One of my fav place to go in the area, you can find a Walmart, fitness center, restaurants, nail salons, and my favorite store of mof the best gamestops in the area with friendly staff and a great selection of games and action figures

Strip mall with a Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, Game Stop, Dollar Tree, Planet Fitness and a few others. Parking is good except by the Walmart. It gets very congested especially on weekends.

Nice food court that has added more restaurants since the last time I was at the mall. Very few closed store fronts.

The Walmart is here, so that's good. However, a collapsing retaining wall threatens the main road up to the parking lot and the road has been closed for almost two years. It makes it so inconvenient to get to the Walmart. They need to fix it.

Walmart at this plaza is awful. The people that work in the store are rude. You ask for help from someone on the floor they tell you wait a minute I'm busy or they walk away tell you they'll be right back and never come back. We are physically disabled and had to wait an hour for a disability scooter.They only have 2 working ones in their store, the other one has been broken for 5 months sitting there with an out of order sign.when we ask why we have to go through this their manager Mike said " Because you people don't know how to drive them " I guess when he referred to us as "you people" , that is what he calls the shoppers with physical disabilities. 🤷. My elderly mother who could barely hold herself up on her walker anymore after waiting so Long for a disability scooter was nearly crying and the same manager named , Mike told her she shouldn't stand in the way of the doors inside because she was blocking the entrance even though she was off to the side by courtesy desk., then he told us maybe we shouldn't come there and to shop online instead.RUDE ,RUDE,RUDE !!! THIS MAN HAS NO BUSINESS DEALING WITH CUSTOMERS , HE MADE US FEEL LIKE UNWANTED TRASH . MY MOM WAS SHAKING & CRYING WHEN WE LEFT THE ROCKAWAY WALMART AND WE WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. OH ALMOST FORGOT, IF YOU GO THERE BRING AN OXYGEN TANK BECAUSE THE EMPLOYEES SMOKE CIGARETTES BY THE FRONT ENTRANCE AND YOU CANT BREATHE.

About 3 years on this location. I have to say for the first time I feel so confortable with the newest staffs. So welcoming and always smiling ans answering questions.. the BEST trainer they had in years is Sneha Dutta. WAO I feel amazing working out with her. She is a truly professional and make sure each individual achieve their goals based on their needs. She is a KEEPER. Highly recommend this location, always clean and amazing service. Thanks

I visit here often to stop at Dollar Tree and Walmart mainly. I never knew it was called Market Place at Rockaway until I clicked to contribute more reviews. It's your basic shopping plaza like most others and nothing stands out to me. During busy hours, it is very congested so I try going during times that are less crowded.

I have never been a huge fan of Walmart. But my visit yesterday was terrible. I use their handicap carts. There were 2 available, both in desperate need of maintenance. Tried to find someone to tell however I suspect my comments were written off as a nuisance based on the associates behavior. In addition, of the 10 items we needed, they had 1. We left without buying anything.

Shopped at Macy's. They had a decent selection but the escalator to the downstairs has been broken for over 2 weeks. They would make more sales if there was more than just one elevator to get down. I am a regular Macy's shopper and usually shop both floors.

Parking was great not too crowded
