Finally got to visit Plate last night with some friends. After a lot of deliberating we ended up getting the Avocado Bomb for an appetizer - delicious way to start. I neglected to take pictures of the actual meal but everything we got looked beautiful. The Honey Butter wings were spot on. The Sushi was very good and they definitely do not skimp on portions! The Snow Snow for dessert was a perfect ending. Staff was friendly and polite. Will be back!

What a great experience! Food was phenomenal. The Garlic & Soy chicken was simply *chefs kiss* also loved the Bento Box, and sushi was some of the best I’ve had in town. They were clearly slammed and the staff certainly went above and beyond to make sure we were attended to while we waited. The Green Tea was great! I appreciate it was brewed and not simply a bag dropped off in hot water. Only complaint would be it was quite cold inside due to how busy and the door opening/closing. But I blame that more on MI weather than anything the restaurant could do. If the staff read this: thank you so much! We appreciated how you kept checking in, no apologies needed. We were happy to wait for the fabulous food. Looking forward to coming back!

Unagi Don is one of my favorite dishes-- I haven't found it anywhere else in Ann Arbor. Delicious!

I had the Beef Teriyaki Bento for lunch at Plate Sushi and Chicken, and it was a delightful experience! The interior of the restaurant was not only aesthetically pleasing but also quite comfortable, which was perfect for our group dining outing. The best part was that our food came out surprisingly fast! The Beef Teriyaki Bento was a real treat. The teriyaki sauce was just the right balance of savory, not too sweet, and not too salty - it hit the spot perfectly. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, as I can’t wait to try all the other bento options on the menu. A great place for a delicious and satisfying meal! I had a fantastic experience at Plate Sushi and Chicken in Ann Arbor. I ordered the ‘Salmon on the Beach’ and the ‘Popcorn Chicken Bento.’ The meal started with a pleasant surprise - cucumber and crab for the appetizer, along with a bowl of miso soup before the main course. The portion size was generous, so I had leftovers for dinner, which was a bonus. The sauces were delicious, and the shumai was quite tasty. I’m looking forward to returning for another delightful meal!

Phenomenal small restaurant selling more than generous portions of spectacular Japanese bento boxes. If I could give 10 out of 5 stars, I would.

This place was RAD. We sat outside with a group of 6, EVERYTHING was top notch in food quality and temperature. These guys know what’s up. It’d be a crime to not come here if you’re looking for some of the best Asian food in the city. Sushi, Bento, and noodles were perfect. We’ll be back :)

Loved this place. I only decide to visit the place again if it’s worth the second visit, and this place really is. Very clean and delicious food, and great service! My fav is their shaved ice, at my first visit I tried their mango shaved ice in the summer, but I had to visit it again because of good it was and try also their strawberry, SUPER YUM!
