This place is amazing and the staff is great! Anca did a fabulous job on my hair. I came in with an undesired hair color, from another salon a few days prior, and Anca did a great job finding out what I wanted, what I didn’t, talked me thru the entire process! I was uneasy at first, knowing my last experience was traumatic, but the whole staff made me feel comfortable! Anca took her time thru the whole process ensuring I received the desired look I requested. I never felt like I was being rushed out of the chair. I love my experience at Valdala’s. I have had several stylist here and they are all wonderful. I have especially loved my color and hairstyle that Alisha has given me. I’ve attached a photo of her work! I leave every time feeling pretty and wishing she could do my hair everyday! My husband loves the way my hair turns out which makes it even better. She is great from start to finish. She also is wonderful to chat with as she works on your hair. Everyone that works there is wonderful. A great experience. I have tried a few hair salons in town and finally found one I love.

I’m just visiting Kalamazoo, and came to Vadala Salon, in nearby Portage, because my sister, who lives here, highly recommended it. I highly recommend it, as well! The space is open and great, everyone is friendly and helpful, and my hairdresser, Jayton, knew more about hair loss than anyone else I had asked about it! My sister also loves getting manicures here.

I just completed my first tattoo removal session, and had such a great experience! Malia and her team are extremely thorough and made the process incredibly easy! Highly recommended!

So far, I have come here for 3 tattoo removal sessions and I have not had an unpleasant experience yet! I am starting to notice my tattoos fading! I was skeptical at first but now that I am starting to see results I am getting ready to have my other tattoos removed as well! I am always treated with respect when I am here and i would definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for tattoo removal

Anca did an incredible job with my balayage and cut. She did a full consultation before doing anything to make sure we were on the same page, and taught me so much about my hair. The salon was clean and everyone was so friendly. Absolutely coming back!

The service was excellent. My hair color was too dark for the color I wanted to dye it and they were up front with me about it and offered me options. I really appreciated their honesty and help! I also LOVE the cut and style!
