Beautiful area. It’s excellent for a stroll around. Beautiful flowers. Quite good options for parking if bringing a bit of patience. There’s good options for food and drinks in the area...

Nice entrance to the historical old town of Rhodes. The gate is part of the mediaval walls. Stands with souvenirs are all around. Also there are restaurants and bars.

Nice place to take some great pictures. Great place to buy some Souvenirs. (Magnets wine paintings clothes jewellery..) Inside the sell fur(minus point). Sometimes it smells really bad, maybe due to the waste. The are some women who want to due your hair, they are a bit cheeky.

Not easy to stop here as very narrow pavement and lots of people going back and forth. Very nice photo though if you get the time.

This is the busiest of all the Gates in Rhodes Old Town, and connects the Old Town with Mandraki Harbour. Like many of the gates, Italian architects were employed to convert the gates to accept traffic in keeping with the original style. Liberty Gate got its name after the Island defeated the turks. Nowadays, its busy with traffic, and also pedestrians. The pavements are not wide, so if you are pushing a pushchair or a wheelchair, it could be a challenge with people heading in the opposite direction. A great piece of architecture and a great place for some photo opportunities.
