The experience at Shangrila hotel is very nice except the tiles in the bathroom. The tiles are slippery and proven to be dangerous. Anyone visiting this be cautious about the bathroom tiles....

The review is for bar staff. I've been going to the Baccarat bar and lounge for years. Hands down, it used to be my favorite place in midtown. It's chic, nice, and classy. Today I came with my friend and at the bar. There was not many people but 4-5 bartenders. After 15 minutes of talking to my friend, nobody even came to me to ask what I want to get. It was only the beginning. Then bartenders spent a lot of time entertaining, making drinks and pouring water into glasses of our neighbors but not us. Every time I needed something, I had to catch the attention of a bartender. The most "bright" moment of my experience was the situation when a bartender poured water into a glass of my neighbor totally ignoring my empty glass. I wanted to have another drink, but nobody even bothered to ask me. I brought it to the attention of a manager. He didn't apologies which I think was weird, spoke to a bartender who came to me looking like he's doing a favor and asked a question where is your water glass while another one was is an empty glass from a drink. When I go to such a place and pay $29 per drink, I expect a different service. It's a shame that my favorite place is not a favorite anymore. Guys, it's not acceptable to treat people so different and provide such a poor service.

Nice place for organising small or medium size parties like birthdays, anniversaries. Staff is well behaved, cooperative. Food is very good, but they lack variety. Air conditioned rooms are also available. Parking space is sufficient for 20-25 vehicles.
