Hidden little gem. If you've never been here dont expect something huge or state of the art. This conservatory is small and only $2 to get in. Turtles, birds and tortoises in every corner. memorial benches line walkways. Beautiful and maintained with plants and trees covering surfaces and reaching towards every window. 🐢🐤🦋🌵

Absolutely amazing. I love this little conservatory, it was such a breath of fresh air for spring. Very nice setup and beautiful to walk through. Enjoyable any time of year but it’s especially nice at the beginning of spring when you need that nice green feeling. The Quail are so adorable and the turtles are fun to look at. They even have a wandering tortoise that likes to sit on feet. It’s a great place to go to get some nature feelings and very family friendly.

We went to see their holiday displays during a free weekend event they were offering. My kids had a great time. We had wanted some more information on the plants that were there, not all of them were labeled and the one staff member that was there was very busy we didn't want to bother him.

Great time visiting Lamberton Conservatory during a recent visit to Rochester. Good way to get out of the rain and see some nature at the same time.

An amazing botanical garden experience for only $3! Because it's open year round, plan to dress for a warm greenhouse experience. Take your time and make sure you look up and down for all kinds of birds and other creatures. I will definitely go back because I feel like I walked through here too quickly.

Very affordable spot that also can be rented for photoshoots. Lots of plants of all kinds and several nice areas for photos. Be aware though as there are lots of little critters living here like birds and turtles. Watch where you walk! Cute spot for the whole family

My family has enjoying The Lamberton Conservatory for several years. It's an exciting experience for young children to enjoy, but my young teen also enjoys it as well. There's a lot of history behind the conservatory and it serves as a place for both education and delight for all ages. The entry fee is very little and you can walk around as much as you'd like. There's plenty of parking and a bathroom with changing table (at least in womens bathroom). My daughters and i make a day of it-- beginning at conservatory, picnicing in park and walking the paths and gardens at Highland. It's a great day to 'stop and smell the roses'.

The conservatory is small but packed with amazing varieties and adorable critters. We love seeing all the giant palms and desert varieties. Admission is just $3 for adults and they have a few spots you can sit and rest and take in the florals. Beautiful place for pictures!

A beautiful conservancy with a lot of personality. There are quails, turtles and tortoises all along this conservatory. It's 3 dollars for entry and doesn't take too long to explore. I was surprised that the quails, turtles and tortoise were all roaming freely around the conservancy.

Cheap entry fee, small but full of variety. Excellent place to see many different kinds of plants, and with that there's plenty of subjects to practice sketching and photography skills without having to travel far to see these plants in person. There are turtles, tortoises and little quails roaming the conservatory. More so the quails. So just watch your step and be mindful of your surroundings.

This conservatory is an affordable and beautiful space to visit for all ages with it being 3 dollars for adult tickets and 2 dollars for students and seniors. It has a variety of plants year round, with some being seasonal and others being long standing flora in the greenhouse. Along with various plants there are also birds such as quails and turtles who roam the grounds and live in the ponds here year round and call this place home.

Amazing place to visit if you are in the area. First off it's super cheap to get in and even when we went during the lilac festival it was not that busy. The conservatory has several different themed rooms and even has turtles and quail running around inside. Although it's not a long walk I love that there are benches and chairs throughout the rooms for people to sit and enjoy the peaceful environment. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place! The plants and cacti are amazing! We only spent about 1/2 hour going through, but could have spent longer. Would be great place to bring a book and sit on one of many benches and read. Watch your step as there are surprise little ones walking on the floor! 😉

I was really surprised how many turtles there were and how free they are to move around. Feels less like a zoo exhibit and more like a habitat. Definitely worth the $3.

Hidden GEM! It’s a must visit, it’s small, but only a couple bucks and my son loves all the turtles. It’s so gorgeous and everything looks really well taken care of!

Small but worth the $3 visit. The conservatory has a koi pond, quails, and numerous turtles in addition to plants from multiple temperate zones. I had such fun looking at everything, I forgot to take photos except for this one unique plant (oops!). Unfortunately the QR codes on the plant identification plaques lead to a broken website - I would have loved to learn more about each plant while I was there. Additionally, they were cash only while I was there, so plan accordingly.

I have always loved this place. Very relaxing place to warm up and enjoy some nature. I like to hang out and sketch for a while.

Lovely little place! A place to find non-indigenous plants and flowers. So many turtles and tortoises. Be careful not to step on one.

Was a wonderful experience! My 10y.o. really enjoyed the "wildlife" and the variety of flora present in this space is amazing! Maintenance of appearance could have been better, but considering staffing shortages everywhere, it was still in very good condition. Will definitely visit again for the ambiance and the oxygen (breathing felt good in there).

Great place to escape winter blues! Not too big for a young family to get bored! Perfect for our family of 5 children to enjoy the plants and animals! Especially the turtles & quails!

An interesting greenhouse-like building with turtles and birds living inside, and coi fish in a center court yard. There are several cute spots to sit and even great for a photo opp. There is even a room with awesome cactus and tropical plants. A very neat stop in Highland Park.

This is a great place to go in the winter and in the summer when you need something refreshing. There's a lot to see and even some turtles, ducks and quail that live inside. Don't forget to visit the outside garden and pond at the center of the building. It's the door at the end of the hall perpendicular to the front desk.
