My sister and I drove down from London to visit this store as I saw some posts on AnjliLookBook's Insta and wanted to get a few mix and match bits for a wedding. The variety of print, colours and sizes available are great. The quality of some products is poor. I tried on a few things and was covered in glitter. I have many glittery items and they do not shed in this way. The sequin blouses were very uncomfortable and left me scratched up. I have recently purchased sequin top/blouses from Coast so I know that these can be made comfortably. The stitching is also not very good on the pieces I handled. I'd be interested to know how many wears you could get and how the garments would hold during dry cleaning etc. The cups are not stitched in, which may be purposeful. However, removable cups can still be designed with care (i.e. slits for cups to be removed/inserted like in gym wear). I left the store immediately after we took out a floral lengha skirt from the plastic packaging and for want of a better word, it absolutely stank. I've never experienced that before from Indian wear. I've only ever smelt something similar on black jeans but never on Indian wear. It just gave me the impression that it was made with cheap materials/dye. I emailed Nims boutique and DM'd on two occasions to provide an explanation but weeks later, I heard nothing back. Overall truly disappointing, but I did find everything I needed from a beautiful shop called Aarshi on Belgrave Road who I wrote a 5* review for.

Worst experience I've ever had shopping online. I ordered jewellery in November 2022. I haven't received my order to this day and didn't get any refund. It's impossible to reach anyone on the phone and they didn't reply to my last email. Last information I got from them was that royal mail postponed international deliveries which can't be true because I received other packages from UK without any problems. Definitely don't recommend buying anything online from them.

Visited Nims boutique yesterday and I loved the store. Not only is there countless options in all different sizes but the owner was honestly the nicest person, she helped us so much with finding different options. She never seemed irritated when I was trying on different outfits, if anything she was helping us decide and being complimentary. You can see why she is so successful! It’s the first time I could try something on in an Indian shop and feel comfortable. Thank you so much, love my outfit!

Nim’s Boutique is an absolute gem of a find! Didn’t know what to expect but was absolutely blown away by the amazing outfits, stunning jewellery and above all the incredible team! Hii! I came to store last weekend and bought two outfits for my wedding. This is the first time I’ve been to Nims; not only was the shop floor emasculate, the outfits were all drop dead gorgeous and I was absolutely spoiled for choice with various sizes you can try on (so glad someone’s finally acknowledged different body shapes)! The young girl who served us was an absolute pleasure as were all the other ladies in store including (it was so refreshing to have amazing customer service whilst shopping for Asian clothes!) I went for the first time today, and I can’t say this enough how brilliant the whole experience was. I’m a woman who doesn’t really like to dress up, I’m quite curvy and not so body confident but Nim and her new staff wish I got her name, just made me feel so comfortable and I must have tried 50 blouses but we got there in the end and found my right size. She was honest and truly knows what she’s talking about. She has great collections and colours to have fun with and couldn’t recommend her enough! Hope it helps someone to feel you aren’t going to get judged on your size which sometimes I do when I go to places like these. 🥰💫

Nims Boutique offers great customer service! I’ve visited and purchased items from the store a few times and I’ve always felt very welcome by the staff. They allow you to take your time when browsing the store and are really helpful in offering advice.

Love Nims for unique; good quality; individual bright & beautiful clothing, shoes; handbags; jewellery & accessories. Nim is friendly, warm, welcomming, knowledgeable & honest. If something doesn't fit right or suit your colouring & style she'll advise you accordingly. It's not about the selling & revenue; it's more the experience & individuality that brings you in. Have visited Nims from when it was located on Upperton Rd; then larger premises on Narborough Road. Was happy to see her re-locate to the City Centre Market Steeet shop with two floors which really showcase the spectacular pieces on display. Have often visited to purchase items including clutch handbags; bracelets, sequin style body tops; and yesterday 29th July 2023 when Nim was having a rare day off purchased a gorgeous red & gold bangle box & emerald green zig zag patterned mirror edged Dupatta fir my upcoming trip to Morocco in India. Would highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for a bit of sparkle, bright coloured; beautiful items that can be worn daily or for a unique one off piece to wear.

I would like to thank Nim and her staff in helping me and my sister purchase our beautiful outfits. We travelled up from London arriving overwhelmed (and hungry :-) with where to start, sizes, looks etc. The shop is was easy to navigate around and clean, arrived with a lovely welcome as we entered, very good selection. Nim herself gave us tips and her honest opion and very knowledgeable with creative helpful suggestions. We purchased x2 outfits and jewllery that made the outfits lift and bring them alive even more. From someone who avoids Asian clothes shops this for me has been far my best experience, personalised, relaxed, enjoyable and down to earth staff. Really excellent quality clothes and jewellery and the customer service is exceptional. I needed delivery of some items urgently and Nim went out of her way to ensure I got my package on time! Great customer service - really friendly and helpful. The range was beautiful and included styles I haven't been able to find anywhere else! The skirt and scarf I bought was perfect for my wedding, and I'll be keeping an eye on their online range for future occasions.

In June I ordered a blouse and needed to exchange it for another size. The store use to be based in Greent Street, London and when I found out that they had moved to Leicester I was so gutted!! I was a little apprehensive about purchasing my jewellery online, but was so surprised at how quick my items were delivered to me. I found out about Nim’s when I was getting married and made the journey there from London. The team was so friendly and helpful, it was such a nice experience. Ever since then, I’ve ordered lots of stuff online - from clothes to jewellery. Whenever I’ve needed more info I’ve always called or emailed and been surprised at how nice the staff always are! Definitely not the same experience in other Asian shopping areas (like southall where people are NEVER friendly 😂). Lovely clothes, beautiful jewellery and super nice team. Recommend!

Really impressed with the service and quality of the clothing sold by Nims Boutique. I have only ordered online, not in store, but the process was painless, the website and sizing information was easy to select and even where I had to return an item it was accomodated with no issues. Had such a lovely experience shopping at nims boutique today. I was offered an exchange when I wasn’t entirely happy with my original purchase which I brought online and the staff members were so helpful when I attended the store. They helped me choose a new outfit with matching jewellery and were very patient when I was being indecisive! Would highly recommend!

Nim's Boutique is a great store in the heart of the city of Leicester. Nim and the staff are super helpful and helped me with finding the perfect outfits and matching jewellery for my cousin and niece's weddings recently. The ability to mix and match outfits was fantastic and have clothes which fitted with minimal tailoring requirements. I could try everything on and felt really comfortable too in the shop which gives you a fab feeling when shopping.
