Lovely spot, room was spacious and clean. Easy to find our way around Toowoomba and very good Indian restaurant just up the road.

I recently stayed at the Applegum Inn and I was really impressed by the excellent service. I mistakenly made my booking for the wrong date, but the staff went out there way to accomodate me anyway.

They over charged my credit card for the room and put me in a room with free to air tv only without bothering to tell me. Make sure you get the price before you give them your card details and check if it's a room without Netflix etc etc. On top of all that they speak to you like you're a child. Their star rating must be from family and friends... avoid this place!

Lovely, friendly staff, very clean rooms, off street parking, quiet. Didn't get to use the swimming pool but I'm sure it is great. One of those beautiful little hide aways that need no advertising because the hospitality is fantastic and makes you want to go back. Free WiFi. Amanda in the front office is so lovely and very approachable. I'm going back again next week for another stay. Breakfast served to our room was amazing too. Sadly the restaurant isn't operating atm but when it does, there will be almost no reason to leave the grounds.

We found Amanda in office so, so helpful. Anything you ask her is not too much trouble. I'd recommend staying there & they have a restaurant for breakfasts, food is very good.

Came up to Toowoomba for a couple of days and stayed at the Applegum Inn. I was attracted to the location at the top of Margaret St. I used to live in Toowoomba and this is the nicest part of the city. The room was great, it was what I needed, and the service was great. I would recommend.

Great central spot. The hotel is in a lovely leafy suburb. It is dated but very clean with friendly staff. 👌

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Easy check in and no issues with travelling with a registered service dog. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

A good clean budget motel in a central but quiet location. Location was very good - just up the road from beautiful Queens Park & an easy stroll down to the CBD which has lots of dining options.

Reception not available due to public holiday. Toilet seat dirty. Brown stains on two of the big towels Noisy next door room and smoking so my room smelled like smoke. Fitting sheet on bed with several black/grey stains. Door not sealed so many insects coming in when lights were on. Overall facilities looking oldish $ 108 for one night for all of this. Overall, pay $20 extra and go to the next door motel

Clean room, comfortable bed and good value but lacking amenities - restaurant closed, office not open sometimes. Also photos of the motel (not hotel) don't show how many rooms are round the courtyard and all the tradies that stay there, leaving at 5-6am which is not when I want to be woken up when I'm on holiday!

Our room was nice, it was warm, clean and comfortable. Has covered car parking. It's fairly centrally located. Reasonably priced. Has free WiFi but virtually no signal, even phone signal was very poor. There's a small laundry for guests to use with washer and dryer. ($5 each load) All in all though a nice place to stay

Cant give any starts for service as I arrived at 5:10pm and there was no one around to check in. They left a code on my phone and my key 🔑 in a box. Never happened before and stayed there lots of time. No dining either....

Perfectly preserved well clean , even though we didn’t see the staff looks like they have professional experience to handle customers needs. Highly recommend! Good Job guys!

Room was clean, neat and tidy. Linen and towels smell fresh. Shower was great! The lady who accommodated us even if we were late was amazing! Thank you! We had a great stay and it was quiet inside the room we can't hear outside noises or from other rooms. I will definitely recommend.

The very best hot shower, great pressure, spacious rooms, very clean, loved my bed had to leave very early in the morning 5am I didn't want to go, parking out the front, lovely lady on check in, value for money night come back next, week just for a lazy break from rat race in Brisbane,

Stayed last year (2021) with my family and was very pleased with the service and the room itself. However, very I was very disappointed this year. Booked in March 2022 for Sept 2022 to come for Flowers Festival and upon arrival, after 3h of drive, was advised that my booking has been cancelled by the hotel. I have not received any prior notification re cancellation. Poor reason was given on spot too - change of the ownership etc....Had to drive late afternoon back home with 2 kids as no other places were available. very bad customer service!

Comfortable beds, neat and tidy room, excellent breakfast.

We stayed in the newly refurbished family room for 5 people. It was so wonderful being able to stay with all 3 kids in just one affordable 2 bedroom apartment rather than needing 2 separate rooms. It was clean, tidy, simple and enough space for everyone to have their own area. With kids 15, 6 and 2 it suited all of us. The kitchenette was great to prepare snacks in. We swam in the pool too which was lovely as it was salt water. At night we could open the windows which I appreciated because I don't sleep well under air conditioning. It was quiet and dark even with the windows open. The owners were very sweet as well. I can't recommend this place highly enough! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful place to stay, with beautiful people running it. The room was extremely clean, comfortable bed, and an amazing shower 😊 and covered parking right out front of the room,... we had arrived in Toowoomba quite late Xmas eve and everywhere was either shut or not answering our calls, these guys answered our call and were more than happy to come down and meet us to give us a room, they were super friendly and even supplied us with a microwave on request.. will definately stay here again 😊 thanks guys and may you and your family have a happy new year in 2022....

Room was nice and spacious the bathroom was very large great location close to town and great walking tracks at Queens Park. Undercover parking also.
