Absolutely delicious! Off the beaten path in a cute alley with no one pressuring you to come in. We chose this place based on reviews and are glad we did. The Greek salad had super fresh ingredients, very red tomatoes and different colored peppers. The variety of spreads was so good! Also got the boiled greens. It was spinach, a huge portion and so good. Galaktoboureko (custard dessert) was perfect and the vanilla ice cream very high quality. I love this cute place.

This is the best restaurant on Rhodes! Incredible hospitable owner, amazing food and very friendly stuff. Every who comes to Rhodes MUST visit this place! I would call this place one of the attraction on Rhodes or even one of the seven wonders of the world.

What a lovely restaurant. This is a family restaurant inside the old town but in calm alley. Perfect to enjoy your food without hearing sound from bars. The food was super tasty and rich. I also need to talk about the owner. As I said above, it's ran by a family. The father of the family is a lovely old man. He recognize me when i passed by (even that I only got 1 lunch like 4 days before). A man with a warm heart working for 40 years and still working alongside with his children. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

It was a very warm welcome and you feel yourself comfortable. Environment is so cute and cozy. There was nothing wrong during the service. All foods were super delicious. Stuffed calamari was the winner of the day for sure. All in all, strongly recommended because it is a real five star restaurant!

I had great expectations for this place considering how high the reviews were on TripAdvisor and Google Maps. However, I was disappointed considering what they served and how expensive it is. They served only one pita bread for the appetizer with the dips. The meat was dry and the fries was soggy. The fish was good and we also ordered a beer and water. It came out to be €52, that’s too expensive considering what you can get in the surrounding area.

The food and service were both excellent. We have been there three times during our 1 week vacation and and every time we had an amazing experience. Definitely a must try in Rhodes. Most friendly staff, reasonable prices and tasty food. Definitely recommended

Delicious starters of marinated octopus and soft as cream with dill, delightful taramasalata with toasted pita w herbs and a green salad w slivers of orange and green apples. We had grilled.bass which was very fresh. A bit pricey but worth it

Very nice place. We were invited by the owner . Though first impression didn’t encourage (almost no people), we decided to stay and order dinner (it was around 3-4pm and beginning of June so no crowd was normal). And… amazing food for hunger but also for taste and scent. Perfectly grilled calamari and fish, just nothing to add. The owner very friendly and talkative. When in Rodos city- a place must to be:)

Ilias, his son and family are amazing. The food is wonderful and the hospitality equally as good. This is a real Greek family providing a really good experience. I travelled alone but they made me feel part of their family and they made the whole holiday so special. Thank you.

The best place we ate at in the old town. We only found Taverna Kostas because it was close to where we were staying. So glad we did. Completely defeated by the pork chop! İt was immense - and cooked perfectly. The courgette balls were so light and flavoursome. Lovely family place with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We were only in Rhodes for a long weekend, otherwise we would have returned to eat here again.

Slightly hidden, in a beautiful little street within the old Town of Rhodes. Beautifully designed restaurant, extremely friendly and welcoming staff. The food was amazing and extremely delicious. We can highly recommend the pita bread with different spreads and the meat platter. We enjoyed every bite and will certainly stop by again when we are in the area. Hidden gem in the old town! Both traditional Greek and modern dishes. Good portion size. The guinoa salad was delicious. A family run restaurant. The interior is newly renovated and very stylish. Don’t let the narrow alley fool you, we were so happy we stumbled across this place!

The restaurant is situated in the center of Ialysos district. Very colorful and atmospheric place. I really adore the interior. Taverna has two floors. We have been seated upstairs, that allows us to have a nice view! We had a sword fish and mix grill plate. Everything was tasty and fresh. Portions are quite big. As for me, meat was a little bit over grilled, but anyway we enjoyed our dinner so much! The house wine is a must to try. Service is very friendly, attentive and companionable. We didn’t wait long for our food. Prices are average and totally worth it.

Absolutely wonderful! This is a quiet and beautiful escape from the busy tourist traps in the main square of Old Town! The whole family are adorable and kind! Food was also amazing!

We had a wonderful lunch at this family owned restaurant. Everything from the service, the ambiance to the food was just great and my daughter kept asking if we could go back, but unfortunately we didn’t have time. The walk there through the narrow streets of the old town is just an added bonus. The eggplant croquette (pictured) is some of the best food I’ve had in a long time - unfortunately didn’t get a picture of all the dishes we tried.

Great food and great service by Kostas himself. He is the loveliest grandpa you’ll meet. Food is great, we had seafood and it some of the best dishes we’ve had. All staff is attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

I’ve been at the Taverna Kostas for dinner in October 2021 and it has been a very delightful experience. The location is a bit hidden but just 3min away from the typical tourist traps in Rhodos old town. The food was delicious, super freshly cooked and the ambient and interior design were very much worth the visit. The elderly owner himself is part of the service staff and very nice. Highly recommend the place!

We had a lovely night, great food and great wine at Taverna Kostas. We came here because another guest wrote a review of the best Moussaka he ever had and we weren't disappointed! We can highly recommend the Moussaka as well as the red house wine which go perfectly together.

Amazing Taven! Family run business - has the cutest and most friendly stuff, even when the place was full. The house wine is amazing - the best wine we had in Greece. You must order the zucchini balls and the feta in fylo. The mousaka and the cod fish is amazing! You cannot skip this place!!!!

We have been there twice during our vacation and it was always a bliss. The restaurant is a very nice and family based restaurant just a 2 min walk from the tourist hotspot in the old town. We loved the welcoming ambiente and especially senior owner was very nice and friendly to us. The food was fresh and definitely authentic greek food. We had several small dishes which were served quite fast. Although at our second stay the taverna (around 9 pm) was very full, we got our food in no time. Compared to other restaurants in the old town the prices were very good and the tip was well deserved. The pita bread was very good and fresh to gether with the Tzaziki. We would definitely recommend the Courgette Balls and the Feta in filo pastry as well as the Saganaki. Thank you very much for a unique greek dining experience!

Beautiful place, the owners are very friendly and welcoming. We had to wait a bit longer than usual to get our drinks and food (the restaurant was mostly empty at that time) but overall we were very satisfied. The food was delicious and the prices are also fair.
