I can, with 150% confidence, vouch that this is by far the place for you. Coach Redgee is an absolute master. Why? He has probably the best fight IQ out of any trainer I’ve had and I’ve been in and out of this game for about ten years. If you want to be great, he’s going to help you get there. He studies everything and will fill every small detail you might not even notice you're leaving out. He’s definitely there to help you master your specific craft. It’s not one of those gyms where you go there and they're doing the same pad work, defense and foot work as everyone else does. He is a master and will take the time catering to your own unique fighting style that everyone has and will help you find it and perfect it. Coach Kellie knows the game very well also. If you want to get the best conditioning and shape you ever been in, well I highly suggest you go give it a whirl. Coach Kellie is also great at holding pads and getting your footwork, defense, and punching game sharp and it will all transition into your fight game, not just a cool looking workout – there is an absolute science behind it all! She’s EXTREMELY motivating and is someone who will NOT let you fail, you will be pushed to your best potential that you probably didn’t know you had. The thing that absolutely amazes me about STL Boxing Academy is that, whether you have been there 1 week or 1 year – they will not let you make the wrong decision. If they do not think you are ready to be in that ring, they will not throw you in it. They protect their fighters, whether you’re a beginner or a professional. Some might be intimated to work hard, they will pace you and the workouts and equipment that they have set up are very creative and fun. When you go there it will be immediately evident that they put A LOT of thought into their whole set up. It’s a place with not 1, but 2 full size rings for plenty of sparring. They have a REAL boxing ring and will get you completely prepared for your real fights - if you choose that path! When it comes to the environment and the people that attend the academy it’s absolutely amazing! Everyone is so positive and uplifting and there’s just a real TEAM effort, even if you’re not a fighter and just want to get in shape. In or out of the ring, the experience provided will help you even in your personal life! It is a very tightly knitted community, zero judgement zone. I can honestly say, in my 10 years of doing this – this is my absolutely favorite gym. My absolute favorite coach Redgee and coach Kelley and all the friends and team mates I’ve met, they all hold a very near and dear spot in my heart and I'd honestly do anything for each and every one of them.

I could not be happier with the service and quality of STL Boxing Academy. Reggie is a boxing guru and excels at teaching my young sons who have no prior experience. Not only do you get to pay lesson-by-lesson, but the lesson schedule is flexible. Wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

The STL Boxing Academy has changed our 6 year old’s outlook on life, after just ONE session. His confidence to defend himself is through the roof now. Coach Reggie is an amazing instructional coach. He taught our son a few basic skills in about 15 mins flat and worked with him to perfect them the rest of the session. He was patient and taught our son according to his level of understanding. Hands down the BEST boxing gym in St. Louis! They took a novice like me and made me believe I belonged and could get in the ring. As an entrepreneur I started taking lessons from Kelly to work on my mental sharpness and she has helped me so much both mentally and physically. I have been coming here for 1 month I have learned and still learning about boxing. Reggie been a good coach teaching me how to move and throw punches. This place has become my second home! I started only 2 months ago in July and the coaches and other fighters there truly make me better each day. Being someone who’s not only trained at multiple boxing and MMA gyms but someone’s who’s worked in the fitness industry for over a decade, STL Boxing Academy offers the most supportive learning/growth environment that I’ve experienced - hands down (but you know, keep your hands up lol). If you’re having any doubts about whether or not you’re ready to start training - stop it. Just show up! Even if it’s just get in shape - show up! But if you do want to start boxing or become a better boxer and are willing to put in the work CONSISTENTLY, flat out - these coaches are legit AF. I walk away stronger and smarter every day, so can you!

Today was my first day coming to STL boxing Academy and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone in the gym makes you feel like you belong an the knowledge that Coach Reggie has is incredible he breaks the science down and gives your mind and body a workout Simultaneously. Today was my first time training and let me tell you I truly enjoyed it. My coach Jersie was everything from personality to coaching. She made it fun, while at the same time making sure my form and everything was correct. She knows her stuff for sure! I met the other coach Redgee as well who helped me complete my paperwork and made sure I was greeted and helped as soon as I walked through the door. The training is affordable and you get your money’s worth! I don’t regret at all, choosing this gym to train at!!! If you’re thinking about it, do it! You won’t regret it.

If you are hesitant or 2nd guessing about seeing what Stl Academy has to offer for any reason cut it out. Do yourself a favor and try them out. I felt welcomed from the time I set foot in their establishment to the point I have my 6 yr old son and 12 yr old daughter learning from Coach Reggie and Coach Kelley and his staff. Not only do they train but they are great at breaking things down and teaching the skill of boxing. If you never thrown a punch or want to brush up on your skills they are worth checking out.

She was instantly treated and accepted as family by all. We love it so much, I started attending too! Took my son to Coach Reggie for Beginners Boxing and it truly was the best. This was not your typical boxing class, this was one-on-one coaching. Coach Reggies style of teaching is straight-forward, and no nonsense. You will leave with more knowledge and better skills. I highly recommend St. Louis Boxing Academy and Coach Reggie if you are a beginner a seasoned professional or anything in between. My son was so impressed with just 1 class that he is continuing for other classes. Also, their pricing is so affordable. You will not be disappointed.
