We have been trying to get to Blue Rock Springs to play a round for sometime now.And it was very well worth the drive of an hour to play here. My wife Margie and I played the East course and we were pleased with the conditions and the layout. And according to the pro shop the West course is more preferred by the regulars, I can't wait to get back and take a shot at that side. The course is carved out in the hills and valleys naturally. With the tee boxes utilizing the elevation differences in a challenging fashion to make you choose the club choice carefully. And I say carefully because there is just enough wind to make ball placement seen harder than you might expect. And I can't leave without giving a shot out to the greens keepers because these were some very nicely kept greens and consistant with roll. Next time maybe I can win.

Course is short, not particularly challenging. Fairway is in decent condition all things considered (drought). The views are nice. Range is decent. However, they need marshalls. Pace of play is the worst of any golf course I’ve played this year. Im not playing this course again. To their credit, the staff was super friendly and have offered me rainchecks (course credit) for rounds that were cut short due to pace of play. That said, I have no intentions of going back. Overall, this course has potential but isnt managing pace of play well enough to be worth playing. Avoid this course at all costs. Update 11/21 - pace of play is averging 6 hours over 10 rounds. Just left the third hole after 1.5 hours 12/2 - another slow round, waiting before every shot. Marshalls do nothing. Why did they close san geronimo but keep this dump open? Im about tostart fighting these slow golfers, maybe that’ll speed things up. And who lets handicapped ppl on a golf course?

Played today this Holiday East Course. Very hilly and surprised with the amount of slope. Greens were aerated recently but playable. They were also extremely fast. Additionally some fairways are ridiculously narrow. One thing as well, when checking in the front desk staff were complaining to each other about Brian and an email. I understand today’s workload is harder and be happy for those who show up. But complaining about management in front of customers is bad business.

This course is better than a lot of the surrounding areas. It's typically 36 dollars for 18 with a cart after 3pm weekdays. The traps need some love, sand is tough right now. Fairways are great, greens are nice. Both courses are fun, East is easier, West is a bit nicer. Great deal and with 2 courses almost always a tee time. Driving range is big and nice mats too. Martinez resident that will continue to come over in lieu of playing franklin canyon or surrounding places.

I love Blue rock. Beautiful courses and green fees are affordable. The staff is professional and friendly and the atmosphere is similarly laid back and inclusive. Played 72 holes in the last 2 days here. East course is challenging and hilly, west course is more scorable but its all good vibes out here. Its how golf is supposed to be in my opinion. I might move to vallejo so I can play blue rock everyday. Speaking of that they have the best membership deal I've ever seen. Two courses for the price of one. Come experience it for yourself if you're ever in the area. You won't be dissapointed.

Not in excellent shape but good shape… Personnel were friendly. Update 8/16. Blue rock loses some stars… 100° weather and not one drop of water on 18 holes. When I complained the response was that they took the water off the course during Covid. They have a big sign that prohibits outside beverages on the course… Go figure. The greens are in great condition however the fairways were spotty… because of a lack of water and care for the golfers… I probably won’t play here again with my golf club.

If you like golf you will love these 2 18 hole courses. West course is challenging to test your skills and East course is more wide open and fun. Beautiful views on both courses. Your problems melt away as you focus on the delightful scenery and and cool layout. The cafe doesn't look the best, but it is not bad and has great views of some of the West holes. Nice conference room above for events. The staff has been helpful and if I had to describe this course, I would call it an underrated hidden gem. It is far from me but my wife and I like to slip away to have a romantic round of golf here when we can. Highly recommend.

I attended a women's golf tournament at Blue Rock Springs Golf Club. The east course was a challenge. Uphill, downhill, & 90 degree dog legs fairways. There was bare patches or exposed dirt in most fairways but that didn't detract from the overall beauty of the course for me.

I play here often. There is a younger man that works in the pro shop and is pretty rude, unwelcoming, and unprofessional (or something close to it). They also have not been good about communicating when parts of the course are closed and whether we should be starting our round on the back 9, etc. The food is ok, but the golf carts are a little problematic. I'll continue to come here because it's a decent course, but it loses a star for the problems with customer service.

Had a great time playing the East course. Had some beer and great food after golf, very cost friendly and a great way to spend a day. Blue Rock is a lot of fun. We'll come back. Thanks!

Nice clubhouse and friendly staff. Overall course condition is great! Nice view in many holes. Not a very challenging course but still you will find some fun out from here.

Wow, we were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this course was. It was challenging but not overly difficult. The pace of play on a busy Saturday was faster than expected. Great course

We played east course which is very hilly. Condition was very good, green was incredibly treacherous at times. Lovely course and we had a great time

I do like both of your courses, but PACE OF PLAY. Please have an employee make a lap of the courses once in awhile to check the pace. I'd play here more if it wasn't for unmanaged play. Tee time of 9 am, finished at 2:30pm. That is insane. It's happened on either course. Or allow more time between tee times.

Beautiful and challenging course, especially in the wind. I’m around a handicap 14 and shot a 92. There are water hazards, trees, OB, big hills and plenty of bunkers. I’d definitely play here again.

We hosted our first ever golf event at Blue Rock. I cannot recommend this course enough. It was my first time playing the west course. Not only was the course in great condition but the staff Ashley and Luke made planning our event a breeze. They both responded quickly to all our questions/requests and on the day of the event had everything set up perfectly. Thank you so much! We cannot wait to have our event at Blue Rock again next year.

The hilly East crs layout is interesting & challenging. It is not easy to maintain a hilly course & there are a few areas in the fairways that are almost bare but overall the course condition is good. Today the East crs greens were recovering from being aerated & sanded.

Suggestions for the range, make it double decker! Put solar panels on top. Also folks need an accurate yardage for the markers. I enjoy our courses.

This is a nice course, played the east course; Decent shape; Many of the cart paths lead into the next tee box (Watch out!) Great local course but I would not travel too far to play this trek; No drinking water on the course

Excellent course and experience at the East course today. Variety of par 3/4/5. Some holes are very scenic. Big and lush green fairways (in early Jan). Highly recommend this course. Will play again.

😠 4 Stars? Not even 1! This place is in terrible shape, I hate to say that this was once one of the best Bay Area gems, unfortunately it needs a new groundskeeper, ground crew, whatever! This neglected, flooded fairways, torn up tee boxes, diseased greens, and poor course management is plain to...

👍👍 Absolutely lovely place! This is such a wonderful tasting room in a very unique house on Mare Island. The atmosphere is very chill and inviting and the staff is friendly and kind. (Tom is great!) 😠 The owner was extremely rude. she snatched a banner off of the wall slammed her hands on the table and started screaming at us. She referred to us as “you people” and accused us of smoking weed.
