Lakewood Park is a hidden gem nestled within the bustling urban landscape. As soon as I set foot in this tranquil haven, I felt like I had escaped the city's chaos and entered a serene sanctuary. The park's lush greenery and well-maintained paths make it an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll or a peaceful picnic with friends and family. The abundance of tall trees provides ample shade, making it a refreshing retreat during hot summer days. One of the park's highlights is the picturesque lake that adds to its charm. Walking alongside the shimmering waters and watching ducks glide gracefully creates a sense of calm and relaxation. I often find myself sitting by the lakeshore, enjoying the soothing sounds of nature and the gentle breeze. For fitness enthusiasts, Lakewood Park has excellent facilities. The well-equipped fitness area offers various exercise options, from jogging tracks to open spaces for yoga or stretching. It's wonderful to see people of all ages engaging in activities, fostering a sense of community spirit. The park's management deserves accolades for their dedication to cleanliness and upkeep. The facilities, including restrooms and play areas for children, are always well-maintained and tidy. Lakewood Park's accessibility is another plus. Ample parking space and nearby public transportation options make it easy for everyone to visit and enjoy this natural sanctuary. Whether you're looking for a peaceful escape, a place to exercise, or a delightful family outing, Lakewood Park has it all. I highly recommend this oasis of tranquility to locals and visitors alike. It's an ideal destination to unwind and reconnect with nature amidst the urban buzz. A heartfelt thank you to the Lakewood Park team for maintaining such a wonderful space. I look forward to many more visits and moments of bliss in this beautiful green paradise.

Spent the whole day! Pool cost I believe is $5 for Lakewood residents and $10 for non residents. Splash pad is free and separate from the pool. The pool water felt absolutely AMAZING! I will definitely be going back for more fun in the sun!

Really cool park, our favorite part is the solstice steps and the swinging benches. The view of the city is a really nice feature as well. We come here when we're looking for a low key and easy walk.

This park was awesome. It was very spacious and had lots of activities for the kids to explore and burn energy on. Again the area is huge so be careful to watch your kids as they lost within the playground quickly.

Pool is awesome - lots of space. (Would love a few more chairs but get how you can get more space with towels! :))

Beautiful place. We spent the afternoon there with a group of students doing some Drone Club flying and all the kids had a great time. There were already some other guys in the park flying Drones as well. Nice big playground full of kids with solid bathroom facilities and a water station. Nice modern park.

I stopped by after working in the area, nice spot to walk along the lake and listen to the waves. The view of the city from the end of the path is cool.

This is always a busy place but it’s worth it. Lots to do here. Seasonal pool, tennis courts, baseball fields, volleyball courts, basketball, skate park, museum, stage for bands / movies, views of the Cleveland skyline, tons of picnic areas, playground, solstice steps - perfect for the sunset, lake view promenade. Usually a lot of weirdos here but the good kind 😂

A cute park right on Lake Erie. Very nice to watch the sunset and a great view of Cleveland skyline in the distance. You can’t get into the water here but feel the waves as they hit the shore and the sound is very peaceful and powerful. They have picnic tables, restrooms and a playground. Big open grass area for kids and pets to run around.

Lakewood park is always a beautiful park to visit. I do lots here. I’ll come here and walk around the park, I’ll run, and sometimes I’ll even bike. I think what I definitely like doing the most though is stopping by the Solstice Steps and just staring off towards the Lake. It’s always so peaceful and always so relaxing. My favorite part that is a more recent addition, that I’m sure many others could agree on, is their pickle ball courts. I go to these courts all the time to play pickle ball with my friends.

Beautiful, massive park on Lake Erie. This place has it all. Huge playground for the kids, pool, large grassy area to hang out and of course the sunset! The solstice steps are a magical part of this park to view the sunset, maybe have a picnic.

In Lake Erie's hush, whispers ride the breeze, Calm waters mirror the trees with such ease. A soul, in awe, by its tranquil shores stands, Lost in serenity spun by nature's hands. The lapping waves hum a gentle song, Peaceful moments where solace belongs. Reflections dance upon the water's sheen, A tranquil canvas, oh so serene. The heart finds solace in this quiet grace, Erie's embrace, a serene, tranquil place. A soothing balm for a restless mind, Here, in stillness, true peace one can find.

Another Wonder of Lakewood Lake Erie Ohio's Emerald necklace and waterway system..a beautiful, well kept public place/area of land. good to live by the lake, truly appreciate it as a place to be with your family and friends.. we had a birthday celebration and what a wonderful afternoon.

Great place for a portrait session, which I had recently had with a family. They have a gazebo and a beautiful walkway along the waterline. They have some rocks you can walk along near that waterline, but please be very careful there and watch your children. The park is always clean. People always tend to be in a good, friendly mood while being there. The park is dog friendly and usually has a decent amount of walkers. Overall just a great, quiet place to come if you want a walk or to enjoy a sunset.

I really enjoyed stopping by the beach. There was a bit of a drizzle, so many families had hopped up. Lots of walking trails... Beautiful beaches. Just wish rules about the rocks were posted. I "got whistled and yelled at" for trying to walk on the rocks to sit.

My 3rd favorite park in the Cleveland metro area...and that's only because it was a tough decision and smaller than the other two. However, this place is a great spot to hang out and have a picnic, exercise, take in the scenic views of the Cleveland skyline and enjoy walking up and down the solstice steps.

Absolutely fantastic public park. The squirrels are so cute and very well trained. If you sing to them they will let you take their picture. 😁

A good place to watch the sunset, and also fireworks on the 4th of July. You can walk down closer to the water, but for some reason you're not supposed to walk on the break wall.

My wife and I shared a beautiful experience today. It's a mixture of things to do. Or you can embrace the scenery.

My kids love this place so many different things for the kids to enjoy for all ages. It has a nice walking trail where you can take in the beautiful view of the water as well. The first time I came here, a family member had a birthday party. I've been bringing my now 9-year-old & 3 yr old every since. Now I bring my neice, who's 7 & nephew who's 5. Not to mention, I live on the east side, so I passed a lot of parks as well as a beach along the way to get to this park, and it's worth every trip.

Beautiful park with lakeside views, picnic facilities, a huge play area, baseball diamond, and volleyball courts. It can get pretty busy on the weekends so parking can occasionally become an issue.
