This location is an anomaly for license plate agencies. The staff is friendly, efficient, and pleasant to work with. I am here often as I have a business with multiple vehicles. Service is consistently good and quick. They really should be used as a model for all of the other agencies.

While in the office last week, one of the girls had time to do her nails but no time to answer a phone. Then when I went to her, she asked to see my driver's license and never returned them. No answer when I called to request them to send them to me because they close before I could make it age I get off work. What the h**l am I supposed to do? Miss more work because their employees are more interested in their nails?

We all know getting your tag or paying your taxes suck, but the employees here are very knowledgeable and make it as positive of an experience as possible. Please remember this and be kind when you are there because there's tons of us and only so many of them and they do everything in their power to help us!

They were empty and we changed ownership of a car with no problems. Very helpful.

Knowledgeable people relating to Titles & License plates. Calling is futile because they have years of experience and have learned to not answer questions because every case always has differences that are not usually discovered until all information is presented in their office. Trust what I am saying isn't to discourage you from going in. Because they give straight forward answers when you carry your info in.

In and out with excellent customer service April 4 2023 within 3 minutes renewing two vehicles registration and taxes.

For the love of God do not try to transfer a tag here. Do yourself a favor and just buy a new one, because in the end that is probably what you will have to do anyways.

We came from forest city this morning where they were absolutely rude for no reason. Ashley was a WONDERFUL help and she was super professional, she explained everything, and i can 100% tell you i will never go back to the forest city office EVER EVER AGAIN. Thank you again Ashley!

I usually go in around 2-3pm and I get in an out. Their very prompt, friendly and very helpful. Just as you leave an head back to the parking lot on the north side. Watch out! For ppl leaving, their not being aware of ppl walking. Almost, got hit walking back to my car. I heart drop 😮 several inches seeing that huge truck grill in front of me. So very alert and if you take children with hold their hands. Its not worth being ran over in an parking lot of an business.

I couldn't have asked for easier and greater experience with renewing my registration and obtaining my new sticker on the spot. The whole process literally took 5 minutes and the lady at the front desk was amazing. I highly recommend this office if you've had difficulty at the DMV or other license plate agencies in the state.

The employees here are knowledgeable and polite. They work quickly to move the long lines of people through. They have someone at the door to regulate how many people come in at a time.

For a place no one looks forward to every year, this office does well. The staff is helpful. There's usually not a long line.

Fast and easy no complaints much easier than it used to be, I put a car back on the road title was in my name only thing I had to do is step out and call my insurance company they sent me an email she gave me a $15 tag for 10 days so I can get it inspected then go back and buy a tag very easy!

Shelby NC NCDMV Is one of the best. Tellers are very helpful, polite. Office is neat and clean. Has never been slow.

I use to dread coming here because pre COVID the ladies that worked here were so unprofessional and nasty to deal with, but thank God someone decided to hire nice please professional customer service reps. I have to say it's now a pleasure to go renew my tag.
