Unfortunately, this is a place where the main purpose of these owners is to grab more money by offering you a quantum of product. The main sense is that by overlooking service and staff attitude they are somehow allowed to charge you for the food and drinks you order. The menu is absurd, with a mixed and confusing variety of meat and fish. The music is of low quality and totally in contrast with the aesthetics of the building and decoration. A bad choice if you appreciate value for money.

Not really pet friendly. They asked our tiny dog to be left on the ground, she doesn't even take space. They didn't bring her water either. Wouldn't recommend if you have a pet. Edit -my response to the owner: European Law (ΕΚ/852/2004) and Greek Law Υ1γ/ΓΠ/οικ.47829 /2017 combined, state as you said that pets are not allowed in food preparation premises, and drinks' storage. In the INTERIOR of the establishment. NOTHING prohibits pets at the exterior area! Respectfully, I suggest you read the law more carefully.

We got here with 3 young kids for a late lunch at 4pm when it was near empty. We were told it‘s an adults-only place and could not play cards with our kids to shorten the waiting time. They were also offended when we asked for a kids menu. Dont come here if you have kids. Strange as usually Greece is very happy to see kids around

The service was phenomenal! Congratulations on your people, they are all wonderful, true professionals despite their young age. They were swift, attentive and really kind! I am genuinely impressed! The hostess did her best to find us a table (and succeeded!) and the waiter paid attention to bring all cheese separately (as my friend is lactose intolerant). The salad was really good, we had the valerian with mozzarella cheese, absolutely delicious. I had the seabass and my friend the papardelle with chicken. The fish was amazing, of fair portion and juicy as should, but the caper seeds flavor is too intense and "steal" from the overall taste, pay attention to this. The broth was good, but generous in salt :) . I tasted my friend's plate too; You aced the pasta and the mushrooms, chicken breast was dry though, it needs more attention not to overcook. Trying to be constructive here, I love the place, have been there in the past (when it was not so fancy) and I really support the change guys. Despite my strict review of the food I would still give you four stars but I will have to take another one out because of the music. It was awful. Koukos used to be an alternative place to hang out. I am not against taking it up a notch to a higher level but this should be consistent with the atmosphere too, and the "elafrolaika" we heard from the speakers were tremendously annoying and incompatible to the overall aesthetic of the place. I hope you consider the above, will definitely come back and expect to find you on top quality, like you deserve!

Food and coffee is ok, the staff need an attitude adjustment. They act like there is no space available at 8:30am for a coffee and make a fuss about moving people around. When two more people joined our table the waitress runs over and says that our table has been given away to people who are waiting (again, the place is nearly empty and there is obviously nobody waiting for anything) and we can no longer sit there.

Really disappointed. Probably some of the worst food I've ever eaten anywhere in Greece. Mine appeared to be an entire plate of cheese sauce. My partner didn't enjoy his either. We decided against desert in case it was also inedible. Two stars rather than one as the building is nice and the service was OK.

Beautiful place to chill and enjoy good food and drinks. Coffee is very good, soft drinks too, but apple pie is amazing strongly recommend. Service is fast and staff are very kind and prices are reasonable. They also have rooms available.

Half of the menu unavailable. Distant treatment. Uptight environment for wealthy tourists and locals. Nothing if what nskes Greece great. I recommend to search for alternatives.

We stayed in one of the suites for the last few days of our trip, and this place was phenomenal! I adored the “old Greece” feel to the room and the private patio with jacuzzi was amazing! The entire staff were so welcoming and accommodating. I was blown away by the cleaning service they were meticulous and even organized my toiletries. Food and drinks were delicious, room service was so fast and the breakfast was a great touch. I will definitely return on my next trip!

We came here for dinner. Delighted to be taken to a picturesque courtyard to dine in. Lovely tentative staff. The food was stunning. We had the bread and mixed dips as a starter which tasted incredible. The mains were great. I had chicken with mustard and my partner had Mousaka. Both dishes were cooked well and really tasty. Highly recommend

This place was recommended by a local from a rent a car company. The food was delicious and we’re glad we got here. The ambiance was nice, staff was friendly and the place is well maintained. We tried greek salad, chicken sandwich, sea bass from main dishes. I’m adding also the total cost attached to this review. The coffee was ok, we had cappuccino and double cappuccino. Enjoy!

After passing several times, we stopped during the quite noon time. The high table is our preference. We ordered a fruit salad and got a feast of a plate. Great music and the service is friendly and prompt.

I hesitated before I wrote this review however my hesitation is be sure of one thing : this place is overated, pretentious and LOUD. My dissapointement only rivals my hefty bill : 1100 euros for 5 days. Pricey food, small portions, a lot of it has been said on Google reviews where the majority, beg your pardon, the OVERWHELMING majority of clients support my opinion. I screenshooted a lot of reviews of the restaurants from Google and more than 40 % of them were very negative. I said that to the manager and she was in denial. It leads me to think Greek from Rhodes are either oblivious to criticism or won't read what others say about them. And they should because 80 % of their economy depends on tourism. In both ways, this will be their downfall and I will take my precious dollars to Italy, Portugal, France, Africa or Asia. Let me explain why. Yes the staff is great but otherwise this place looks old, decayed and is highly overated. 1) The rooms are filthy : There were ants eating my fruits!!! Does this sound like a neat place to you; 2) The food is so-so and comes in small portions and hefty prices, something very unlike Greece; 3) There is a yuppie atmosphere to it, and therefore, YMMV; 4) There is CONSTANT Noize there you should know they are money machines before you go there. They don't care about your comfort, they certainly didn't care about mine. Arrived there on may the 16 th, first night LOUD silly dance music until 2 am. No big deal, I can sleep in the morning! The following morning? Noize in the street from 6 am - 7 am until noon! 5) They have a bar and a restaurant downstairs, therefore, they are more concerned with the latters, than the guesthouse upstairs where poor tourists struggle to sleep because of jetlag, noize oh and those annoying dance music straight up from 1991 ! Do yourself a service, I visited over 40 countries, skip this place, and go elsewhere, Wham bam thank you mam, for everything else, there is MASTERCARD ! Did I mention I paid 1187 euros for this nightmare? Ripped me off you did, never again will it happened though, as one of their staff said to me : ''you know Greek people are not very civilized'' (her quote) - for once, we agreed! 1 star is for the staff, the rest was average.

We stayed from August 18 - 21. The hotel`s location, the bar and internal design were the best. But most importantly, the employees working there are unique - the best of the best! From reception girls to breakfast guys, the lady in the bar and even room cleaning is way better than 5 star hotels. We feeled welcomed all the time. And that was completely a great experience! Looking forward to coming again :)

We went for a full body treatment and foot and legs massage. Both were great! Relaxing, quit, professional. The place is welcoming and feels warm. Totally recommend!💆🏻‍♀️

We came for dinner and it took hour and 20min to get main food. Starters came after approx. 45min of waiting. They didn't get me drink I orderd, however they charged for it and two other drinks we didn't order. After reclamation the waitress didn't apologize for the mistake. Postitive was that food was good and outside there was heaters.

Every time I visit Rhodes, I never leave without eating their food. There is also a very high quality service on the bar pub side.

Beautiful place, waited 20 min to order a drink. Ordered wine to be told 5 mins later not in stock. Offered more expensive wine for 8€ a glass about 125mls approx . For me I'm sticking to the villages local prices.

Koukos food is phenomenal. Was there last year when i was on vacation had breakfast there every day and everything was delicious especially the sandwiches and that round bread filled with goodies forgot the name of it. I had hard time finding tables for dinner time but was able to get one on my last day and it was one of the best salads and pastas ive had in Rhodos. Will be back this year. The only problem was finding tables to seat like if we were 3 people they never had a table for us but when we went 2 people we immediately got seated wich was kind strange cause they always had open tables. But overall is a great place to be.

I don't know if they have rooms for sleeping but this is restaurant and bar. Food is really good but really expensive for the Rhodian price range. I got a lamb in wooden oven and my friend took flank steak. We ate also nice salad. The salad was the best. Food was ok, but really expensive. Haven't eat here in long time, and sadly it will take a long time to go again. With these prices, it was not worth of my money. Staff where really nice and professional.

We didn't stay here but we did go for cocktails and it was excellent. The outside bar is a great addition, cocktails and atmosphere were amazing but I would definitely recommend booking a table as it was very busy even on a Wednesday!

Good Service excellent coffee and muffins attention to detail is the key here and the staff are very attentive. Turns into a fine restaurant in the evening with more choice from the menu but without diminishing the service. bravo

Changed completely used to be welcoming with a great atmosphere. Now it's gone up market too up market. In and out no point in staying. Food as always still as good but more expensive.

I came here first time today, after seeing all the advertisements in rhodos town. A beautiful place indeed, and service is nice, too. BUT: the food is very disappointing! NOT of good taste and for sure NOT worth the money. We had gnocchi (industrial) and grilled chicken filet, grilled vegetables which were the ones you buy frozen from supermarket, stuffed ravioli and an avocado salad, both in very small portions... hopefully menue and quality will have an upgrade soon. There is way better places for food on the island.

Delicious food, was quite busy when we arrived and took a while to be served but food fantastic and delicious. Cocktails were excellent. Coffee was good. Pizza for the kids was lovely and home made including a vegan pizza

Lovely place for lunch, dinner and coffee. The atmosphere is magnificent and the service is great. My only objection is that the menu and the attitude changes to locals between summer and winter. Thus 5 star for winter and 3 star for summer.

Very good food, fairly priced. They are trying to be a fancy restaurant but have not got the standard right (yet). Staff is rushed and running constantly this makes it feel rushed and choatic and makes it uncomfortable to eat. Small things are in place napkins with logo, wet mini towels. But appropriate cutlery for steak to late. Simple bread took 20min while the main coarse came with 25 min (5min later then the starter) paying the bill took nearly 20min.

Extremely popular!Nice vibe. You can have drinks or dinner or both. Very polite staff as well. We ordered their platters and they were very tasty. A good option if you are a small group and don't want to have dinner.Their cocktails are also very innovative.A big well done to their DJ. She plays a mix of greek and non greek songs that put you in a good mood immediately. Worth visiting again and again.

I gave them 4 star only cause we waited for almost an hour to get two plates of moussaka. However, the food was delicious, wine was great and stuff was very polite. If you want to visit traditional greek restaurant and try local food, this place is definitely a must!

This was one of our best experiences in Rhodes: high quality service and polite staff, delicious food for reasonable prices comparing to other places and authentic ambient! They have huge terrace and garden on one of the pedestrian street and just beside one of the interesting typical greek style churches with interesting courtyard. And the most important for us: they serve breakfast before 11 in the morning, which wasn’t common in Rhodes, to our great surprise.

Beautiful place that you could miss in the busy part of the Neoclassical district. Just a gem and the staff are top quality where nothing is a bother. Food is too good to describe, you’ve got to try it! Loved the place and if it’s open in January we’ll be checking into the hotel.

Food is excellent, we had high expectations due to the beautiful decoration and the amazing client service. The experience definetly exceeded those expectations. I recomend this place!

Delicious food - recommended by a local. We enjoyed it so much we had lunch here twice - the Koukos salad is delicious and the prices are very reasonable.

Good food, nice place, but for me it was more business than food experience. You can find good food and professional personal, but you cannot feel the atmosphere. Relatively pricy.

  • 3/5 Ekaterina T. 1 year ago on Google
Tasty food but very very very endlessly long service. Waiting for tuna tar tar 60+ minutes and pasta for 75 minutes at the time when the restaurant is more than a half empty.

Bad disapoitment. Music was way too loud. It was more like a musicbar than a restaurant. You couldn even speak with others. Table reservation didnt exist. Nobody served us during the supper so we didnt get anymore to drink during the meal. Expensive compering what you got. No value for the money . Lesson was, name doesnt guarantee the quality.

Beautiful place! We had the most wonderful experience there, the room was neat and tidy as we arrived. We were welcomed warmly by the staff, they were kind and helpful with any query that we had. We were in the Seferis suite which is the smallest room yet already quite spacious. The bed super comfortable and the jacuzzi felt great after a day of moving around. There's also a fireplace in the room so you won't ever get cold. The restaurant is also quite nice and tasty, same for the cocktails which are mixed well. The breakfast included is perfect and you could literally stuff yourself with it. We were in a hurry in the morning so couldn't have it in the hotel but we were able to choose anything to take with us on the road. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Rhodes as the quality is impeccable and the localisation of it is also perfect as everything is only 5mn away by walking! If I ever go back to Rhodes, I'll 100% stay there.
