I been coming to this park every Friday as I do medical transport from Sedalia. I just found out that Micky mantle owned the old hotel here. This is my kind of rest area.

Eventhough this park floods quite frequently, this is still a great place to go for all outdoor activities. Multiple picnic area's (covered and not), basketball court, tennis courts, playground area, camping and fishing to just name a few great things. It may be located right off of a busy road but it is still peaceful and who wouldn't like that. Take a day and visit this place, relax a little!

In these photos the water is down quite a bit more than normal. You can camp, play at the park, swim and there are shower and bathroom facilities as well. Overall a decent little spot to visit. It can get a little loud at night from the traffic over the bridge but it's not terrible. The female camp site attendant was not my favorite person in the world, nor my husband's, but hey...

Many places to camp and good fishing spots too! Multiple play grounds even basketball court. Winter pictures don’t do it justice. Just a great place to come with the family so come on over and check it out!!

This park is run by the City of Forsyth and sits directly on Bull Shoals Lake. The campground is a real bargain. There are 8 full service RV spots and a lot more spaces with electric and water. There is a shower house and public restroom for tent campers. There is also a boat ramp. There are some beautiful views. We stay here a lot and enjoy it.

It holds a special.place in my memory having fished here for so many years. That said the park is struggling due to the fact that the US Army Corp of Engineers has pretty much ruined it. By adding an additional 5 feet of water to the power pool of Bull Shoals lake, they have pretty much assured that the park will be flooded during any and every calendar year. Sometimes, as in 2020. For a better part of the year. Yes, I am taking this opportunity to get on my soap box, but I feel it is important. The Corp needs to understand how their trivial decisions can bring economic ruin to small communities such as Forsyth. The Corp needs to reverse this decision and return the lake to its previous level. Thanks for listening.

Shadow Rock Park is a campground and park in Forsyth, MO. The campground has 110 campsites. Most have water and 50 amp electrical hookups. The park also has a playground, picnic tables, an arena, pavilions, and a ball field. The fishing is supposed to be excellent but I haven't had a chance to try it here.

Great place for me to fish and the kids to play in the park.Take advantage of it not being under water!
