A pleasant surprise. My wife and I were looking for a Sushi place for my birthday. We used Google maps to look up the nearest location and settled for Sushi Zone. We were so glad we did. The host/waitress was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. She explained in detail the menu and the diffent kinds of Sushi to my wife who is new to Sushi. When the plate was brought out we were so surprised with the presentation. You could tell the chef really takes pride in his creations.

First time coming here recommended to me by an old employee as having some really good sushi. The salmon nigiri was amaaazing had to order more👀👀👀 the eel nigiri was really delicious too. The salmon pizza was delicious and freshly hot😋 every roll I ordered I enjoyed I would order from this place again and recommend it🙌🙌🙌👏

Small, hidden gem! From outside it is a bit ominous, with a teeny parking lot that's shared with a liquor store, however, don't let that deter you. Inside it's surprisingly spacious, tables are distanced, and it's impeccably clean. Ingredients are up front and you can see how well everything is kept. There was one server (hey that's just how things are now) but she was hustling and did a phenomenal job keeping up with dine in, phones and carryout. I ordered the beef teriyaki roll, which was interesting and delicious, the beef was tender and flavorful, spice was just right, packed tightly in rice and wrapped in nori. I also had an AAC (Avocado, Asparagus and Cucumber), veggies were fresh, bright and crisp. The rolls came with a miso soup as well. I cannot comment on the restrooms because I did not use the facilities. I will definitely be visiting here again for lunch in the future.

I tried the Tempura Veggie Roll and it was DELICIOUS!! Been here before and typically get the AAC which is a Asparagus, Avacado & Cucumber Roll. I recently also tried their Crab Rangoon which was not the traditional kind. Its not crabmeat and wasnt to my liking. Additionally the Miso soup could be much better. Nonetheless the food is always fresh and great service. The decor in this restaurant is very nice. I recommend.

By the looks of this place, it wouldn't be my first choice for sushi, but I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and speedy service that this establishment offered. The prices are right and it's mostly a take out place, but you could eat inside and you'll probably enjoy your visit. There was alot of carry-out traffic's which tells me that the fish stays fresh in this place, and to me that's important to play it safe. Give them a try and see for yourself.

I don't get the hype, this is stuff I could have gotten out of the freezer section at Kroger. Pictured is the chicken noodle stir fry I just bought. See any chicken or veggies? Nope, because there's not much of any and the teeny tiny pieces of chicken in there are dried out and nasty. The vegetables look like the trash the chef has on his cutting board. My husband's beef noodle stir fry is the same and my son said his ramen tasted like it came from a package, and not the good Shin Ramen either. These dishes were expensive. I have no idea about their rolls but by the quality and lack of food from this order, it will be my first and last time there.

This place is incredible. The AAC roll was fresh and delicious, the salmon in the Philadelphia roll tasted absolutely perfect. Their tamago tastes just as good as Noble Fish. Customer service was great even though they were short staffed. Definitely recommend this place!

Great hidden gem on 9 Mile! The food was delicious, the presentation was the best I've ever seen for sushi, and everyone inside was so friendly. My only regret was that I got too excited about the food and ate some before I could take a picture of the plate untouched! Will definitely be returning!

My wife and I had the miso soup, ginger salad with avocado, spicy tuna roll, ninja roll, spicy tuna crunch roll, spicy California roll, tuna nigiri and eel nigiri. We have had sushi all over the world and just ate at Maru Sushi last week. This place matched the best miso, ginger salad, rolls and tuna nigiri we have ever had. The eel nigiri was not very good but the rest more than made up for it. Also, the service was fast and friendly. A hidden gem for sure!!!

Fantastic sushi place in Eastpointe! Their tempura vegetable roll is a unique roll and a favorite. The sushi is fresh, great quality, and very reasonable price point!

Food always taste fresh and it’s reasonably priced. We love sitting at the bar watching Sung whip up our sushi! Me and my girlfriend got the spicy California rolls as always. Spot it really lowkey with cool vibes.

Picked up some rolls yesterday at Sushi Zine for the first time and just want to share the joy!! The sushi was fresh and delicious. I’d say the best I ever had. The staff was friendly and helpful, packaging the sushi perfectly. I love to take sushi to the lake and Sushi Zone will be my stop from now on! I had the specialty rainbow roll and spicy California roll. Can’t wait to go back for more!!

If you're looking for sushi that won't break the bank, this place is an excellent option. Maybe it's not as good as some higher priced places, but it is leaps and bounds above grocery store sushi. A bump lower in the service due to my online order getting overlooked and not getting started until I arrived to pick it up, and no apology or any consideration for it. The atmosphere is okay. It was pretty clean with a handful of tables for people to eat at. When I was there, everyone was getting takeout. I would go again when in the mood for sushi and on a budget

Thought it wasn’t going to be good based on the location BUT I WAS WRONG! Service was amazing, I felt like I was at a high-end restaurant due to the attentiveness and kindness! The sushi options are great and very flavorful 👌🔥

I got takeout. The service was amazing. The food was great. The ambiance was frugal. I was there for the food not the decor. I would eat sushi at Sushi Zone rather than other high end places since the focus is the food.

My favorite local sushi spot. I love the salmon or chicken bowls. The fried snapper role is so delicious. And the super dragon is yummy. The waitress here, Jazz, is so amazing. She has the best customer service. I love their chill yet attentive customer focused vibes. I would return and highly recommend!

Best damn sushi spot around. Dont sleep on this place!!! Taste homemade and you can tell the chef enjoys making his entrées and it shows through his quality of taste and presentation. This is my new spot! Keep it up because I will be back!
