As the only visibly diverse patrons at the time, we were not welcomed and were even treated differently. We got a quick holler from the kitchen area, “sit anywhere and when you’re ready to order come up to the bar.” With it being our first time there, we figured this was standard protocol. Until, the very same bartender/server came over to two tables afterwards and brought them a menu to review. I had to go to the bar to request a menu myself. And no, it was not busy because when we arrived, there was only 1 party on the patio area wrapping up their meal. We were there for a fundraiser, glad we were able to contribute but will not return nor recommend to others.

My friends and I had an amazing time at HI and DRY Bowling & Beer! It was the perfect spot for a fun-filled afternoon that combined bowling and beer, creating a unique and enjoyable experience. The atmosphere inside was lively and inviting, with a modern and well-maintained arcade bowling alley that made the game even more enjoyable. The lanes were smooth, and the pins set up perfectly, ensuring a seamless bowling experience for everyone in our group. The highlight of the day was, of course, the excellent selection of craft beers available. The bar had an impressive assortment of local and international brews, catering to every taste bud. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or a casual drinker, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The staff at HI and DRY Bowling & Beer were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. From helping us pick the right bowling ball size to suggesting some fantastic beer pairings, they went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. In addition to the bowling and beer, the venue also offered a variety of tasty snacks and finger foods that perfectly complemented the beverages. It was great to munch on some delicious treats while taking turns at the lanes. Overall, our experience at HI and DRY Bowling & Beer was fantastic. The combination of bowling, beer, and great company made for an unforgettable brunch. Whether you're planning a casual get-together with friends or looking for a unique date night spot, this place should be at the top of your list. I recommend HI and DRY Bowling & Beer to anyone looking for a fun and entertaining time out. We will definitely be back soon to create more wonderful memories at this gem of a place. Cheers! 🍻

This was hands down one of our favorite experiences while we were in town visiting! We had a really fun time on a quiet Tuesday evening hanging out, bowling, and having a bite to eat. It was our first time playing duck pin bowling and I absolutely loved it! So much fun - highly recommend stopping by to try it out if you haven't. Hubby had a drink, while I tried the everything chicken tenders with ranch. I had never seen this anywhere else and they were so good, I am going to add some of that seasoning when I make them at home now. Not too expensive either. Just $20 for 2 people to play 2 rounds of bowling. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere but very little amount of games with alright beer selection and average quality. Unfortunately, my service was also far from the best one. It was somewhat a busy evening and I was waiting in front of the bartenders' view (next to the cash register) waiting until they acknowledge my presence and get my order but they kept ignoring me. After taking multiple orders from other customers who arrived after me, I vocalized my concern and the bartender acknowledged their mistake but continued with their tasks, and right before I almost decided to walk away, same bartender took my order. Not the experience I expected. Additionally, parking is all street and very limited, they don't give you change for quarters to play games and encourage to use their ATM. Beer wise, I ordered their wheat bear and a lager but they either poured two of the same ones or their wheat beer with a wheat.

I was here for a meeting. It was my 1st time here. Super chill and casual. We had a buffet style, pre-ordered lunch menu, but everything was good. The wings were fried but didn't taste like normal fried wings, and the meat literally just fell off the bone. They were delicious. I'm still mad that I only got 3. The other foods were fajita style steak & chicken, fried rice & veggie mix, cinnamon curds, nachos, cheese sauce, and a variety of sauces. Everything was delicious. My only complaint was that the tortillas for the fajitas didn't come out until after everyone had gone through and gotten food. I was disappointed in that. We had 1 waitress for about 15-18 of us. She was cool. Drinks were good. I don't remember my drink's name, but it tasted like a sangria. So good! I would definitely come back here. Sorry, it was a meeting, so I forgot to take pics 📸

After previously being here and having a longer wait for service and food, yesterday we had a quite pleasant experience! The drinks were good & fairly priced, and our service was quick, friendly, and attentive at the bar.

A little dated and dive-ish but I liked it. A slow night but bartender was great. Could use some more video games and pinball machines.

First time we ever stopped here . Felt very unwanted , bartenders were very dismissive not sure why every last bartender seem like they hated their job. We don’t have those problems at any of the other bars in Tremont. Def will be sticking to treehouse or spotted owl from now on

If you are Black or Brown you will not be welcomed nor acknowledged. It’s clearly a “Whites Only” bar. So don’t bother to to even waste your money here. I was there for a going away party but quickly got out of there when it was made clear by the male bartender I was not welcome

Ended up here on bad Uber directions and a nearly dead phone. Bartender was super chill and let me charge my phone, as well as refilled my water bottle for free. Very hospitable and friendly atmosphere.

We picked Hi & Dry for the Sunday brunch after our wedding and had an amazing time! We wanted a low-key space where people could come and go casually without worrying about RSVPs etc. and this spot was perfect. We were able to have the back area with private patio, indoor hi-top seating and two duckpin bowling lanes to ourselves. We also ordered some apps for the group and let those that wanted to order a full brunch on their own check. We also added the amazing bloody mary bar! The servers were able to manage all of this with no problem at all. It was the perfect location for our ~30-40 person group on a Sunday morning/afternoon.

Nearly lost my credit card to the bar service within fifteen minutes, can't recommend. Came to show a friend the city, ordered a drink, didn't get my card when I closed my tab. When I asked the bar service to check for it, they dismissed my requests and insisted I must have lost it despite me not leaving the bar at all. Only when I kept insisting and my friends came over did they find my card in the sink behind the bar and flicked it at me without apologizing. A friend and I went back up to the bar service to share how rude and dismissive they had been and the bartender only offered non-apologies and said "this has been a hard Saturday, earlier an old guy tried to fight me," which was completely unrelated to them losing track of my card. We felt very unwelcome and left shortly thereafter (they also mix awful drinks, as seen in the whiskey sour below that was mostly lemon juice). Thankfully other bars in Tremont are much more fun and welcoming! If you're looking for good service or a good time, stay high and dry of this barcade.

Me and a very good friend of mine decided to stop in and drown our sorrows at the bar since we weren't having a very good Valentine's Day. We joked with the bartender "Erin" and asked for a "Sad Valentine's Day drink" . She made up something and named it "Cupids Tears" which tasted amazing and we had several which eventually lifted our spirits. I ordered "The Maniac Burger" and my friend had "The Cheeseburger Tots" The food was excellent! The atmosphere was nice and the place was very clean. Erin was very nice and even gave me a sticker and said I was awesome after listening to my sob story lol. Hanging out here was truly the highlight of my evening and I would most definitely return.

Really love it here. One of the only duckpin bowling places around and just a chill place to hang out. During busy times you’re going to have to wait to play but in “off hours” you can typically walk in a get a lane immediately. It has a little bit of the trendy tremont vibe but also very relaxed. Have a lot of events in evenings and the servers and workers have always been nice. Food is surprisingly good too - the confit wings are literally some of the absolute best wings in town. Bar NONE. They’re obviously a little different than your regular “wings” but they’re incredible. Out go to place to hang with people before an event downtown because of free parking available in tremont. Food and service (especially in the lanes) can be a bit of a wait during busy times but that’s the only drawback.

My favorite bar in Tremont. Especially on Thursday nights for Bill Squire's Hi and Dry comedy hour. You should go every Thursday you can. Great time.

The staff make this place work. Very receptive even to tipsy patrons. Went here for a company party, food was good, staff was even better. Fun games to play.

The bowling was a lot of fun and more challenging than expected Would have been nice to have another bartender or someone that supported the bowling side

I'll start by saying this is mainly a bar. I thought it was half and half bowling and bar or something, but it's a bar with a little something in the back. They have about 8 arcade games scattered around the back and 4 duckpin lanes. We had a good time, playing a few games of mini bowling and got a few drinks. Pretty calm and nice evening entertainment for those who enjoy something small, cute, and different. It didn't seem too popular when we went, but they were also having a trivia night so maybe that's why.

Had a few drinks while visiting Cleveland. Mostly enjoyed the bartender’s story about a woman who ordered a car bomb drink and sat there sipping it for 20 minutes. The woman did not throw up. She handled it like a champ. Cool bar with friendly staff. Would go again.

Really enjoyed the duck pin bowling here. It's not cheap, but it's not cheap anywhere. Drinks served to you as you play. They have great food here and always a great atmosphere for a good time. Stop in today, you'll never regret it.

This bar is always a fun time. I've been here for Tuesday trivia night and done duckpin bowling on the weekend. The food is pretty alright, too. Definitely is a fun place to chill with friends or have a casual date night.

We rented the tavern out for a party and couldn't have been happier. Mark and his staff were phenomenal during the planning and the service and enthusiasm they exhibited during the event was extraordinary. I recommend them highly if you are interested in a fun and delicious evening for yourselves, or if you're planning an event.

The duck bowling was closed off for a reserved event which was a bummer. Super fun, laidback atmosphere. Cocktails are a bit expensive but beer prices are reasonable. Be sure to look into their kitchen schedule before planning on going there for dinner. Lots of street parking near by.

Cool place, the arcade was closed for private party 🥳 Will have to come back, maybe call ahead for status of game room.
