Great authentic Palestinian food. The Baba’s Falafel is the best in town. The shawarma is also delicious. Be sure to get the kinafa on the days they have it. Their prices are fair and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing food, amazing flavors...a must when in KC. Experience Palestinian food/pantry right in KC. The falafel was great esp with the pickled veggies and tatziki. The show stopper was the Palestinian hummus with in house made Shatta (spicy pepper) dang I could eat that daily. I want to go back with others to share a bunch more items.

I've driven past this place many times and finally got to try it out! Absolutely amazing. I got the falafel sandwich in pita with all of the toppings. This whole thing was $8.99. I ate half for lunch and am saving the other half for "mid day snack" lol. The family who owns this place are sweet as can be, only more reason to come in. The flavors were on point, I can't wait to come back and try something else and pick up some of their canned good as well.

We had such a great experience here. They were very busy (deservedly so), yet the employees were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The simple menu was more than substantial; we had the baba’s falafel, baba’s kebab, fries and mango lemonade. Everything was seasoned to perfection and insanely delicious. Especially the lemonade wow. This place is so deserving of recognition and hopefully quickly becomes a hallmark of Kansas City. Excited to come back to try some of the deli options and more items from the menu.

Baba’s food was so delicious and fresh. We would highly recommend the sandwiches to anyone. The drinks were incredible. Way more than just your average lemonade so don’t pass these up. We got a few of the pantry items too and especially liked the Shatta and olive/sun dried tomato/feta mix. The pita chips were unlike anything I’ve had before and the atmosphere was wonderful.

I love this place and now swing by on a regular basis for lunch. The menu is somewhat limited but what they have is outstanding. Every time I go in, more and more people are there and I understand why. It's good food at a good price point and they're quick at getting orders out. I love the interior and all the other options you can pick up. It feels good to support a local restaurant in this part of town. I'll definitely be back.

This was my first time here and this is easily the best Middle Eastern food I've ever had in KC! The Chicken schwarma pita wrap was loaded with chicken and vegetables. The baklava here is very good too. 10/10

Baba’s Pantry is an excellent option for catering, in addition to the lovely restaurant and deli. I arranged to pick up a hummus platter, baba ganoush platter, and pitas for a small reception. I knew the food would be delicious, but the beautiful presentation was a plus.

Delicious. And so vibrant. I'm still dreaming of the lemonade, which had some strange, almost floral taste to it, but it was so tasty and refreshing. The beef kebab was amazing, my BF had the falafel and he said it was amazing.

Was in KC for a mini vacation to see some friends. We decided to head to Baba's Pantry for a mid afternoon meal(I had the Baba Kebab in a pita). The reviews weren't wrong. The place was amazing. Staff was incredibly friendly, food was great and the atmosphere was nice. Great setting and all sorts of stuff to look at. Before leaving I bought some pita chips(best I've ever had) and some various cheeses and dips. Everything was tasty. My only regret was not buying more. Had my eyes on some of their jarred pickled products but passed them up. I definitely won't make that mistake again. Also. The falafel. Get them! Tried a friend's and they were wonderful!

Excellent, unassuming spot for mediterranean / Palestinian cuisine. Try something new! Whether its their Turkish coffee or the first Shawarma you have ever had, Baba’s Pantry never fails to impress so you will walk away knowing you had a well prepared meal!

First time here. Excellent selection of sandwiches, desserts, and other delectables. I had a falafel sandwich and added pickled turnips and some garlic thing. Spicy. You can sit down or eat outside. They even gave me a sample of apricot mascarpone with a bit of pita bread. Really good.

Baba's Pantry is an incredibly soulful and vibrant family-owned restaurant that makes the best Middle Eastern food I've had in Kansas City (or perhaps anywhere). Upon entering, you will be treated to a feast of the eyes, as the restaurant is tastefully decorated to celebrate the owner's Palestinian heritage. Baba's makes one feel at home while simultaneously transporting you to The Levant. My order was diligently taken by Yahia, who very kindly answered questions I had concerning the toppings of their pitas. I ordered a pita with chicken shawarma, tahini sauce, pickled turnips, and shatta. For the uninitiated like myself, shatta is a mix of jalapenos, garlic, walnuts, olive oil, and herbs. The pita came with choice of fries or side salad (Salata Arabi), I opted for the salad and some basil lemonade to wash it all down. My dining experience at Baba's was positively transcendent. The chicken in the pita was perfectly spiced and cooked, giving it a rich flavor with a pleasant amount of heat. The toppings on the pita struck a beautiful balance of flavors and textures that married perfectly with the chicken. With all of this being lovingly tucked into 2 wonderfully fluffy pieces of pita bread, I can comfortably say it was the best pita I've ever had. The Salata Arabi was fresh and crisp, with a surprising yet delightful hint of mint. Less surprisingly, the basil lemonade was fantastic. Like everything else I ordered, you could taste the love and care that had gone into preparing it. Baba's Pantry has, in a single visit, won itself a lifelong customer. My compliments to Baba for putting together a truly singular restaurant, a beautiful family, and the best chicken shawarma in the city.
