👍👍 Amazing! Found this place by happenstance. Stopped by for a sandwich and a refreshing beverage and was not disappointed. I got the Small Turkey Sub with a side of pasta salad and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. Definitely will come back again! I drive by this place all the time and finally decided to try it. I have I have no regrets. My first sandwich was called the Royale (8inch) which they said was small but idk how 8 inches is small. 🫣🤣 However, it was delicious. This place is definitely one of my new favorite “sandwich” spot in Rochester. Glad took a chance on my curiosity.

Fantastic place to get a sub....and a garbage plate! The shaved steak plate is definitely in the top 5 of plates in Rochester.

Decided to try them yesterday for the first time because I NEEDED a sub and Rubino's was closed at 2pm. Placed a takeout order 30 minutes before they closed (usually restaurants hate this). The owner personally prepared both of our subs as if he were making them for his best friends--jam packed and weighing in at a few pounds each. He took the time to talk with myself and other customers, again as if we were his best friends. The whole time, making sure we knew how appreciative and happy he was to have our business. Subs were excellent and we'll be going back soon.

Went walking with my wife and found this great little place. I had the Italian stallion sandwich, it has meatballs and Italian sausage, the food was excellent and the service was superb, the staff there talked to me like we were old friends. My only small gripe was that there wasn't any AC or fans on this very hot day . But overall this was a fantastic expirence!

So delicious!! The owner Will and the rest of staff are very kind! Everytime I come here it’s always amazing food. We got a Philly cheese steak sandwich, chicken bacon ranch sandwich and fried pickles. So yummy

We have been here 2x. Both times were a hit. Majorly good stuff. (My wife also said to let the world know they have some of the best fried bologna ever!) Everything is made fresh and to order. The guys behind the counter are great and helpful if you have questions. They have breakfast sandwiches and subs. You will not find a better deal on Park Ave.

Haven't even finished my meal and I'm writing this. Tommy Gun hot sub - so delicious. Cheesey Eddy cookie sandwich (Jane doe-light) is so good and I'm not one who generally gravitates towards sweets.

Kind owner, delicious sub, will definitely return. You must try the red osier roast beef sandwich and the little candies at the register. Everyone is really thoughtful. You gotta try it!

Had a few questions on the menu and the staff was great! Got the shaved steak sammy and it was amazing! Roll was the same! Didn’t disappoint. Other order was an Italian sammy “custom” and he loved it.

It's a great place, and you will know by the crowd. Busy, but worth the wait. Great food, good atmosphere, good service, going back again and again.

The sub bread was thick and bready which made it feel more like a homemade sandwich than a sub shop sandwich. Quality of the meat was good and service was friendly. Would try other menu items and come back.

My husband and I love coming here for lunch. The service from start to finish is always great ! The staff is friendly and helpful. They take their time with each customer and we never feel rushed. The seating / eating area is always clean and food is always fresh. Love it here !

Love this place. Great fries, chicken parm and meatball sub. Love that they carry the classic Fizz sodas too.

Did not intend to come here. We planned on eating kiddy corner, at Mad Hatter. However, the quoted 30 minute wait for a table at Mad Hatter turned into double that (plus some) so we left for Calabresella’s as it was so close. Glad we did. The gentleman behind the counter (younger, in shape and with a gold cross necklace) was so friendly and helpful. He made great recommendations for my wife and I as well as our 2 year old. The food was super quick to come out. And more importantly, delicious! The antipasto, fried moz sticks, MJ sub and a hot chicken /bacon sub were some of the best deli items I’ve had in a long time. When we were leaving, the other gentlemen behind the counter went out of their way to wish us a good day. Super nice folks who crank out delicious food. Thank you for a great meal!

Food is good, the guys working the counter though are the reason to not come back. Much more interested in talking to each other and their friends than making a sandwich. 30 minutes for two sandwiches when there was literally no one in the store was a bit much. I've just learned that I will avoid this location and actually make the entire drive out to the other location because it means that I will actually get my food in a reasonable period of time like those two little at home rather than having to wait almost 40 minutes and still have my sandwiches be wrong

Great subs to your liking, antipasto salads, onion rings & more. Then there's deserts like cannolis, very large cookies, brownies, Andies Candies assortments, etc plus dog treats as well. Go home feeding the whole family! Sales man was great also! Very nice.

Amazing subs, the kind you'd expect on the east coast, or Jersey, or NYC... Glad we found them so far from the ocean! Sad we can't find that quality in the upper Midwest:(

Very good cheese steak sandwich. Generous portions as well. They were very friendly and had the food ready quickly. Nicely done, guys!

Stopped in just shy of closing time. Young man working welcomed me w open arms. Did not rush me, made me the best Philly Cheesecake on the planet. 2 fellas outside enjoying the weather and this employee refreshed their coffees without them asking. This is what we are missing in our culture today. I miss it. Glad I found some love today at Calabresella.

Usually my go to sub shop, but we decided to try breakfast this time and it was great! Hearty portions and still excellent service and selection!

First time here today. Such a long wait for two subs and over priced for a basic cold sub. It was super hot inside because of all the windows and sun shining right in, they unfortunately messed up my order but were prompt about fixing it. My boyfriend really enjoyed the meatball sub. Props to them for starting a sub shop with dibellas right down the road.

This the best sub place ever! Never really had a good sub until I came to this place. The place is clean inside and out. friendly courteous people that actually listen to what you want on your sub and for your food. Always shop and eat local. Thank you for delicious subs always! :) Never not once disappointed. I will always tell people to come to Calabresella's sub shop! They also have delicious chips.

Absolutely Delicious! Shredded steak was phenomenal Canoli are ALWAYS phenomenal and that corned beef is just one of a kind 100/10 would order everyday if I could 🤤

Messed up order and, while manager was friendly/apologetic, the first employee I spoke with was surly and rude. Additionally, they use iceberg lettuce and their pasta salad contains fake-looking yellow cheese 🤮🤮 Not up to Park Avenue standards.
