great 9d experience !!! history of rodos from ancient times with rodos colossus explained and other very interesting stuff - movie has two parts and second is for kids as it’s just a ride with greek ancient heroes - watch out if your stomach is soft because it’s a jeep trip trough tough roads ! nice place to check when you want to learn about rodos !

This was an unique escapade for us. The 9D cinema was such a cool experience, it really helps understanding the city. There is also a lot of info that you can read on the walls before or after seeing the movie. Friendly and smiling staff.

Worth seeing at the beginning of your trip to Rhodes to understand the history of the island in a fun way. It wasn't very busy, we bought our tickets at the entrance without having to wait & they gave us 1€ vouchers for the aquarium

This was a fun break, especially for a 12 year old missing his video games. It was a great a way to learn about Rhodes.

We visited after visiting the nearby aquarium and were given discounted entries because of this. The video is informative and very interesting, with the second one being a fun video that made everyone laugh. The extra effects during the first video caught us off guard and helped us to enjoy the experience even more. I would definitely recommend Throne of Helios to others who are considering visiting.

Excellent experience, detailing in a very short time, the history of Rhodes. The seats move about and shake like a funfair ride, and at various stages, you get wet. You also have the experience of things hitting your feet during explosions, earthquakes, etc. There are two films, which last a combined 30 minutes, using 3d glasses. At €13, it seems expensive, but it's well worth the visit.

The Throne of Helios presents the history of Rhodes in a very simple and captivating way. The 9D effects make it fun, there's a lot perspective changing, movement, wind, water splashing, and more. There is a second animated show that was also fun for all age groups. In the entrance area, there's a free exhibition about the island's history in multiple language versions. As the shows start every 30 minutes, there was barely any waiting. Absolutely recommended when in Rhodes town. There's even a 2 Euro discount for senior citizens, but you have to ask for it.

I was only in Rhodes for a day trip so this was a great little place to learn a lot about the history of the island in a short space of time. Large foyer area with lots of interactive material and history/facts about Rhodes before entering theatre for the 9D-cinema experience. This was great fun and lasted for around 20 minutes or so. Very reasonably priced and friendly staff. I would recommend to anyone visiting the town.

This is a really cool experience. It is quite easy to find and there was no wait to get in when we went which was around 7pm. The person selling the tickets was really nice and told us when the next viewing was and where to go. The seats are very comfortable and there is a seat belt on each one for safety as they move a lot in time with the video. You are given 3D glasses and earphones for the audio which comes in several different languages. When the shows are on there is water coming on you and also fake snow. There are 2 shows, one about the history of Rhodes and one is an animated race. The toilets are really clean and there is a small exhibition area where you can read about different historic subjects. Overall a great experience.

Not just 3D - lots to experience, with movement, flashing lights, bubbles, spray and more! Lively and informative - great fun! If you're sensitive to flashing lights, sudden noises it might not be for you though.

Well worth the €13 entrance fee, because not only is this a fully interactive snapshot of the story of this beautiful island, and trust me, the 9D is so good, you will really feel like you're flying, the Hollywood style chariot race is great fun too.

The wife and I are in our mid 30s, parents of kids. We went on vacation without the kids, and this attraction was definitely on the top 3! We haven't had this much fun in years! Great fun for both adults and kids.

Really great thing to do while in Rhodes, highly recommend. It's a 9D cinema experience, 3D glasses, wind, water, motion like a roller coaster. It gives you a brief history of the island from birth till now. Tells you of places in the town and on the island of historical significance to visit ⭐⭐⭐

Fun and novel experience. Short history lesson with moving chairs, wounds, rumble, water, wind, bubbles and foam. The display in the lobby is also well done so prepare some time before or after the show.

The kids loved it. It was nice 30 min relaxing. Still ask myself if it value for the € but if you have kids that can go in by themselves is nice, and i looved that the main film is about the history of the island.

Oh my god, this is awesome. It is a must do - first thing once you get here. The first movie was about the Rhodes island history. The second was just entertainment to get 9D feeling. Cost 22euro for my daughter and I , totally worth it. It was fun. And it’s not everyday you get to watch 9D movie. Staffs were so friendly and helpful. Try to sit up front on roll B, you get closer when the bubbles come.

This was ok and I liked the historical part + you can choose your language. The entrance historical info was nice. Also, staff was very friendly. The systems were quite out of date/chairs and effect machines kept a lot of noice and I have been in some similar places with much more better effects and lower cost. Too much water was splashed also.

Not the worst €26 I've ever spent (for 2) but being sprayed with mysterious fluids and blown from various directions might have been more fun had it not been a family experience. The video manages to be mildly entertaining and even less educational (unless you haven't already read the Wikipedia entry for Rhodes). Probably popular with children and people who like children. The staff were lovely.

Brilliant cinematic experience. Exceeded expectation. Was a great & fun way to learn about Rhodes history & the 3D effects are the best we've experienced. Highly recommended!

Show was great and it was interactive. Water dousing was a bit much but fun all around and worth the money. Gives a brief history of Rhodos and explains the mythology of how Rhodos came to be. I like history so great for me. They also give discounted tickets for the aquarium...

I don't know what I expected really but everything was very well organized, clean and fun! Also air conditioning A+ on a hot day. The small museum part at the lobby was interesting and informative. Very fun way to learn about the history! Second movie is also a lot of fun for adults. Bought tickets beforehand online and everything went smoothly. Stuff is very helpful and friendly with the equipment.
