Fantastic Food, Service and Atmosphere. What an absolute delight to find this place on our second visit to Toowoomba. Absolutely delicious food. We enjoyed the pork belly bites, Fried Chicken, Beef Brisket, Potato Skins, Mac & Cheese with Bacon and the Corn sides. Service was faultless all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. So nice to visit a restaurant of this standard. Thanks guys.

What a great place!! The atmosphere here is very cool, great service and so quick for the meals to come out. Great options on the menu particularly with the bbq meats and pretty reasonable prices too. Having options you can share on a platter is such a good idea. We had the brisket, Southern fried chicken and smoked links (sausage) which were all really tasty and well cooked along with a nice creamy mac & cheese, collated greens and the corn which was so juicy and had a great flavour. Definitely recommend to check it out. Presume it was the owner we spoke to when we arrived and left and he was fantastic, so personable, you can tell he loves his bbq and his business but all the staff were so genuinely friendly. Great look, great food, great service👍🏻

Great food and ambience. However, very poor lighting. I found it difficult to read through the menu( too dark) the Short Rib Share plate was sold out when we ordered . Given this was our first visit to the restaurant. So I wasn't fully impressed. Luckily we found something slightly similar. The chicken buffalo🍗 wings was a delight to eat. The service was great. The owner👍👍 was very friendly, hospitable and made sure everything was ok. The mea🥩t was cooked to perfection nice, juicy and succulent. Overall, an enjoyable evening dining at this restaurant. However, the servings were pretty small for the price I paid. The desert was pretty ordinary and again small Serving for $12. I paid $180 for all this. For this amount you'd think I would have gotten more. Definitely pricey small Servings.

What a lovely little gem PB&B is! We visited for our chosen date night venue & we were not disappointed. I loved the rustic look & feel, the service was excellent & the food was divine. I really liked how the food was served on a large tray & small plates were provided as optional. Though I'd have preferred a slightly larger plate, it is very much personal preference & didn't impact the experience or meal. Thank you so much for a delicious dinner, we can't wait to return!

It is a very unique restaurant with a different style menu. I have been to a lot of restaurants but none like this. The venue itself is beautifully laid out, it has a wonderful atmosphere with a very happening vibe. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The meals are absolutely delicious. The best beef brisket I’ve had anywhere. They have the biggest whisky selection and the cocktails were amazing.

Just amazing! The atmosphere was so relaxed. Staff were super helpful. And when the chef came around with tastings, for every table, of the pulled pork he just gotten out of the the smoker, it made the experience second to none. Getting the platters of meat and sides is such a great option for groups when you have people at you table who dont eat as much as some. My 6 year old daughter had her own mac and cheese but when she saw a meat platter come out she had to help herself to that too!! Ive never seen her that excited for food before 🥰 My parents were going nuts over the whiskey selection, it was hard to decide which one hahaha

Food is great! My favourite is the brisket and corn bread. My daughter loved the taxi fries. I find that the ribs were too dry and lacks flavour, thankfully they have an awesome homemade bbq sauce to make it taste better. Disappointed with the pork belly burnt ends because it's crispy rather than bbq-y and caramelised. Was only able to book an outdoor table because it's a busy weekend. Unfortunately, we were seated quite near the smoker. It wasn't a very pleasant experience for someone with asthma and allergic rhinitis. Serving time must be improved. We ordered almost the same time as the table beside us. Their order arrived approx after 15mins. They were already finished eating and having their 2nd round of drinks when our oder finally arrived and some of the dishes were already cold. I would still love to comeback for the brikset and cornbread.

Found this restaurant and popped as part of a 3 day getaway. Food was top notch (I wish I could've ordered one of everything!), service very friendly and the Whistlepig 10 rye was a delicious finish. Will definitely be back when in the area!

Wow !!! This place is on point!! Great location and set up really well . Heaps of room for groups or a couple. Whisky .. this place is stocked and staff have N amazing knowledge. Food was perfect and was the best corn bread and jalapeno poppers (wrapped in bacon) drool.

Amazing place. Excellent food. Ordered cornbread, Mac n cheese, chicken wings. All were amazing. The ambiance and smoke from bbq was awesome( I don't eat meat but it smelled amazing). The choice of whiskeys and beers were decent. Service was excellent. Gave a typical feeling of what an American pub would be like.

Fantastic food, such a good variety of flavour! The service was amazing, the staff were super friendly even with our big party of people, never missing a beat, always checking we were happy and stopping for a chat when they could. The music was a bit loud, but at least it was good music! And the place itself is gorgeous, a fantastic aesthetic and design. Overall an awesome experience and I'd love to visit again.

Authentic American BBW. Great service, great food, great portion size. Huge selection of whiskeys for the connoisseurs. My only misgiving is their limited selection of non-alcoholic beverages.

What a great restaurant. We were greeted with such warmth and welcoming. The food was great. We had a shared platter of Brisket, Southern fried chicken, buffalo wings, pulled lamb, pork belly bites, coleslaw and chips. Desert, corn bread, donuts, and cherry cheesecake yum yum yum. The staff were excellent, professional and friendly. Our waiter Simon is amazing. We will be back.

By far the very best American low and slow in South East Queensland. Everything on the menu is spectacular, service is top notch and the bourbons are all fantastic. This is the place you bring friends as you know they'll love it and thank you for introducing them to Proof BBQ. Try the corn bread, you won't be disappointed.

Very tasty bbq. Tried a bit of a selection and was happy with everything. Good selection of drinks on offer and always win with a Guinness. The QR was a bit dumb as you must have a physical cc to set it up, so we were close to leaving as we only had applepay, the lady serving when I mentioned this was a bit of a grumpy bum but the barman helped us out.

Dropped in for lunch because I love a good BBQ. Food was good and tasty, just a little too much mustard and pickle on brisket and serving size for wings very small for price. Wasn’t busy but service was almost non existent when we visited - didn’t come and check if happy with meals, offer drinks etc but did ask us for feedback at the end.

Tried the beef brisket, pulled pork, and buffalo chicken wings. Cooked to perfection. Easily some of the best (if not the best) wings in Brisbane.

Definitely a well worth visit, getting a platter is the go to. There were 4 of us and we only just finished it, a really decent amount of food for the price. But whatever you do GET THE FRIED CHICKEN!!! Not sure how they cook it so well but the thickness of it is almost 3 inches and it's moist all the way through. And I can't not mention the onion rings too. If you're a fan of them these are some of the best. Would of like a server to maybe come around and ask if we wanted more drinks, I do understand that that can be a little tricky when you're extremely busy but it's just a small thing to pick at. Will definitely be bringing some other friends here and maybe try to beat our record of food eaten. Thanks for having us 😊

These guys do fantastic hot wings and onion rings.. didn't try too much as we wanted to see how good it was. It was awesome and everything tasted pretty clean not over powering smoke or grease. Will be going back again soon.

Absolutely amazing! We (a couple) had a good time here in Friday night. Mouthwatering food and quick preparation. I loved their brisket and jalapeno poppers. Great whisky collection. Lovely people and friendly service. It wasn't so crowded, not sure because of the long weekend. Easily accessible location and you can find street parking or located in walking distance from Grandy. Definitely recommend and easily 5 stars!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The portions of food were very large and tasty. The mac n’ cheese was so creamy and the porterhouse steak was juicy and tender. Absolutely amazing! But be careful of the Nashville hot wings - they’re extremely spicy!

Went here for a lunch date with my partner. Thanks to Proof BBQ, they’ve now made it impossible to go anywhere else for burgers and wings here in Toowoomba. After ordering a few plates to share (a lot of it is served family style which is great because how can you choose just one thing on the menu?), we were in absolute heaven. Everything was so full of flavour, and absolutely mouth-watering. Service matched the outstanding quality of food, and excellent pricing on it all. Definitely will be making this the go-to place for a great meal.

The brisket we had was AMAZING 👏 😍 and so was the entrees. The corn and potato salad was a bit dry though, it needed more dressing, and maybe something acidic to cut through the starch of the potatoes 😁 We will definitely be back to try more of the menu, absolutely go and try this place out when you can 👍

Disappointing. Was hoping to find a good joint that served some quality meat but I guess I will have to keep looking. Average at best nothing special. Waiter did not write down our order and got it wrong. Items on the menu are pricey compared to the portion size. Corn bread was the only good thing we had. Shame really as this place has a lot of potential.

A cozy place for dinner and drinks. The ribs is quite delicious and fresh. The watermelon salad didn’t look the best but it is worth trying. I love it. It is a small restaurant with friendly staff. However, just a little bit dim in the restaurant that made it hard to read the menu and food.

I have been to BBQ Proof too many times to keep track and I have ALWAYS had perfect barbecue!!!

So disappointing.The ribs were too salty. The cole slaw was a bit spicy and otherwise bland. The Mac n cheese was bland and oily, they only have one type of barbecue sauce and it's mediocre, and the beans were too tomatoey. It was overpriced for such mediocre food. Any decent BBQ joint has more than one sauce option, and plentiful sauce as well. Here, you have to ask for it and you get one little plastic condiment cup of sauce.

Superb BBQ restaurant with a decadent menu of American-style meats and deep fried things. Also boasts an extensive, quality selection of beers and whiskies (fear not, wine drinkers too are catered for). Staff always friendly and efficient, and the kitchen clearly knows what it’s doing. I couldn’t honestly recommend Proof if you’re looking for anything plant-based or healthy, but as a meat-eater’s occasional indulgence this place is hard to beat.

Incredible food. I was tossing up between the half rack of ribs and the full rack of ribs. I was worried there wouldn't be enough ribs on the half rack. I ordered the half rack and I barely finished the half! Flavour was excellent, actually tastes like pork if you could believe it and it's not drowned in BBQ sauce but complimented by it. Service is phenomenal. Ultra friendly staff. Excellent music too. Some classics playing while eating some BBQ and sinking a beer. Need to support this business. Get in here and get an awesome feed.

Recently dined at Proof BBQ & Booze with a friend. We had Buffalo wings, Onion rings, jalapeno poppers, collard greens, beef brisket, southern fried chicken and smoked hot links. Pricing was pretty much standard for an American bbq restaurant in Brisbane. Food wise the wings, jalapeno poppers and fried chicken were the top picks. Brisket was on the dry side and also doesn't come with any sauce. Sides like slaw, fries, BBQ sauce etc are not complementary with mains, that's probably the difference when compared with other American BBQ joints in Brisbane. Staff were very friendly and professional.

Hands down one of the best bbq places in Brisbane. Why?....well heres some reasons: - The staff are always attentive and check in throughout your time there, I always see the staff on the floor. Honestly, service makes or breaks a place for me, even if they have some amazing food.... and they nail their service delivery 👍 - The atmosphere is nice, it's not too dark, nor too loud - The food is delicious, well seasoned and I am yet to have a dish that I have not liked/has been dry. - Although the menu isn't as big as some other BBQ places what they offer is varied (some catering to GF and V) and what they offer, they do well! - The drinks menu is well varied and they do some good tap drinks also. - So much parking ! (woohoo)

I have had the pleasure of dining in here not long ago with my wife. The brisket, pulled pork, jalapeno poppers, fries and everything else was full of flavor and worth every penny we paid. The atmosphere is amazing as is the owner and his staff who served us. Would be hard pressed to find a better US BBQ restaurant in Brisbane. Highly recommended and you won't be disappointed. It reminded me of BBQ back home.

Very delicious. Small venue with a great atmosphere. Not a huge fan of the food being brought out on the trays. We were unaware of this and had a picky eater who ended up not eating because his food had been put on the same tray and had touched other food.

Ribs were divine, pecan wings were super flavourful. We also had the chicken skins which were a little more of a novelty than delicious treat- wouldn’t order them again. Also the $7 fries were a little light. Staff were absolutely lovely and food came out really quickly
