Memorial for the people (deputy the two children Paul and Virginie) who died at at ship accident in front of the coast. The memorial is unspectacular the scenery is nice. On weekends it is meeting point for the local people. You can park at St Mark Church nearby. The area seems a little bit run-down but not dodgy. To learn more about the fate of Paul and Virginie, don't miss the exhibition about Paul and Virginie at the blue penny museum in Port Louis.

This formed part of the history of Mauritius and represent by a monument in a nice location with panoramic views of the sea. The place is well conserved and cleaned. Small parking is available and a neat washroom too. There are benches for relaxing and a nearby restaurant. Kids friendly location. Not bad for a quick visit.

The monument and its surroundings has improved since the last time I was here. The place is much cleaner and tidy. There is also now food available at the restaurants in the road. It’s a small parking area, but it’s never full. You won’t spend a lot of time here unless you plan of having a picnic.

I was not expecting much but reality was even worst! 2 pieces of stone one over the other one and that's what you'll find there! wind even stronger than other part of island and sea... Nice brown colour 😋 we were around.. do NOT try to drive there just for it!

Very nice place for inhabitants to relax. Some kiosks are available for use and there are also benches around the monument. Everyday lots of people visit this place. A public bathroom is also available.

The monument is very simple. It was even hard to tell if this was thw Paul and Virginie monument while other names are in the monument...probably my bad because i don't know the story. The little restaurant seemed friendly and welcoming. The bay is not ideal for swimming so there is not much to do around.
