This was 20 years ago really nice. Nothing happened after that. It was like a horror movie. Lot of dead animals in sinks, ever broken lamp inside a pool... what happened? Nobody cares anymore about the aquarium. Lot of potential to be educational place. So shame. 😭 Poor animals. City counsil should do something.

A very interesting place with a wide selection of fish and different types of sea animals. An opportunity not to be missed when you are in Rhodes. The ticket price is useful for families who want to show their children the underwater world.

We visited due to this being a stop on the Hop On Hop Off bus. I wouldn't recommend travelling to visit the aquarium alone as it's very small. I enjoyed the rest from the sun and the atmosphere inside. Not your typical aquarium. The price is low and suits the length of time we spent here and the upkeep of the place. It's situated on the beach, so I really enjoyed dipping my feet before catching the bus to the next stop.

The aquarium was nice and it wasn't too expensive (only 11 euro for two adults), but it does look a bit run down some places. Not all the exhibits are as nice, but it was still a nice experience and some cool fishes to look at. I really liked that when you're looking at the fish they've made it look like you're walking in a cave, but it can be a bit small sometimes. I'm about 190cm and I had to duck down sometimes so I wouldn't crash with the roof. The outside garden and flowers were really pretty as well.

Nice small aquarium and contains good information about the native sea creatures. The cave is worth a visit and we paid €6, our toddler went in for free. Needs a little maintenance, and they need more visitors I guess. If you are in Rhodes, make a short visit ( you need less than an hour).

6€ per adult to enter, was a nice place but very warm inside, small but lots of information about the local sea life. Worth a visit. We enjoyed it.

The aquarium was quite enjoyable if a bit small. Is definitely due a makeover and brought into the 21st century. Best bit for the kids was when they could touch some of the creatures but a bigger space for this would have been better.

Quaint little aquarium. 6 euros to get in and you will spend about an hour looking around. Each exhibit has a bit of info attached to it that will increase your marine knowledge ever so slightly and the staff are quite friendly too. It doesn't look open when you approach it but the entrance is around the side. There is also a toilet available inside.

Place to be for every sea life fan. Exposition is divided in 2 areas. In first, there are multilingual signs stating some interesting facts and brief history of sea life. Exposition showing crustaceans, seashells and corals. Relief map of Mediterranean sea caught my eye too. Small open tank where you can not only observe but touch some species is really something. Touch screen w/ educational quiz mini-game is a quick entertainment for children and adults as well. You can also buy some commemorative coins , depicting either crab or octopus on one side and the aquarium building on other - 2 € a piece. However the second part is where the journey truly begins. Designed as artificial cave and situated under the ground level, the area is humid and pleasantly cold. At the entrance you are welcomed by creepy moray followed by crabs in all shapes and sizes, cute sea urchins and starfish, majestic lionfish, and lovely rays and plaice. In the end awaits you the pinnacle of expostion: absolutely gorgeous octopus! She even showed off, floating nonchalantly in front of us. Really worth the admission.

The aquarium is beautiful from the outside and interesting from the inside. It is a bit small so we ended up not going inside. We felt being there, feeling the place was enough. But the building was so charming I want to I want to support it with 5 stars.

The ticket price is 5.5 euros, the museum is very small, and you can see everything in ten minutes. Many showcases don't have anything in them. It's a very boring museum, I don't think it's worth it even if the ticket costs only 1 euro, it's a total waste of your time and money to go here.

It is true that it isn’t a big activity and it all is kind of old, but is was only 5 euro each, know what to expect. It was cool being there and seeing all the sea creatures. Our little one loved it there. The octopus and the murene’s where the coolest to see.

It is a small aquarium. I went to check it out strictly due to its unusual and stunning Imperial Italian architecture from the days of Rhodes' old glory as part of Italian Empire. From the historical standpoint, it is a very interesting building. I wish it was better maintained, as it is in a state of slight disrepair at the moment.

Get to know local underwater life! Quite a nice bunch of fish, crabs, and other creatures - but a bit small place and is quite quickly walked through. The "tunnel" was interesting though! If marine life does interest, I would pay a visit! If it does not interest at all, then this place does not offer anything.

Small aquarium with lots of fish and other sea creatures to see, it was nice. Not an expert but the tanks seemed too small and creatures in petting pool looked worrisome. Also the pool should ne supervised. Guy at the entrance selling tickets couldn't be more indifferent. Looks like owners don't really care about animals' well-being since there were no rules or anyone looking after visitors anywhere.

Very extraordinary aquarium by interior. The place is small yet very interesting and cool. I really enjoyed looking sea-life whilst walking like in an underwater caves.

Didn't take long to get round the aquarium 6 euros for adult 4 for students/OAP. Some tanks look bit small. Good place to visit if weather not great

Hieman pieni paikka, meillä kesti kiertää sen ympäri n. 15 minuuttia. Se oli kuitenkin halpa. Mielenkiintoisia lajeja siellä. Suosittelen käymään, jos olet todella kiinnostunut lähiympäristön merenelävistä.

Very limited, very dim inside, hard to read labels. Many of the small tanks don't appear to contain the species listed. One fish in the main central tank was upside down at the bottom of the tank - only movement was the tiniest flicker of its gill flaps, clearly on deaths doorstep but no vet or staff on site beside the man in the front desk. Relatively cheap but still feels like a rip off. Don't waste your money. In dire need of upgrading, modernising and staff who care about the animals they're supposed to be caring for.

Ihan ok, muutama laji mitä ei ole nähnyt. Pienellä rahalla mukava paikka. On varmaan joskus ollut paljon suurempi.

Worth to visit. Ticket is 5,50 euros per person. Looks like from 1970 but very nice. Not crowded. We were lucky to see the battle of crabs. Is was really amazing! The interesting fact is that the aquarium takes water directly from the sea, from a depth of 40 metres.

Really small but the children liked it and the possibility to touch a living sea star. Not to compare with a modern eg sea life aquarium but you can spend 30 minutes if you like.

Nice experience if you're around and wish to have a quick experience, not sure I'd take the effort to get there unless I'm around. It cost us a mere EUR 4 per person so legitimate value for money.

The aquarium is neither big nor impressive, but the main gallery has a peculiar (and beautiful) architecture. Overall, a pleasant experience, although I found the price a little bit too high.

It is nice and interior is very interesting, like a cave. Recommend the visit.

It is a nice place to visit with kids. You can see some of the sea life in the area and there are some skeletons as well. The price is 5.5€ for adults and kids for free. It is wheelchair accessible as well.

The aquarium was ok, we had happy time there. Not all the exhibits are as nice, but it was still a nice experience and some cool fishes to look at. We liked that they've made it look like you're walking in a cave. The kids loved to touch the animals in the small touchy-feely pool, although I felt pity for them... 🙈

My 3years old daughter was excited about this place and asked for visiting again and again. So during 13 days we were there 3 times. Contact part of aquarium at the end of exposition is amazing

Very nice place to visit while staying in Rodos. Not too big but not too small as well. The atmosphere was captivating as it felt like we were underwater. Huge variation of marine wildlife.

My 7 year old daughter really loves this place. It's a bit small compared to other aquariums we have visited but you see a lot. There is no gift shop. Please remember to take your corona pass and id.
