Hidden gem in downtown Hopkins. Beer list was great, but they go deep on whiskey and bourbon. Chicken Drummies were HUGE and the Bourbon Street Pasta had great flavor. My favorite is the Brisket Grilled Cheese - amazing! The service is superb, the wait was short, and the food was hot and fresh. Hate sharing, but definitely give this place a try.

So let me start off by saying the food and service were 5 stars. As other reviews have mentioned, for bar food it is quite expensive but if the food and service are excellent, probably worth it. The reason for only 4 stars is because of the 5% addition to the total bill for "Employee Health Benefit". REALLY?? 18.00 and 20.00 for our two burgers and you add another 5% my bill so the owners of the business can feel better about themselves because they are paying health insurance for their employees?? At least have the decency to spell this out clearly at the top of your menu.

Never would I have thought a vegan grilled cheese with cherries and apples would taste good but I also never thought Trump would become President. I would like to go back and try the vegan chicken sandwich. Good fries too!

We decided to try the bowls tonight and wow, they did not disappoint. Can't wait to come back to try even more entrees. Our server was absolutely incredible. He was attentive and very personable.

Full house on a Wednesday evening! They must be doing something right. Brief wait to be seated, as could be expected. Nice selection of beers on tap and a long list of canned brews. Efficient and knowledgeable staff and crew, who worked together to make for an enjoyable evening. Varied patrons of age, color and culture, which was pleasant. Located on Main Street in Hopkins. Sports bar type with many screens to watch and lots of comfortable food choices to select from the menu. Generous portions and fair prices.

Stopped in on our visit to Hopkins - they have a super cute dog patio but didn’t have the puppers with us - my Cuban was super tasty - staff was very friendly - would definitely go back.

Great food and Whiskey list! We originally came downtown Hopkins to get some chicken wings at the Wild Boar, but since the game was playing that place was PACKED. So instead we walked 3 minutes to Pub 819 and we’re so glad we did. The service was superb. Our waitress was great, she would always come around when we needed something and never lingered for too long (like some servers do). We ordered beer, dry rub chicken tenders (because they dont have traditional wings) and the Hot Chic sandwich with fries, which cost an extra $1 and you only get a handful. The tenders were some of the best chicken tenders I’ve ever had because they were so juicy. Really tasty white meat and the dry rub was good too, though a little peppery if your not use to spice. The hot chic and fries were good too, not the absolute best I’ve ever had but still tasty.

Food is Great, and the Service was Good

Great place to go with pretty good attention to detail. It's frequented by a lot of business-people as it's near a business park, which can detract from the atmosphere - but you'll see plenty of families and dates as well. Good food, pretty good service, and they've got your classic fried up apps of course. Their specialty is whiskey, they have A MASSIVE list broken down by location (Ireland, Scotland, Kentucky, etc.). It's a cool specially, definitely give one of the whiskeys a go if you're keen!

We are in town visiting friends and stopped in for lunch. Ellsworth, WI Cheese Curds is so good. I never had it. It is delicious. Everything we ordered was great. Good food and fantastic service. We have never been to Hopkins, MN. This was a nice foodie experience!

Year-round dog-friendly heated Pawtio! This place isn't just dog-friendly, they are dog lovers! We were comfortable, even though it was about 10 degrees outside. The staff brings out a mat and water bowl for each dog. We gobbled down a plate of tater tot nachos, then shared a burger and sangria -- highly recommend all of it! Our frenchie loved the oatmeal, peanut butter cookies!!

We sat in the back patio area. It's quieter than the street-side outdoor area. It's been recently upgraded to make it more of 3 season/weather agnostic area and has a nice, chill vibe. I always love that they have a variety of food "genres"... And they seem to be good at each. I had Tuna poke bowl and my friends had one of the burgers (I had some of the fries 😊). I also appreciate the selection of craft cocktails plus good GF options, clearly identified on the menu. #glutenfree

Great service and great modern atmosphere. Our food came out before our drinks came out for one and the portion size for protein in the yum yum bowl was very limited, however food tasted really good. Imagine 4 small pieces... Have ordered the same thing at the block which is owned by the same people and the food was slightly better at The Block. This place is fantastic to bring dogs and has their own dog menu. Will be back but not eagerly. Young adult scene but also family-friendly. If You're looking for a spot for a few drinks on the covered patio in the summer this is a great option.

Stopped in for a couple of drinks and food before running over to see a band at Mainstreet Grill. We sat at the bar and ordered. Food and apps were excellent and the bartenders were very attentive. They also have a small smoke chamber if you want your old fashions or bourbon shots to have that smokey taste. Very nice place!

First time here. It’s a large bar for the size of the restaurant. Felt like a good neighborhood walking in. Great selection of bourbon and reasonably priced. We ordered the Brisket Nachos. Highly recommended. Next we ordered the chicken strip sandwich and brisket grilled cheese. The brisket grilled cheese was amazing. Service was fantastic. We Will definitely be back. Quickly jumped to one of our top choices when we go out.

We went there for the vegan burgers -- and they did not disappoint! More of an American-style pub (lots of bourbon barrels and bourbon bottles festooning the walls). We were there in the late afternoon on a Monday -- it was quiet, and we liked that.

Beautiful evening sitting on the "Paw"tio - yes, a dog-friendly patio complete with dog-friendly entrees!! Fantastic, friendly staff and great food, I highly recommend this establishment.

I hate leaving a negative remark but they asked for my opinion. Was a huge fan before Covid. Had burgers, they seemed premade frozen came out well done no flavor onion rings soggy and doughy. Maybe when things open up more and they are busy they can bring back the great food. Staff was good.

We met with friends at this place for lunch. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was a winning. The crew were extremely nice and we had a great feeling. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Keep it up.

Great pub food with an excellent selection of beers and whiskey. They offer a front and back patio and they staff is always friendly when I’ve visited. They’re cocktails tend to have a higher price point but they are usually great. They also offer trivia on certain nights of the week, along with plenty of tv’s if you’re looking for somewhere to watch a game.

Pub 819 food has always been hit or miss since it has opened. It is a bit more “upscale” than other restaurants on Main Street. The owners decided to give their employees health insurance (win!). However, they did it in a sneaky way via fine print at the bottom of the menu. Imagine my surprise when I had an extra line on our bill. We are all suffering from the high cost of healthcare. Much like a hospital, you have to read the fine print at Craft N Crew restaurants to understand how much you will ACTUALLY be billed. I may return, but the health care surcharge will be taken out of my tip (the waitress still receives the net benefit).

Met a friend there for a couple drinks, had never been before, nice casual but intentional atmosphere. As we were leaving they started trivia night I guess? Seemed like it would've been fun. Very yummy drinks and appetizers as well. Tried 2 different drinks. I cant remember their names. Had cheese curds and stuffed mushrooms as well at our table, they were both delicious. Would reccomend.

This pub is located in a cute little old school downtown part of Hopkins. There is no parking lot (as far as I know), but plenty of open street parking in front/nearby the pub. The service is always quick and friendly. The food is by far one of my favorite pub/bar to eat. The food tastes freshly made from scratch. The Korean BBQ boneless wings are some of my favorite; they're not made with heavy batter and perfectly tossed in the sauce. The sauce is sweet with a kick and offset the spice with blue cheese dressing - mmmMmMm! Cheese curds are that light batter kind of curds with some interesting spicy jam - I prefer marinara, but the jam... jams! The Tachos are pretty delish as well! The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the Caesar salad. I will be going back to try more food and update! :)

We stumbled upon this place purely by chance, and we come here fairly often ever since. The food is great, we've liked everything we've tried. We love the Craft and Crew Old Fashioned and the Maker's Manhattan with the select Maker's Mark. The service and atmosphere are both always great as well. This place made us try the rest of the Craft and Crew restaurants.

Fantastic food with bold flavors and combinations! I had the Hot Chic Sandwich and the Brussel Sprouts and it was so good. Ambiance is relaxed and modern, and the waitstaff was relaxed but professional! Highly recommend!

A fabulous Sunday brunch at #Pub819 in their covered patio. We could have sat indoors but we wanted to enjoy the great autumn weather. We had Bloody Marys with the Huevos Ranchero and Breakfast Burrito. Both were big servings with plenty to take home for another meal. We will be going back soon.

Used to love this place a lot and come here often, specifically since they offered GF burgers/sandwiches. On our most recent pickup, we found there no longer was an order option for gluten free, so my girlfriend ordered a Yumyum bowl. Drove 10 minutes each way to pick up, only to find they didn't give us the Yumyum bowl with the rest of the food. Called in and it was another 25 minutes to remake food. Got to the reataurant and waited another 10 minutes to get the food (35 minute wait total). Finally got home and sat down to eat. Unfortunately the burgers must have been the thing to get, as my girlfriend couldn't eat more than half of the yumyum bowl due to undercooked egg, overcooked steak, and the flavor of the sauce, which made it nearly inedible. Anyways, we have had good experiences here, but we will be taking a bit of a break after this experience.

Went to Linner (3pm ish) .We sat in front. It was a little cool, but we dressed the part. Hot Chic sandwiches make other "chicken sandwiches" look like a cheap knock off. This one is FIRE.

But we will be back because it was a good puppy friendly dining experience.

The steak here is delicious the first time I came this place barely had opened the steak was way too salty for my taste and overcooked for what I had ordered. I gave it a while before I gave it another chance or was set in my review and oh my goodness I’m def coming back! The steak was perfect and juicy this time no wonder it’s so hard to get seating. The customer service also was good it could have been better but it was swamped so it’s understandable. All in all def recommend and def coming back!

This spot has awesome food for sure but service here is far below par. If you're looking for some tasty pub food served to you after an hour and 15 minutes of waiting, then subsequently served to you with a frown and attitude, then ask for Nickolle and wait for destiny to take you on a disappointing spiral to unfulfillment. I would definitely eat here again if I could have the food taken directly off of the grill and spatula'ed into my mouth.

Ordered the taco platter and chips and salsa on a Monday night. The food came out cold and didn't taste good at all. The chip basket was about 1/2 filled and with mostly broken chips. Daughter ordered the mac and cheese which was also cold. The staff was not friendly or welcoming. Maybe we were there on an off night but we won't be returning. We ended driving to downtown Nisswa for the rest or our meals.

Well the hostess was phenomenal and she was the one that after seating us and over three minutes of REAL TIME - I timed it- she brought us water and said our server would be right there, who happened to end up being the bartender who was not thrilled to have to come out from behind the bar! Our food was okay…. Burger and it’s temperature was wonderful!! The sweet potato fries were cold and we had to flag someone down to get them reordered. We were not offered dessert and we were given the check in a very perfunctory way!! Will not be back, a shame.

Nice place but I did not find it to be a special place. Atmosphere was part sports bar and part nice restaurant. Went with two friends. We had drinks and an appetizer followed by dinner. Their food looked good but unfortunately my fish and chips missed the mark. The fish was over fried and the batter tasted burnt. The fish inside was delicious but you had to peel the crunchy outside shell away. I ate one of the two pieces of fish and didn't take the other one with me. I let my waiter know and he issued a polite apology but no offer to fix it or to write off part of the meal. Being Minnesota, I also did not request any of that. I probably would go back if someone else suggested it but I would not be the person to take others there.

Food is displayed beautifully and taste combinations are absolutely delicious. Cocktails are unique, yet simple enough to be consistent in flavor and garnishing with any bartender. The atmosphere, where do I start? It's a perfect balance. Light levels are balanced well throughout the space, wood tones give a relaxing vibe, and details of the decor are subtle and interesting enough to hold your attention. Perfect place for a family meal, a casual business meeting, or to catch a game with friends. Why three stars? There is an added surcharge to all tabs "to cover additional expenses that allow Pub 819 to provide a full range of benefits to their employees." When I see a line like this on my bill I'm immediately turned off from a venue. This is a super tacky way for a restaurant owner to increase revenue. Employee satisfaction and retention is not the responsibility of the customer in any business. If a restaurant needs more revenue, for ANY reason - increase prices. The difference between a $17 to $18 entrée and $12 to $13 cocktail isn't going to turn me away; tacky cash grabs tied to a management sob story absolutely will.

Large whiskey, bourbon, scotch etc. selection. Some great cocktails. Burgers were alright. Note.. when you ask for a burger with pink.. it's almost all pink. If you want it cooked medium rare or more. Ask for no pink. There is no fine middle line. Fries were amazing. Cocktails were great. Gluten options are very limited. And even the things that are listed as "gluten friendly" be extra careful if you are a celiac. Deep fried foods listed "gf" are not safe, no segregated fryer. Staff was great, they were understaffed when we went and they were still rockstars!

My top spot to eat at in Hopkins. Today we hit it up for Sunday Brunch. Service, Food, Space all get that 5 stars. Love myself a Bloody Mary and the bloodies here are one of my favs. You can also buy a bottle of their mix.

The food was very good. I had a grilled cheese with raspberries and nutella. A Raspberry festival menu option. The waiter was excellent. We all had a green tea shot first. It was good also.

Have dined in multiple times and loved the food and the atmosphere. The service is pretty slow but it's usually alright. Tonight I called to ask if I could order the half price wings to go the waitress said that we could and gave me my total of about $18. When I show up to pickup my order they tell me it's $36 since the special is only dine in. They checked with the manager and insisted that they could not change the price. I understand that it's not the waitress fault but if I had been told that it's a dine in special only I would have dined in. I was quoted a price and I expected it to be honored. If this place had better service it would be my favorite bar.

Pub 819 has been our favorite restaurant/bar since we moved to the area! The food is always amazing and the staff are equally, if not more amazing. I highly recommend trying it out! They have a beautiful outdoor patio area too, if you want to bring your dogs along.

Customer service is excellent! Food is outstanding and the ambiance is so classy and so well done in the “pawtio” My dog loved the chicken and the frozen beef marrow bone! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I’m watching the World Series & the bar switched the TV’s to a basketball game…. REALLY! This is the World Series… needless to say I left and my tip reflected my feelings!!! And their internet was messed up… bar tender said to ignore the need for a password and it will skip it… it didn’t…had to go outside to get a connection…😡 Brussel sprouts are some of the best I have ever had. Steak bites had gristle. And not great…

My wife and I stopped in with only a short time to grab a bite to eat; the staff was helpful in the extreme! We shared an Old Fashioned Burger, which is absolutely fantastic btw. Highly recommend this place.
