lb. Going again in October for the same duration, 3 days 2 nights.

Lovely cafe light and airy with excellent parking near door, table and chairs with umbrella s outside, had a lovely ploughman's, friendly owner, can't wait to meet Staffs sausage dog group there at Xmas. Very doggy friendly. Will certainly make it a regular haunt.

A great place for all types of anglers a well established fishing shop and cafe

Not fished here for many a year, turned way from Heronbrook (that's another story) anyway they made us very welcome at short notice, and what a great days fishing we had. Many thanks we will be back 🎣🎣🎣👍👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗

Fished the arena and my brother and I actually felt like we emptied the place on the pole. We caught one fish each to start on the method feeder at the island but it was quiet and so went on the short pole and margins a little later. Basically had carp 6lb + all day and landed a few in double figures with one probably touching 16lb mark!

Great venue great staff, adalaide is a great up and coming speci water no pasties in there anymore. So don't be fooled in to expecting an instant run the water is much harder/ better.

Great fishing on the arena pool and helpful bailiffs. Food was good from the cafe and also on site toilets

Not been fishin there yet. Just a visit today. We'll impressed. Lovely people. Only to happy to give advice on which pools for what fishing you want .

Fished arena for the 1st time amazing days fishing lots of carp to be had all methods work poll feeder so on and nothing lower than 5lb going up to 17lb

Really nice place to spend a couple of days, even a local takeaway delivers there.

Great fishing and a lovely setting. Very helpful. Some lovely waters with fishing for all abilities
