Wonderful find on our way to Wisconsin. Great people and delicious food

Local joint with the yummiest food. We aren’t local and were in town to pick up some furniture from Craigslist. Stopped in for a sandwich and a burger. The owner took our order. You can tell they pride themselves in quality and taste. Atmosphere is very homey. Wish I could give them 10 stars out of 5. If you’re going for sandwich, go for chicken pesto. So good.

Always a pleasure! Awesome food and wonderful service! A little costly, but you get what you pay for. Parking was the only down fall for me, had to park two blocks away.

I have always enjoyed this restaurant. I used to work in Marengo and this place is literally the only reason I come back to said town. The food is always great and so is the service. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing. I have seen the same people working every time I come here which is probably why the quality and service has always been superb.

Really nice store. I ate very well, and it's fair. I don't usually eat, I went out of my comfort zone and was amazed it was great.

Food is good until they start use salt . Almost every time we must ask to be careful with salt if we don't, then we are not able to eat this. Also don't be surprised when you go there and will be closed even when should be open. They don't care for your plans for lunch or dinner. They close whenever they want it.

Sally hands down makes the best cookies and carrot cake! My fav lunch food is the caprese salad. Oh, try the espresso too

Sandwiches are always made with fresh, healthy ingredients that taste good and prices are very reasonable. Service is good but can get pretty busy at lunchtime.

I have driven by Flatlander for years on my way up to Fontana, WI, and finally stopped yesterday for a sandwich. I felt like I was stepping back in time. Upon walking in, I was greeted with a warm smile and hello by five workers in this family-run establishment. While waiting for my sandwich, I checked the history adoring the place's walls. You can eat in, but I got my order for takeout. My club sandwich came with some of the best homemade chips I have had, and it was great! Don’t forget to grab a homemade cookie (chocolate chip was my choice, but they all looked great). In the future, we will remember that we can pre-order and pick it up on our way up. Shout out to the family for working hard all week and taking the weekend off! Thank you.
