Amazing place to eat and enjoy the view. Very worth a visit. Booked in advance to guarantee a decent table and was in a large group. There are alot of restaurants in the area that are competing to grab the tourists to dine. Some of the front of house can be very annoying. When I walked past at the beginning of the holiday the front of house just politely said good evening. There was no, come in and eat here type of sales tactic, which is why I went back and booked after looking at some of the reviews. When we arrived, we were greeted and showed to our seats on the roof top terrace. The terrace view is across the old town and beautiful on a clear night watching the sunset. The menu was is in several different languages and all the same prices as the locals. NOT a tourist trap. Some of the items on the menu has pictures which look exactly what is served. The food is not to disappoint, we had the sea food platter which came with jacket potatos. The mix grill is also massive and easily could be shared. Others in the group had Greek dishes which were amazing. We ordered a few litres of house wine to share and the Greek coffee was very nice.

We found this place on google and decided to come because of the great reviews it had. In the street you will find annoying bartenders trying to bring you to their restaurants but with this restaurant wasn’t the case. Their staff were lovely and with a smile. The views and restaurant rooftop are beautiful and you can see important city sightseeing from there. Their menu was great and accurate with examples of photos of the plates that they offer. The food was delicious and real Greek! Thank you so much! If we come back to Rhodes we will definitely come here again! 🌸😊❤️

On our first night in Rhodes, we decided to take a walk in the old city. Looking for a place to eat, we stumbled upon this pearl. We’ve been mesmerised right away by the outside look of it! Once inside things haven’t changed. We’ve been welcomed by warmly mannered stuff that made us feel welcomed right away and seated us on the roof/garden under a flower frame! Amazing.. The food was just as good!! Thanks for the lovely dining experience!

I believe we’re spoiled by earlier dining experiences during our week’s stay in Greece. Unfortunately, this last meal in Rhodes, which was supposed to be so special, was a disappointment. We ordered the Greek sampler platter for two and while it looked attractive, everything was pretty mediocre. I liked the moussaka, but even the Greek salad we ordered was just OK. We chose this place because we couldn’t find another highly recommended taverna.

Great food, great service at a great price would highly recommend to anyone visiting the old town, view of the markets on two levels first floor and roof terrace overall fantastic restaurant will definitely be back

Never been to rhodes before so while in the town we thought we have something to eat and there were so many to choose from. We went to la varanda because it was so pretty white washed pink flowers stunning. The owner who was outside was very polite and friendly but from when we were seated and received food was very disappointed. The service wasn't great left us with cutlery from starter to also use for main the presentation was awful food was cold. Was very much like a cattle market in take money then out none of the greek hospitality we are used to no personal touch they did offer 20% next time but there will never be a next time .

Among the many restaurants in Rhodes Old Town we visited La Veranda by chance as the front of house wasn't at all pushy and it looked a nice place. We sat in the rooftop garden overlooking the town and port. It's a lovely peaceful location. Food wise we had a seafood salad and a Tuna Salad one lunchtime. Both were fantastic! The service was quick without feeling rushed and the prices are more than reasonable. Our second visit (wish we'd have visited more). I had the Hunters Lamb on recommendation, and can honestly say it ranks up there with the nicest food I've ever eaten! Obviously depending on taste, but I love trying traditional food when on holiday and the lamb was so tender. It's apparently cooked for around 12hrs! Definitely recommend the place. Family run and friendly.

Awesome place! Both the service and the food are just great! Especially the grilled octopus and sardines! We went here three times during our stay and would definitely come back again!

We had kleftico and stifado and they were both extremely good. The views from the terrace are AWESOME. The service was excellent. La Veranda feels like a proper restaurant unlike some of the ones in the square below. Also they have this epic bougainvilea growing up the stairwell inside. Hope to visit again

The view is excellent, but we come to the restaurants to eat too) Prices are slightly overpriced but again this is a tourist center. After choosing a dish on the menu, not everything is available, which surprised. But we were offered another option, and it turned out to be very tasty. Service is of a high standard!

A beautiful restaurant with a lovely view of the Fort,sea and the street. They serve good Greek cuisine. The staff are so polite and warm.

Really delicious food with a nice sea view. Fast service. We had the gyros plate and it was very delicious. The prices are very good. It was very relaxing because you can sit on the rooftop. Only disadvantage is that we can’t pay with card so only cash is possible.

Real worth visiting. Beautiful place, rooftop terrace at a beautiful Square. Food is perfect in flavour. Price is good. Service is the best. Real nice people in a touristic environment are hard to find, here you'll find them.

Really enjoyed this restaurant after being recommended by my cousin. Lovely location overlooking the old town. Food was fresh, tasty and large portions. Plus the staff were lovely, so accommodating. Would recommend. We are going back one evening as would love to see the sunset from the balcony. Thank you

We had a glorious lunch here recently. We ate on the balcony and had a view of the castle, the old town square and a touch of the sea. The wait staff were very kind. The food was delicious. At the end the owner gave us some ouzo café, which we had never tried and which is in abundance in Rhodes but you can’t seem to get anywhere else (we tried!). We enjoyed speaking French with her - she speaks 11 languages. Anyway, I would go back here in a heartbeat for an enjoyable Greek meal.

Beautiful place located in а crowded area of the old town. The place itself is also very busy, not comfortable for a leisurely dinner. The food is ok, but nothing special. Overall it is quite overrated touristic place with high prices.

Great traditional Greek food in a beautiful setting. There was space available on the terrace when we arrived at 21:30. Service was excellent. Definitely recommended

Very good food, great ingredients from good vendors. Perfect view and a real historical place. In this house Guns of Navarone was filmed. Visited twice already and I have not said my final word.

Beautifully decorated restaurant with great views of the old town and even the sea from the top floor. The food was also delicious. This place is magical.

The setting on the roof was lovely, could Fo with some nice Greek music The view on the one side is lovely of the busy street below. Definitely needs cooling water fans in the heat. Thankfully there was a breeze The food … the Greek salad and Lamb chops were EXCEPTIONAL!!!!!!!!!! Well done

The restaurant is beautiful and the personal is one very pleasant and friendly. We enjoyed our table, the view and most of all the food. The seafood is fresh and very tasty.

Food was amazing, caters for vegetarians too! Drinks were really nice! Stunning views of the Old Town in Rhodes
