Simply one of the best car museums I have ever seen. The 1936 Cord, Kaiser Darrin, DeLorian, and several Auburns took my breath away. Many british sports cars all beautiful. I liked that many cars were original, others expertly restored. I love hot rods and customs but it's great to see so many rare original cars A car museum not to be missed

Interesting collection of many different types of vintage automobiles. Collection included a couple of novelty cars - Ghostbusters and Batmobile. Took us about 45 minutes to see everything. 15$ Entry fee is expensive compare to heart of route 66 car museum in Tulsa which is 6.5$ . We always look for auto museums to go see when we are on vacation so it was a no brained to visit this one. There were quite a few rare vehicles that I had never heard of before. Plus, there were a couple of movie vehicles (batmobile and the Ghostbusters station wagon). If you are looking for muscle cars, you might be a little disappointed. There was a Camaro and a couple of Corvettes, but that’s all I saw. I really enjoyed seeing the vehicles from the 30s and earlier.

This is a very nice small car museum with a wide variety of brands and styles of vehicles. All of the vehicles are in very good condition. The is ample parking and it's very easy to find.

This place was amazing. Great famous cars there like the Batmobile, Ecto 1 and back to the future car. Great Cadillacs and old bangers which look amazing. The lay out is a bit cramped but they fit as many cars as possible. Super fun for the family especially for men. But ladies who like cars would love this place.

Even if a car is only transportation, seeing this exhibit will excite anyone. Some cars are over a hundred years old and still road running. Highly recommend a visit. Come relive gas prices under 50 cent, when a stationwagon was a vehicle to transport passengers from the train station to the hotel. See a T-bird on 66 and have fun until daddy takes it away.

My Wife and I stopped by on May 17,2023 and enjoyed it very much. Being from Wisconsin it was our first stop on a 19 day 5047 mile vacation car trip. It was well worth stopping for. The fellow behind the counter was very friendly and knew all about the cars.

Worth a stop! The building is also historic--it is where the generators for the Hoover Dam were built. The building is very industrial and not like a pretty museum. They have a great selection of really pristine cars. Plan on at least an hour. I spent about 1.5 but I tend to go slowly. I think the $15 + tax entry is a bit on the high side.

My wife found this place on the way to our travels. What a surprise. The building did not look all that big. I believe it was someone's private collection. They had a few very rare cars, that I had never seen. Some cars were famous, such as the Batmobile and the Ghostbusters car, the Batmobile is a replica that was created after the TV show. Some other cars were little known makes or models. It was well worth the visit.

A hidden gem! We're not car enthusiasts by far, but do appreciate the beauty and incredible aspects of these man-made tools and works of art. Loved talking to the curator. The admission fee was a surprise @ first, but easily understood once we realized the value of this museum. We picked our dream cars (haha) and ended buying some great souvenirs from the wares that were really for sale. At least the ones we could afford. Will leave it to the pros for those cars like some of the celebrities who had owned them! Definitely recommend this for anyone who appreciates gorgeous cars from bygone eras, and for anyone who should be introduced to them!

Loved this place! They have a bat car from Gotham City! The Ghostbusters car and a slew of other beautiful vehicles! We had a chance to meet the owners. I'm glad we did. We would definitely go back!

Really good variety of all kinds of cars, some from movies. And restored cars that used to cruise Route 66. A must see!

This place is worth spending some real time! The cars are beautiful, lots of memorabilia from different decades and of course, Rt. 66 gifts and souvenirs. I highly recommend this place!

The best car museum ever!!! Cozy and just beautiful. So much better than all the big ones we have visited.

Had a great time viewing the excellent selection of surprisingly rare vehicles! Mainly American and European with a healthy variety in model years from 1907 to the early 2000’s! The plaques have interesting info on all vehicles! The only thing I’d like to see is more hoods open on cars after 1930’s but I understand that more modern cars might be subject to being messed with if that’s the case. Overall great experience and selection. The antique store accessible though the back is also a treat!

I'm from Detroit. I grew up at the Henry Ford and seeing the automobile museum there. I love cars. This museum was worth checking out. Some very unique cars here. A good handful are described as still running and taken out from time to time. I would love to see that! Cute gift shop. Friendly greeter. Pictures are allowed and encouraged. No touching the cars or getting inside. Very cool old memorabilia and signs hanging on the wall. Interesting old telegram asserting that Springfield MO officials were responsible for naming it Rte 66. Go here! Great place to go if the weather isn't cooperating.

We got married here very short notice and they were really amazing to work with! Vicki did an awesome job helping us pull this off last minute when weather forced us to do a venue change.

A good collection of cars from this century. I am always glad to see someone keeping history alive. I certainly would have like to taken a few of them out for a drive. While I love looking at the old cars I would have loved to have taken the Dodge Viper out for a spin ;-)

The staff is very friendly and was willing to answer any question. We loved all the old cars and spent a lot of time looking around. This is a must stop when you visit Springfield whether you like old cars or not.

Very cool museum. Most cars, many of them rare, are actually kept in running condition.

Lots if unique vehicles. Very nice collection. Mostly, the cars are well cared for, other than the DeLorean, which was backed into a wall. Plan to spend 2-3 hours to really look at each vehicle. The exterior is not promising, at all.

This is a really solid collection of cars with models spanning over a century in time. The admission price is a great value. My wife and I spent a little over two hours strolling up and down the rows of cars and really enjoyed the variety. Each car has a short printed description telling what makes that particular car special. One of the better private collections I've seen.

This was a very fun car museum. We spent several hours looking at all the cars. The owner was giving a group a tour and tell stories about some of the cars. That was very interesting to hear about some of them. Many many very neat cars from throughout the history of automobiles. Well worth your time to stop and see it. If it is during hot weather go early in the day, it can get warm in there. I know took lots of pictures but the only I could find on here was of the Ghost Busters wagon. I will go back next time I am in the area.
