    I can't say enough good things about The Grind. I have been a client there for a little over three years and joining the grind has been one of the best decisions of my life. I started off with one-on-one training with Joe shortly after moving back to STL. I was an athlete all through school and played 4 years of collegiate volleyball, but never really had any experience in a gym or strength training. After moving home I was looking at ways to get back to being active, and the grind was perfect. Joe is a great trainer and extremely knowledgeable. I have had on and off injuries from playing so many years and he is great at working with me and correcting my form to prevent any more injuries. All of the trainers and staff at the grind are all so personable and really care about all their clients. I used to hate the idea of working out but now I look forward to going to The Grind everyday. It has become a perfect stress relief and a home away from home. I never thought when I joined I would get to where I am now in my fitness journey lifting as heavy as I can. Joe and all the trainers will push you to be your absolute best even through my complaining in the middle of a hard exercise. I recently started attending the small group classes on top of the one-on-one training and the experience has been great. Even in the group setting all the trainers are great about working with everyone and all the clients in the class push each other to be our best. It is such a great atmosphere anytime I walk in the gym. I could not recommend joining The Grind more, it really is one of the best gyms out there.

    This is definitely my favorite gym with the best trainers I have been at! Chico is a great trainer, always pushing me to my limit. Everyone else is never anything but super friendly and the facilities are always very clean and nice. Thank you to everyone at the Grind for helping me get stronger!!

    My sons (ages 12 and 15) and I all exercise at The Grind and we all love it! The 3 of us have different fitness needs and goals and the trainers are all experienced pros - they ask intelligent questions and create workouts to fit our individual needs. I appreciate that they are friendly but also serious. One of my sons works specifically with Jaylen and totally digs him! I work with Jacy and she is fantastic! My youngest son has worked with nearly all the trainers and has good things to say about each of them. The atmosphere at The Grind is great, too. It's not a 'get your make-up on to go to the gym kind of place' and it's also not intimidating. The clearly want to help everyone be their best.

    My 11 year old son started working out at The Grind a year ago. He plays football and soccer and has greatly improved his strength and conditioning. He has also increased his speed in the sports he plays. I highly recommend The Grind for youth fitness as it will help improve performance for any type of sport played. My son loves all of his coaches. They make the effort to find out strengths and weaknesses and tailor the workouts around that. I am grateful The Grind was recommended to us by a friend and now I recommend it to others just the same.

    Facility is always clean. They play modern music. Lots of televisions playing various programs for those who are using the treadmill/cardio machines.

    I have been going to the grind just a little over 8 months now. The first 4 and a half months was team training with crossfire working with Joe on the weekdays and Brittany on the weekends. During that time it was fun all around and even being in a group setting you could always get the right help to get better. After team training, I continued doing one on one training with Joe for volleyball and I have been doing that for about 3 and a half months. I have seen great progress in my skill level and overall health. I highly recommend The Grind. The space and atmosphere they create is very welcoming. The workouts are personalized so that you can work to the best of your abilities. I feel like if there’s something specific I want to work on Joe would get me there and help me in every way he can. Overall, I think The Grind is a good place to go and get better in every way shape or form.

    This off season I decided to train at the Grind and this was one of the best decisions I ever made. I personally trained with Chico who is very good at what he do! Not only was Chico great to work with but he pushed/challenged me to become a stronger and better athlete. Just in a little period of time I started to see a difference in my performance while training here. The facilities are great and the trainers at the Grind make you feel like family! I would recommend to everyone!

    LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE GRIND! THE TRAINERS HERE ARE SO FRIENDLY! CHICO HAS HELPED MY GIRLS AND I GET IN THE BEST SHAPE! HE KNOWS HOW TO PUSH US TO OUR LIMITS AND HAVE FUN AT THE SAME TIME! WE LOOK FORWARD TO OUR TRAINING SESSIONS EVERY WEEK! THANKS CHICO FOR PUTTING UP WITH OUR 😜SCHEDULES!

    If you’re serious and committed to the gym and want to get better everyday, THIS IS THE PLACE 4 YOU!! They whipped me back into shape by my third session had me feeling like Rocky after he reached the steps!! Great staff overall and will make you feel at home in no time, just gotta come ready to work. N yes I’m a real person.

    I was looking for a gym with experienced personal trainers whose backgrounds were based on educationally sound practices. The trainers at The Grind are all that and more. There are young athletes, those working toward scholarships and those who are working toward lifetime wellness and fitness being encouraged and challenged with every move. I came to prepare for a knee replacement. Holy cow…the programming Jacy provided allowed me to walk out of the hospital with no devices!!! I love the way Jacy challenges and encourages me every time I walk through the door. I can’t wait to work with Jacy again very soon!! Biggest THANK YOU ever!!!

    Excellent youth sports training. Nick has been totally flexible with our schedule and tailored every aspect of my daughter’s training to her ability, potential and sports specific goals. He’s even showed up to cheer her on at one of her games. Highly recommend! Every trainer is personable, engaging, experienced and knowledgeable. My daughter feels a difference on the court and looks forward to her sessions at Grind. Feels like family.

    I’ve been going to The Grind for nearly 4 months now. Kramer has been my personal trainer and I’m down in body fat and my muscle mass is up. He pushes and also encourages. Highly recommend this place if you want to get in shape.

    As a former athlete I tried to stay in shape on my own, well that didnt work so well as I lost motivation and I was at my heaviest these few years. I went in to the Grind to meet with Chico & Jacy for an evaluation. I started my one on one training with Jacy once a week in June and man, she keeps me motivated for trusting in the process, each and every week I look forward to my weekly sessions with her. She not only pushes me and motivates me to my best, she is also a good teacher and brakes down all the movements for me so I dont hurt my body. I have had numerous surgeries in my past and was always told my muscles probably wont get back to ware they were before, to say the truth i probably have more range of motion now than I have had in the past 8years. I truly do appreciate everything she does for me and shows me she is great and also is very down to earth and has a great personality. Jacy along with all the other Grind employees all welcome you with open arms and there is never dull moment. Such a fun & relaxed environment. Jacy, thank you for being there and also believing in me, i am lookin forward to seein my body go through more transformation and seeing more muscle growth.

    I highly recommend The Grind for any kind of physical training or sports specific training. The facility is clean and spacious and all of the trainers are knowledgeable, professional, and down-to-earth. Please consider Joe Lasky for any of your training needs. His football training has worked wonders for my son and brought out all of the potential that we saw in him. He loves and looks forward to going to training every week.

    I cannot say enough good things about my experience training at The Grind. I had really fallen off making fitness a priority in my life, and knew I needed to make a change. I am so happy I decided to get back on track at The Grind. Chico pushes me, challenges me, and holds me accountable during our sessions. I know every time I leave the gym I have had the best workout and am one step closer to where I want to be. Their facility is top notch and their entire staff is welcoming and knowledgeable. The Grind has created an amazing environment to grow, get better, and reach your fitness goals. They are the best!

    The Grind is wonderful!!! I am really enjoying all my workouts there and it has been a great experience from day 1!!!! On my first day I was greeted at the door by Ashely, who is super-friendly and was very welcoming. She showed me around and then I met with Dean, who discussed my goals with me and did an evaluation of where I was physically/how in shape I was (or actually wasn't). Dean is great! Felt very comfortable with him. He was laid back, professional and I felt that he really listened to what I was looking for in a workout, my goals and was very understanding of limitations I had regarding a past injury. Dean assigned me to my current trainer, Nick. I cannot say enough about how awesome Nick is!!!!!!!!! I love working out with Nick. He is friendly, personable, skilled, knowledgeable, professional and gives a great workout. There has been so much variety in my workouts. I am getting great results. Truly feeling much better since working out there. So happy with my results and how much more in shape and fit and strong I feel since working out at the Grind. Nick is also very understanding and respectful of my past injury and we don't do anything that bothers it. I very much appreciate that. I really enjoy working out with NIck. He is the best!!!!! The Grind also offers small group classes. I have taken those a couple times, taught by Joe, and he is just as awesome as Dean and Nick! Even though it is a group setting, if you have a question or need help, he is right there, so willing to help, or offer modifications if a move is too difficult. I would attend Joe's classes more often, but the timing does not always work out for me. Everyone at the Grind is so great! There is a very chill, laid back, vibe at the Grind. The trainers know what they are doing, and they care about their clients' goals and workouts, but they do it in a way that is not intimidating or feels too serious. I love The Grind! Thank you so much for all the great work-outs, Nick!!!!!! I highly recommend The Grind.

    The Grind has been an awesome addition to our daughter's athletic goals as she gets ready for high school. She began working with Nick during her off season and the results are showing.  Her speed and strength are already improving. Nick is awesome...he keeps her challenged and very motivated. She looks forward to every session. The atmosphere of the gym is not intimidating at all (all ages and levels) and very clean. The entire staff is very supportive.
