B & W Hotel is in the heart of Toowoomba and ideal for a visit to this lovely town/ city. It seems to be very new and has a grand entrance, lots of parking, a popular restaurant, Zacks, and bar (with very good food), 24 hour gym and gaming room. Our queen bed room was spacious, beautifully appointed with a very comfy bed and pillows, a very large TV (that was well placed), coffee pod machine and a well stocked mini bar (extra payment, of course!). The bathroom was very large with a spa tub, excellent towels and great water pressure. The breakfast buffet at $27 was very good, with a wide selection of items. The scrambled eggs (a test of a good buffet!) and bacon were excellent and the Nescafe pod coffee machine was good, but barista coffee was also available for an extra fee. Staff were friendly. Great place to stay if you are in Toowoomba!

Staff were so accommodating, friendly, and professional as it was an unexpected trip. They were able to get me a room with my 6 month old baby, also being able to keep my room if needed to stay another night. Great location so close to the hospital. Rooms were very neat, tidy, and clean. The room was great. Will definitely stay again. Your vehicle was safe and secure.

Immaculately clean hotel common spaces and rooms. Although smaller than other hotel rooms (this is obviously due to the age of this historic building), it was really beautiful. Quiet room and very comfortable bed. The bathroom was gorgeous too! This hotel isn’t just ‘Toowoomba nice’, it’s really nice! Staff were friendly and efficient at check-in.

I found the Burke & Wills a pleasant place to stay. In my most recent stay my husband had to have surgery 2 days in a row. Before surgery he also had to leave our car for both days to be serviced so I was without a vehicle also. He dropped me off at the hotel first and suggested that I get some breakfast , which I did at the hotel as much to fill the time in as anything. It was several hours to check-in and I was exhausted because I had no sleep the night before so I had no desire to go anywhere. I mentioned to the staff that if there was any possibility of being able to access my room if it was ready earlier. Our cases were secured in the hotel. They were kind enough to give me my room several hours earlier and even had my bags taken up for me. There are meals, drinks etc both in room and downstairs so there was no need to leave the hotel. The rooms are very small but well appointed. It was exactly what we needed and had I wanted to access the city centre it was very close

Came up for a sporting event. The room is small but very well appointed. It’s also very luxurious. Staff are very helpful. The restaurant have a great selection and are very generous proportions. It’s very centrally located to everything I needed.

We’ve stayed there for two nights. We enjoyed it, breakfast was good, coffee not our taste but available. The staff was friendly and organized a shortly planned additional night. Unfortunately they do not have a Steamer available. The hotel is close to the city centre and there is a mall close by. Rooms are clean and comfy. Also parking for hotel guests available. Overall a nice pleasant stay.

10/10 would recommend. The service received by Lynda today was excellent. An asset to the Burke & Wills Hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. I’ll be back again and recommending you to friends and family.

I've been here a couple of times for work functions and the food is always a disappointment. It's a lovely venue and you expect the food to be of similar standard. It's often nothing more than i could make at home. The dietary options are usually a one size fits all approach too which can be frustrating.

Just spent the weekend in the king deluxe room on the fifth floor . Excellent room - very clean, nice and spacious and great amenities. Location is perfect , allowing you to walk anywhere in town with ease .Arrived just after 18:00 on Fri night after a 3hr drive . Check in was fast and easy - staff were helpful and friendly . Ordered room service for dinner - it arrived in under 30mins , was hot and very tasty . Breakfast buffet was included with our package , and we both found it adequate. We'll definitely stay here again , and would recommend without hesitation to anyone looking for a country weekend away . 10/10

We stayed to attend a wedding on site. It is clean, fresh and modern traditional. The ceremony was not on site, but there are spaces (very good for wet weather) that people could get married in. Also there are outdoor spaces closeby where photos could be taken.

Great hotel, great location and staff very friendly. We have stayed before and liked this place so we came back however this time room cleaning was not good. Water had been opened and put back, cleaning sponge and soap left in bench, garbage bag placed in my bag, glasses not cleaned and bin not emptied. Not what you expect from a hotel like this. A huge shout out to the great service the girls on the front desk ...

We stayed in the Burke and Wills hotel on Monday the 12th of September and had an absolutely disgraceful experience. The bathroom was tiny, the room was filthy, it hadn't been vacuumed. There were no lamps by the bed and the room was so so small. We spoke to the manager Judi about it and she was so extremely rude and unhelpful saying that we should of booked a more expensive room. Breakfast was also very average, and the buffet wasn't even topped up, with staff saying they had too many room service orders to keep up. Location was good and parking was safe but after the experience we had with the manager and staff checking out it's hard to look at anything in a positive light.

Good sized, clean rooms with big picture window - ours overlooked the car park. Heating was efficient. Compact bathroom. Complex has Bar, Conference Room and Restaurant. Located in main street of Toowoomba. Quiet at night.

Stunning rooms, wonderful staff. Restaurant was delicious. We are locals and booked the room specifically to escape the kids and make use of the TV in the spa. We were celebrating a milestone birthday. The TV didn’t work so we were pretty disappointed given that was the whole reason we booked. We could have just stayed at home. I have made contact via email and have not had a response. I would love to have had a different experience.

We had the king deluxe room , it is very spacious and a nice big balcony. The bathroom has a spa and a waterproof tv which was nice . The overall experience is pretty good but a few things have let them down . 1- the breakfast is terrible DO NOT waste your money . Extremely poor ….. I cannot express this enough 2- I literally just got dinner delivered to the room at a cost of $120 and it was delivered stone cold . When I rang reception to inform them the lady said o well that’s a shame . That is not good customer service ! 3- the parking is limited so be sure to get in early otherwise you will not get a park If they fix the food and show a little empathy towards the guests it would certainly be a far more enjoyable experience

After a long day and nights drive, my partner and I were desperate to stop in Mt Isa and lay our heads. Unfortunately it was too early and everywhere we tried wasn't accepting anyone before lunch time. Graham at Burke and Will's however not only managed to offer us a room, but very graciously also accommodated some room for a trailer. Everything from the room and facilities, to the service was over and above what we could have hoped for, and we left there wishing we had time to stay longer. We can't thank Graham and the staff there enough for an amazing stay!

Lovely stay at Burke & Wills Hotel in the heart of Toowoomba! Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is close to cafes and shops. Room was small but comfortable and warm. One of the elevators was broken whilst we were staying (only 1 was operation for the whole hotel), but besides that, no complaints here!

Nice enough, better than the average motel. It has a revolving door- so it's fancy ,(but it's hard to push - I used side door mostly, even though I thought the revolving door was fancy and fun). Small single rooms full minibar. Nice restaurant, expensive morning coffees. Didn't seem to have undercover parking. I ended up parking in the hotels gaming section, not within the boomgates, however I could have but didn't really want the hassle of validating my ticket everytime I drive out. Change the jukebox for free in the bar Woot!

Ever passed off sitting on the toilet and fallen off? Rest assured it won’t happen here, a solid three millimetres between the edge of the toilet seat and the wall. Only thing that lets it down otherwise. Rooms very nice. Hotel staff very nice. Restuarant and bar below a bit pricey. Free guest laundry

Had a family breakfast there. Hot food was warm at best. Bacon was very average. Won't be back in a hurry.

What a great place to stay. We had a work conference, so once we were on site, we could walk into town and check out the restaurants. Buffet breakfast available. Not much space in the room fridge to add your own items.

Very tidy room, would recommend for anyone needing an overnight in the city. In the Corporate Queen room it's a bit cramped for any longer but the other room options do appear to correct this. Very happy with my experience with the rooms and bar. Great friendly service all around.

My husband and I went to Burke & Wills for the ‘breakfast buffet’ this morning for his birthday and to say it was a disappointment is an understatement. We have been to our fair share of buffets over the years and this takes the lead for being the WORST. Whilst yes the staff were friendly, the food was below average. When we arrived there was no one dining which should’ve been an instant red flag. The entire buffet is displayed on a on a table in the far corner. The food was cold. The “poached” eggs were COLD and HARD. My husband asked for scrambled eggs and while it was nice of them to make him some, it took about 30-40 minutes to come out just as we were about to leave. There was no bread (had to ask for some which they brought out later but told us to toast ourselves despite the waiter offering to toast it for us). There were 6 pastries displayed. No accomodation for any dietary requirements (ie diary free options). The single Juice dispenser was less than 1/4 full and was not refilled again during our 1 hour stay. Unfortunately this experience has ruined my husbands day and mine as this was suppose to be a nice birthday breakfast. I would NOT recommend this buffet breakfast to anyone and will never be returning again.

For a 4 star hotel very dissapointed. The introduction at first check in was horrible. We asked how to get the car in to the open carpark gave vague details. So had to work out. Did i say open. Dinner was terrible. Buffet no better. Two bites couldn't eat anymore. Honey soy chicken was amazing though. Worst part was no pressure and cold shower. Will not be going back

Pulled into the secure car park to find a drunk person throwing full cans of beer at cars. (Not too secure). Told staff and they said "hope he has gone". Booked a Deluxe room to find extremely small layout. Very small bathroom hidden behind door with tiny toilet and no room to move. Very small main room. Fridge sits directly onto carpet and hard to open fridge door. Not even a "How was your stay" when booking out. Very expensive stay for one night and very disappointed

Attended a 4 day training at this place. The conference rooms were very well set up and more importantly well lit. Both rooms had big windows making the day-long training less claustrophobic. Service was great and tables were very well done, clean and professionally presented. A bit of odd occasion, however once staff somehow decided to set up the coffee machine during the training with no forewarning which seemed odd. 😅 since it was rather loud and during those couple of mins we could barely hear the presenter. We were provided barista made coffee earlier that day which was a really nice gesture when it was noticed that the room's coffee machine is not set up. 👏 Plenty of parking space is available across the street and in shipping centres close by.

Noisy!! Rooms are the noisiest in town. You can hear their laundry shift at 1am onwards. Or your neighbours bathroom fan. Or the person above/below/next to you. Also be sure to close your bathroom door when while you sleep or the fan will keep triggering motion. This fan also turns off about 15 seconds into your shower so everything is fogged up. For the price, room size and noise level. Honestly not worth the stay. If you need the location then Oaks next door offers a much better, newer and larger noise free room. Been coming to Toowoomba for several years and stayed in them all. This is my least favourite experience.
