What a great place to visit. This park/nature reserve is full of amenities for all seasons. The reserve is quite large so there are many miles of hiking/biking/ and horse riding trails. There is a giant playground and picnic area with a swim hole. They have a few camping options and an amazing nature center. There is an excellent dog park as well.

I had a great time hiking out here. I was surprised by the little amount of people hiking.

A great place for outdoor fun! Skiing (cross country and downhill), snowboarding, and tubing all at one place! The tuning has a conveyor belt that you stand on to go back up the hill! It’s a lot of fun, you need to go check this place out if you ski, snowboard, or tube.

Beautiful park with a lot of things to do all year around. Winter facilities are really good, particularly for cross country skiing and snowboarding.

Very clean unique play area. Our kids range from youngest being 2 to oldest being 5 and was so much for them all to do and enjoy. I even enjoyed some of the slides. Nice picnic tables spread about and clean restrooms to use if needed. Definitely will need to go back and explore more of the park.

Tubing is still open during the pandemic, but reservations are required (available two weeks in advance). We got ours two weeks in ahead since the weekends fill up very quick and it's in two hour reservations. Nice that it's a magic carpet to the top and not a tow rope. The runs aren't super long, but still fun. They limit the number of people in tubing chains.

We went here for the huge off-leash dog park, and it did not disappoint! The park charges $6.45 for a day pass, but it was definitely worth it. The small dog area was unfortunately full of big and rowdy dogs, so we went to the off leash area, where Pablo had a blast. There’s a large pond area, which we all loved. Most dogs were super friendly and didn’t mind his small size. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely stop by again.

What a fun place for winter fun- especially the snow tubing hill. The "magic carpet" is especially helpful for the kids and getting them back to the top of the hill. The divided lanes & plentiful staff on hand kept everyone safe. Good warming house with food & snacks!

This place has very friendly staff and the park is absolutely beautiful and huge! They also have shuttle busses so you don’t have to walk from the overflow lot which we loved. The drivers were also great! Overall great experience!

Great place to bike, hike, walk, or enjoy with your kids. Great areas to picnic, walk your dog off leash, swim, and a nice playground. Especially great for fall leaf viewing. Do the north loop for a longer path. Connects to the Medicine Lake Regional Trail.

50 degrees on Christmas and day after the privilege is glaring at this patch of chemical snow. No color around . Elm creek Park does a wonderful job of excluding the general public. I teach in area and the population using your park is of a demographic that simple does not match the community. This are gives off a whites only vibe big time. It very white the people ALL THE EMPLOYEES. And the land. Coated in white chemical infused snow. Free for all says your sign. Except for the unpaid activities- those areas are marked closed. Free for all only if you have $$$ To buy skis and boots and poles To rent them Free for all- MUST PAY FOR SKI PASS.

We just moved to the edge of the preserve and it’s been amazing. We’ve barely even scratched the surface of all the benefits and amenities available. Long walks on the various trails have been so great and we can’t wait to do more exploring over the coming weeks.

Because of the lack of snow the lighted ski paths are open to walkers. Beautiful! If you go try to walk with the lights, not against them.

Love this little gem in maple grove. Park is always clean and plenty to do. Their snowmobile paths are great and not just flying across fields. Good tree paths and nice views.

The nature center was lovely as always! I grew up going here and now I have the honor of sharing it with my fiance. I absolutely love this area. The weekend we went was the World Bird Migration Day I believe. There were lots of tables set up with volunteers exhibiting bird artifacts, photos, and more. The nature center building was open so we got to explore! We made a turtle friend that was deeply intrigued with me and/or my phone.

If I could live in a tent in the woods of Elm Creek Park, I would consider it. I love this place.. so much to do, well maintained trails, a fantastic playground for the kids, swim pond, skiing, horseback riding, frisbee golf and more. Growing up outside of MN I can say we’re truly lucky to have places like this around the Cities. It’s a gem.

Be transported to nature when you enter the Elm Creek Park Reserve. Lots of trails to hike, run, ride a bike, or horse back ride. Large play area, disk golf, pool, and the Eastman Nature Center...a place where kids and adults can learn.

We use the dog park. It is a great place to play with other dogs. I just wish all of the humans were more considerate about cleaning up.

Can't say enough good things. Every time of year. This place is 10/10. Tons to do at all sides of this park. Love the Eastman Nature Center for kids and families as well as the little outdoor mud/snow kitchen. They also have spare coats and mittens which is seriously amazing. And free binoculars to check out and bird watch. The mountain biking area is super fun and there are beginner paths for people that want to take it slow, or kids. XC skiing on both sides of the park but the "far side"/back is much quieter. Groomed for classic.

Fantastic trail system for every use. We've enjoyed hiking and skiing Around some of the higher-use areas, and enjoyed running and/or hiking a mile or so to escape the other groups of people. Accessible for every age and ability!

I absolutely LOVE this dog park. Most of the dogs are incredibly well behaved and there to have a good time. And the owners too! 🤣 The walking trails are really well kept and the open area is nice too. I also really love that they lock up the pond if the water quality is bad.

Awesome area for biking, swimming and play ground. The bike trails are well maintained and signed. There is also a Frisbee golf and mountain bike courses. Not to mention camping and plenty of places to rent for events. Favorite place for all things summer.

Great park. Walked there with a friend on Saturday for over 7 miles. Liked that we could just keep going and get our steps in. We did the unpacked to stay away from the crowds. Was nice to see the water, woods, prairie, bridges, etc. and had no clue they were making snow for the cross country skiers. That was packed. Only issue is their trails need better marketing’s. The pdf files and the maps on site do not name the paths. Yet there are path signs with names. And, nothing tells you how long a trail is. How hard is that to do?

Campers Cabin accommodates Max 6 slim people. Else 4 people can stay comfortably. The only ceiling fan speed is very low, worthless on hot humid night. Rest rooms are clean, but no water. Also at night no light in the rest rooms.

Came here many times as a kid with my family and always enjoyed it, but had a chance to visit earlier this year for the first time as an adult. I was pleased to see it's still in good shape. Nice walking and biking trails and nice visitor center.

Dog park is a nice feature. They need more dog waste disposal containers located throughout the park. They have one at the main gate and Sunday Jan 10 it was overflowing.
