👍 Such a beautiful remodel but no padding on the benches is very uncomfortable. Nice sofa out front for cocktails. Nice patio door to outside seating. Fast fresh and large quantities of food. Very clean. The BBQ Pizza is wonderful and can feed five people! Ask for extra limes. Don’t order shrimp tacos... People often mention restaurant, service,

Food was amazing! Service was not very attentive for a 1 pm time. My steak was cooked perfectly and the presentation was beautiful. The beans were a plain paste, I would pass on them next time. My grilled jalapeño was delicious. I will be back and give the service another try.

My biggest “complaint” is the amount of grease on the food, specifically the quesadillas. It got to the point where we had to get a napkin and wipe off the dripping grease coming off of it. The food itself was good and regardless of grease, I will be back and hopeful it’s not like that every time. But for now, a solid 4 stars makes the most sense for me and my first time experience.

This has to be my favorite Mexican restaurant in NWA! So fresh and tasty. The portion sizes are just right. I’ve had everything from the carnitas to tacos, and they never fail. The service here is great! The food is always hot and well seasoned! Pictured here is the tacos dish, you get to chose any 3 meats you want. I recommend at least trying the carne asada mixed with chorizo! Update - My new favorite dish - Pollo Alejo, with poblano sauce. The strawberry margarita is awesome!

This is an amazing Mexican, authentic restaurant. The decor is well appointed and modern, the food is delicious and fresh, the service is friendly and responsive! I can't recommend this locally owned restaurant enough. If you are in downtown Springdale, absolutely make this a must do, and you'll return often! I'm counting down until I can get back there! We had burritos, tacos, queso, brirria tacos, quesadillas; all wonderful. Also. They have "Mexican" Coke, made with real sugar.

Husband and I tried this place for the first time today. I can confidently say we will be back as often as we can. The food is SO good. I’ve never picked a favorite restaurant but this place is it, by leaps and bounds. I had the birriamen and he had the waffle fry nachos, we both tried each others dishes and were blown away. Scout was our waitress and her customer service was amazing, she was very friendly funny and knowledgable about the menu! The food… I don’t even have words for the food. Its so good. Give it a shot and you will not be sorry.

An interesting name for the restaurant. I really doubt that a person would leave home if they had food this good. I would consider Casa Alejo a New Mex (trendy, chic, hip) restaurant with traditional authentic roots. Not to be confused with New Mexican. As an example, some of the items from the menu: PizzaBirra, BirriaRamen, and Waffle Fry Nachos. Authentic with a modern twist. Refreshing! It was tough to decide what to try. With a little imagination I could taste the flavor coming from the picture of the Arrachera; carne asada done right. The magnificent looking carnitas won the photo contest though. My choice. Delivered to the table was a platter of perfect pork, tender, juicy on the inside and crispy fried crunch on the outside. Rice, beans, guacamole and a chunky avocado salsa, completed the meal. Excellent and recommended. My wife went with the Poblanas. Three steak filled enchiladas covered with a very rich, and savory, mild poblano pepper sauce. Another excellent meal. Perfect salsas (hot and mild), and great service in a modern comfortable restaurant with a full bar. The quality of this restaurant is backed up by over one hundred perfect reviews on Google (4.9-stars) Springdale has been rejuvenating their downtown, with beautiful upgrades to the street, sidewalk and landscaping. It is looking very nice. The street in front of Casa Alejo is now open so, close parking is again available. Enjoy! Excellent food. The PizzaBirria was great. Good service, not a typical NWA Mexican restaurant. We will absolutely be back.
