I've eaten here many times in the past and it is by far my favorite pizza place in the Joplin area. The service was good and the food was amazing however the overall cleanliness was far from where it should have been. In my pictures you will see several dirty tables they were dirty when I walked in and they were dirty when I left. They had time to walk around and stack some of the cups and plates nice but did not take them off the tables even though on occasion I saw some waitresses just standing around. But overall experience was great.

Atmosphere was good. Salad was amazing. We ordered the deluxe deep dish Chicago style pizza. Didn't really care for it due to the amount of water in the marinara which the crust had no problem soaking up and turning to mush. Will definitely come back again but just going to try a regular pizza.

There are not many pizza places that I enjoy the crust... but Gusano’s got it right! We tried the chicken bacon ranch and the big cheese with a classic crust and then a deluxe Chicago style. They were all delicious! Looking forward to another visit next time we’re in town!

I have eaten at the Bella vista location recently, and it was delicious,it definitely did not disappoint! Tonight we stoped at the Joplin location and called in a chicken bacon ranch pizza which was delicious and we wish we ordered a bigger size. We asked for paper plates and we only needed two but they were thin so we got four. Our server was Kelsey, the bathrooms were so clean and everyone was super sweet!

Really and I mean really good pizza place the service was kinda slow but the place was packed so it was to be expected it's also really kid friendly, like thing about a late 1900's Pizzeria and you got their walls I'm somewhat serious about that, the walls had these little "Doodles" that were drawn in a cartoonish kinda and was somewhat an old school design but it was still a every cool drawing as you don't see that everyday. They also had many different sports team signs hanging on their walls as well most of witch I saw were football teams. Their pizza atleast, the cheese pizza was okay but still pretty good, their bread/cheese sticks are another story though, I had gotten them because I love all bread/cheese sticks and I was with my family as, a few days after we went (three to be exact) was my mother's birthday and, when I say those things got wiped out I'm telling you they were absolutely obliterated by my family I barely even got any of the bread/cheese sticks. It is kind of expensive but it's still worth a visit once if your in the area and can afford it.

I get the deluxe pizza and it is great. Lot of flavor and an 8 inch is just perfect size for me. The layout is neat and has things to keep the kids busy while waiting

We were with a party of 15 last Sat. We tried making reservations but were told they don't take them. However, we have made them in the past. As a result, our server was frazzled. We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks and our pizza was not hot once it was brought to us. It will be a while before we go back.

This was our first visit to Gusano's, we were there in support of the Webb City Little League team doing a fund raiser. Kudos to Gusano's for supporting the community. The place was packed out. I never had Chicago- style pizza before, so I went with the Carnivore, and it was delicious. The spicy red sauce really has the best flavor. My wife chose the spinach calzone, which she enjoyed. The portions were big enough that we brought home enough for another meal. ENJOY!

Gusano's did taste good. We had the Cesar salad that had a little kick to it, which was a nice surprise. We also ordered the grubs choice Chicago style pizza. The pizza tasted good and the toppings were made like a Chicago style pizza, however the crust was NOT Chicago style crust. It was thin and tasted like a cracker. So the crust brought it down to 4 stars. Atmosphere and servers were fine, nothing stood out.

This location has a college town feel to it and has a great staff. Food is delicious just wish they had more options.

Ordered a deep dish Chicago style pizza and got a pan full of tomato sauce and crushed tomatoes. It was the worst pizza I ever tried to eat. There was absolutely no cheese on this glob of whatever it was. The crust was cracked and broken it was awful. Have had regular pizza here and it was good.

A few weeks back I got a Caesar salad, pizza and calzone for takeout. First of all the length of time that I was told the order would be done in was actually twice as long so my wait was quite a while. However I figured if we enjoyed the food then it would be worth the wait. However the pizza and the calzone were both were so incredibly salty that we could hardly eat them. One highpoint was a Caesar salad that was really good. You need to seriously look at the content of salt in your food and your ingredients.

Live music was an added bonus to the authentic Chicago style and delicious traditional pizzas! I would recommend the dirty bird to all who love spicy pizza

Sports bar atmosphere. Loud acoustics with lots of tvs with sports games on. Service was fast and unobtrusive. Texas Iced Tea was as advertised: Long Island Iced Tea with a whiskey kick. Dirty Bird pizza didn’t have as much flavor as I wanted, but The Carnivore delivered. The cheesy breadsticks appetizer was my favorite part of the meal. Overall a pleasant experience, but didn’t blow us away.

Gusanos has some of the best pizza around. The Ditka is where it's at. The spinach artichoke appetizer is amazing also. Will be back.

Yes, I would like a large chicago-style pizza with a rubbery crust and a gallon and a half of raw tomato sauce. No problem. We'll have it out as soon as we can in an hour! Yep! Won't be back.

First of all; Food was Great!!! Our waitress on the other hand not so. We wanted to try here because it says Chicago Style pizza. When our pizza came it wasn’t Chicago style, so my husband asked her about it. Her reply was “Yes we have that”. I said to her that’s what we were expecting because the sign says Chicago style pizza. I feel if they offered others style pizzas she should have asked if we wanted Chicago style or regular or whatever. Then she came out with bread pizza with cheese on it and my error for thinking it came with the dinner. We never ordered it. She never came and refilled our drinks our asked how the dinner food was. Then we we got up to pay she whispered something to the cashier and pointed to us. Not cool.

Very impressed, we will be back. Great food, service and reasonable prices. Beer selection is among the best in Joplin.

Great pizza! My husband and I each got a 10" traditional crust and there was plenty for leftovers! We went right at lunch time and it wasn't busy and didn't take too long to get our food. Caesar salad & breadsticks also good!

The food is fantastic!! But the service was really bad. We were supposed to get plates and silverware but our waitress didn't come back, and after 5 minutes of having our food infront of us, I had to get up and ask someone else for plates and silverware. We asked for something again...and again, she didn't come back. Then we asked for a box and nothing. We were really surprised when she showed up some time later and addled if we needed boxes. They also got my pizza wrong but it took a long time to get our food so I didn't want to wait all over again.

I have loved this place since I moved here, however tonight the staff was rude and unfriendly. The waitress was ok, but it was the desk staff and kitchen staff that were wandering around that were the problem. The food was as good as ever though!
