It’s okay… doesn’t feel POC friendly at times. Upon entering the office you feel as if you’re bothering them with any questions or request you may have. I use to pay my rent by going down to the office but because of the uncomfortablenesses you feel when entering I decided to just pay the rent online to not be a bother.

I thought I could call this place “home”. It ended up being a place of empty promises, loud construction, employees avoiding phone calls, service requests not getting completed, hot tub/pool construction, loud neighbors, and staff members who have no empathic nature towards those with disabilities. If you’re looking for your home, this is far from it. If you’re neurodivergent, or have family with autism, deafness, TBI, etc…avoid this complex at all costs. The tears you saved will thank you later.

Honestly, I am not the most perfect applicant. I do have troubled credit but I make up for it in great rental history and recommendations. I am a single mom who got out of a DV relationship with my child’s father. I do not receive any assistance and I do it all on my own. This is 100% not a sob story or anything like that. But I personally felt like the staff here were very rude and did not care. I asked them what I needed to move in, I offered to have my dad co-sign for me, for my friend to move in and be on my lease to up my income(even though I make 2.5x the rent on my own) I was willing to pay double the deposit. I just needed help. They don’t seem to really want to help or work with tenants. Which is totally fine. But if you are looking for an apartment and need someone to help you and work with you this is not the place for you unfortunately. Which is so sad because it would have been perfect for me and my daughter.

This place is garbage The staff are rude and the apartments are gross. Oh and your car WILL be broken into. Good luck

I have been living here for 1 month now and I’m in love for this place and for the people. The complex is really clean, quiet and organized. Neighborhoods are very nice and friendly. Jaylene and other office’s people are very efficient and friendly as well. Maintenance is fast and really efficient. Amenities are the best, I’m always going to swim and use the hot tube. My daughter just really loves it and she made a lot of new friends to play around. If you are looking for a safe, clean place with polite people and a family environment, I definitely recommend to live here. ❤️

They required more move-in documents than any other apartment I have ever lived at, but I actually appreciate their thoroughness in ensuring they are finding the right people to live here. Jaylene, the assistant manager, was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire application process and move-in was a breeze. I appreciate the ability to communicate to the staff via text. The apartment was in mint condition when I moved in, it is quiet, and the location is very convenient. I looked online at almost every apartment complex in the Sacramento Area to find one that had good reviews, no reports of cockroach infestations, and was still affordable, and The Cottages checked all of the boxes. Thus far, I am very pleased and have no complaints.

Clean and quiet ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is our first apartment and definitely there was no better option. Management is nice and the amenities are amazing. Happy to be here and call it our first home after we get married in October this year!! Thank you for the welcome gift box 😄

I just love all the staff at the cottages! Shelby, Jaylene, Tony, Horacio and Teresa are all so friendly and helpful! Whenever I need something I get it right away! I love living here and will recommend it to others.

The Cottages was a great place to live. I was going through a transition in my life. I basically had to start all over. The management/maintenance were always available for me - very effective and efficient. If it wasn't for the fact that I moved in with my girlfriend, I would still be there.

Everything went very well moving in we are very grateful to be here. Everyone was super nice. What a great place to live. Love our new place!

After a long couple months of searching for an apartment I couldn’t be happier to settle at the cottage apartments due to their amazing service and clear information and step-by-step process provided by Jaylene Henry. She made us feel at home as soon as we were handed the keys, she walked us through the apartments and let us know about the do’s and don't at The Cottages. The staff and apartment community is great. Very well kept quiet and maintenance was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely refer potential renters to this Apartment Community. From the beginning I have had nothing less than professionalism from the staff. I just moved in over the weekend and the apartment is PERFECT. Was warmly greeted with a new doormat and welcome basket, AND some nice cold beverages waiting for me in the fridge, AND some ice in the freezer. I'm looking forward to calling The Cottages My Home for a while.

I love The Cottages! I’ve lived here for 4 years now and couldn’t be happier. The location is perfect, close to Folsom Lake, the river, hiking trails, shopping, honestly everything you need is close by. They have a ton of guest parking too which is nice. It’s always quiet here too, I never hear my neighbors. I even referred my family to move in here as well!

Jaylene and Shelby have been amazing. The move-in process was easy and the gift basket in my unit was a great surprise. Throughout the application process, their communication was impeccable. I am excited to call The Cottages my new home.

I cannot express well enough how wonderful this experience has been working with Alicia and Shelby. While I didn't qualify for the unit we wanted, they didn't give up but rather looked outside the box and found we could qualify for a different one. That extra effort saved us and we could not be more grateful. They even left cold drinks in the fridge and a welcome basket with all the cleaning necessities needed for starting at a new home. You will have zero regrets, please consider this to be your new home.

Tony is always great at completing the maintenance requests. He’s nice and professional and I trust him in my apartment.

Moved out here from LA leaving all my family behind. Felt like a scary experience at first but after arriving and seeing our newly remolded home and meeting the super friendly management team of The cottages apartments things just felt so much better. Not only was the customer service over the top but you can tell right away security is a top priority for them. Which made me and my family feel super safe. So many beautiful smiles greeting us in the front office and they even left my family and I a welcome home basket with refreshments in our fridge ! Super incredible experience so far ! Our unit was extremely clean and they have so much to offer here ! Thank you Alicia for helping me during the application process and thank you to our manger Shelby for greeting us and helping us on our move in. Thank you to the Entire Cottages apartments team !

Tony (the maintenance guy) did an amazing job with the work order request that I submitted!! He is very clean and professional.

Just moved in a few weeks ago, and it's feeling like home. The Management is super nice and helpful. We have had to have a few small things repaired and the maintenance has been very helpful.

The maintenance team here at the cottages are friendly and very helpful. I’m so great full they are available anytime. My AC went out on our 110 degree day and on of the gentleman came and fixed the problem within the hour thank goodness

I've been at The Cottages for almost 6 years. The staff is great. My dryer went out, maintenance came and had a new washer and dryer the same day! The premises are nicely kept and it's quiet. Great place to live!

So me and my wife moved in at the end of June. Since being here we’ve had nothing but professionalism from the staff in the office and from the gentleman that do the maintenance. The apartment complex is very quiet and there’s no shady characters from what I see I’m glad they monitor who lives here pretty closely. My neighbors are awesome and very respectful. I would recommend this place to anyone!
