You are definitely paying for the high quality fish here. + Omakase for two was a good deal. + Futomaki had eel inside which was a pleasant surprise. Their Tamago is well made. + Karaage was very crisp and perfect size to eat. + Soba texture was great and a nice dish to cleanse palatte. + edamame (not pictured) was okay. + beef tatami (not pictured) had the perfect amount of sear and I love how it was on a bed of onions to eat with.

This is the best spot for authentic Japanese food. The lunch deals are a great value. I got the sushi option (shown in photo). It was $18! Highly recommend!

Great sushi, probably one of the best in metro Detroit area however it’s always a little pricey. I think I may go with their Japanese curry or udon bowls next time. Always a favorite though for flavor and ambiance of the restaurant

I’ve been in MANY SUSHI RESTAURANTs and i have to admit: 🚨THIS IS THE BEST SUSHI RESTAURANT I’ve ever been😱 The staffs was Japanese, sushi chef was also Japanese. The taste of fresh and authentic are speechless. OMASAKE also available! Udon is different and very unique! Reservations recommended!

Michigan doesn’t have that many good sushi restaurants so let me tell you I am so happy to have found this place. Me and my partner ordered the omakase and several other pieces when we went. Everything was so well done and the staff were very helpful. Although the price was a little high, it was definitely worth it. I will 100% be back!

Best sushi in Michigan. I travelled around Japan a couple of years ago so I am very picky with the quality. The house sake is great. They do have sea cucumber once per year for about 2 weeks which is difficult to find outside Japan. Never had it in this restaurant though. The staff is really friendly. Fish is super fresh. Highly recommend!

Probably the most authentic and traditional sushi restaurant in 500 miles. If you want straight-up traditional sushi and sashimi, this is your place. If you want deep fried rolls with cream cheese, this is NOT your place. Food, service and atmosphere are all awesome if you're a real sushi afficionado.

Service was excellent, food was delicious, though I found the menu to be slightly confusing in terms of the number of sushi rolls on the menu. One side listed by piece, and the other side did not list any. This was quickly cleared up by the very patient staff. Overall a fantastic experience, and I would definitely eat here again without a second thought.

Excellent sushi! They started with a green tea that was so good. The Miso soup was amazing. We had some yellowtail rolls, yellowtail nigiri, and squid nigiri. All was really good. Some of the best sushi I have had. Service and atmosphere is also top notch. Very polite and friendly staff.

I never been to Japan but the restaurant made me feel I was there. The staff was outstanding. Friendly, helpful with understanding the menu, always looking on you and your needs. What can I say about the Chef's but, WOW 👌. The atmosphere all around was very good. If your in the mood for Japanese cuisine, I do recommend this place.

The Japanese restaurant with Japanese feeling. This is the best Japanese food that I’ve ever tried when I’ve visited Michigan, and I’ll come back again to try Omakase.

Outstanding food, and amazing service! Everyone here was so welcoming and really made me feel like I was appreciated. The food was top notch, and the atmosphere was perfect. The best sushi you will find, for sure. Authentic, fresh, and delicious.
