This is a wonderful facility with lots of amenities. It's also centrally located. However, housekeeping is only done upon request. They didn't clean the waste baskets or refill the coffee on my two nights day.

The front desk was extremely nice and welcoming. Clean room and the amenities were perfect. Internet speeds were perfect and I could stream movies and games.

I was not very satisfied with this place. I booked a room with snacks and drinks. Didn't pay too much more but still I didn't get what I paid for!! There was nothing but 2 bottles of water that if you are not a silver member, which I am almost there, had to pay $2 dollars. I then had to pay $12. 95 per person for breakfast!! Come on most places have free breakfast for guests!! Good thing I didn't want to swim!! There was serious issues with it having a bubbly foam floating on top!! Unfortunately I don't t think I will stay here again. Hilton has high standards and unfortunately you didn't live up to it for me!!

I stayed at this location for a weekend because I was in town for a wedding. Great location around quite a few places that I needed to visit for my short stay. Yet, the downfall of this establishment as I was there I noticed that I did not get housekeeping the next morning, so I proceed to go to the front desk to get towels that was need, and see why housekeeping did not come around for the day. I was told it is only upon request which I feel should have been told to me once I checked in instead of me having to inquire about it. Secondly, I was told someone would bring the towels to my room which someone did about 30 minutes later.Which cause a little frustration because why would a guest have to wait that long. Lastly, on Sunday when I checked out , and less than an hour I receive my email as I was on the road going home I see that there is a cleaning fee for $250 on my invoice. I reach out to the hotel for them to explain to me that I was charged for smoking when I am not a smoker. They stated that they found tobacco shavings in the garbage. If you are going to accuse someone of smoking they will have to come better than that who really check garbage bags to see if someone has been smoking. This is absurd, and makes this my first time to the property, and the last!! I will tell anyone that books for this location to be very careful about the things they do to overcharge you to make money or get brownie points. I travel a lot for work, and have never had experience such foolery. #Hilton Garden Dump!!!

Breakfast was weird. There was a half buffet but you could order whatever hot food you wanted. It's been a while since I've been on vacation. I'm used to buffet style everything even for hot food. Rooms were clean. Service was good. Pool was small. Great location near the mall.

Marilyn at the front desk totally made this a 5star review! She went out of her way to make our stay a great one! The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the location was great for nearby attractions and the price was decent.

I have stayed here multiple times for work and would highly recommend it. The location is great, the staff is always professional. I have also booked conference rooms here and I had an awesome experience. I definitely would recommend this hotel.

Charged us $368 for the stay, then an additional $318 for nothing. Called them about it, they're claiming it's an authorization for the stay WHICH THEY ALREADY CHARGED US FOR!! Absolutely insane, never had that happen with any hotel we stayed at. Will never stay there again, be cautious while booking, they will charge you more!

The excellent service and wonderful staff made my stay at this HGI very enjoyable. The rooms are super outdated and kind of gross. Good news is they are doing a full renovation. Yay

I have been coming here since February 2020. What started out as a staycation ( I’m from Palatine), is now my getaway spot (moved to Milwaukee a few years ago),several times a year. I’ve always had an amazing experience each time; the restaurant and bar are my favorite part! Daveeeeeeeed is the best- make sure you say hi to him when you pop down for a meal and/or drinks. The front desk is always friendly. Many of the same staff from 3 years ago are still there; that tells you something. My favorite place to stay!

Excellent place to stay. Clean, delicious breakfast, great staff, especially John from the kitchen who took very good care of us, and told us the best places to go.

We did same day online booking (Breakfast included in onlinebooking) (literally booked at the hotel parking lot). Hotel is in a great location (close to the mall, restaurants, and parks). The staff was nice and welcoming (Answered all our questions). My son enjoyed the pool (5am swim). Rooms were clean and comfortable (Bed was very comfortable, great night sleep/ also walls are pretty thin, can hear the people in next room). Very relaxing atmosphere overall including the lobby and bar/restaurant area (open till 10pm). Will definitely recommend this place to others and visit again. Thank you for the amazing service.

Although the online check-in was terrible along with the customer service rep, my experience was great. This was a pet friendly hotel and you couldn't tell they were there. Rooms were great and clean. The breakfast staff were friendly and attentive. Location was perfect for shopping and eateries. The highway is right there. If you have a toll way pass it would be better. Handicapped parking is limited and there's a slope to get up in the front. Overall it was a good experience..

Cheap hotel, needs alot of work, some of it is slowly being done outside. I would not go back to this hotel again. Friendly staff, just an older place that needs some updating. Ohh and the 2 elevators and the waiting game for this is not cool.

Great staff… super-friendly and accommodating. Rooms are, well, unimpressive. Lots and lots of cigarette butts outside every entrance. Good conference facilities

About as good as you can get for a 3 star hotel. I checked in and asked for a quiet room as I am a business traveler and mainly I just want a quiet place to rest when at a hotel. The lady checking me in put me on the sixth floor at the end of the hallway which meant she listened to my request which was appreciated. Although, there were several groups in the hotel with teens i didn’t have any noise bothering me. Also, the hotel is in sort of a business park tucked behind the main road which means no street noise. Nice quiet area while still being near the mall. One thing I am finicky about is water pressure when showering and it was good which made my morning. There were bottles of water in the room that you could purchase for $2 and I appreciated having that option. All in all I had no complaints staying here and would recommend the hotel.

Rooms were nice and very clean. My only issue was that the fan on the HVAC was too strong and even on low created a strong breeze in the room. Service at the front desk wasvery good to excellent. The service in the restaurant/ bar was spectacular.

This isn't a fancy shcmancy hotel, but it is very well kept. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly. The hallways were quiet. The location is great and near all the popular restaurants and shops. I will definitely stay again.

The rooms are showing their wear and tear in the corners and other places. Still clean and nice to stay in. Second stay here I got a room by the pool which smelled like sewage and airfreshner so you know house keeping was aware of the issue but staff changed my room quickly. Despite that one room, the other rooms I have stayed at were up to standard.

Very clean cool hotel. Comfortable quiet room with nice shower. Bed was comfy. Big mall and tons of restaurants nearby. Suggest doordashing Weber grill restaurant. Used Hilton points so not really sure of the price but great use of points.

Stay was good (2-25-2022). Super friendly and helpful staff. Beds are okay. Not super comfortable, but will do for an overnight stay. Please don't mind other comments about continental breakfast as you see this person's other reviews are all 1⭐ 😴. Would definitely recommend this place for a stay again.

The rooms were nice. My only complaint was you can hear people outside talking in front of the hotel. They were sitting on chairs in the court yard. I would think the exterior windows would be sound proof for lower floors. Also one of the elevator stopped working so only one elevator. Room had 2 queen bed, microwave, fridge, ironing box, coffee maker. Check-in and checkout was super easy.

Good location was here for a wedding and business. Hotel is clean and quiet a little bit dated . TVs are large which is good, wifi works well and only problem we had were the slippery floors in shower. Be careful. Front desk staff is nice and helpful. Last thing cover on bed a bit heavy.

My mom and I have stayed at this location twice, once in 2019 and again just a few weeks ago. We were attending an event in the area near the airport, but choose to stay a bit further out. For both stays we were able to spend each night sitting out in the lobby with our friends, chatting, enjoying drinks and catching up. We appreciate being able to take advantage of the large quiet sitting area and conference table. The guest rooms are always clean and have high ceilings, and aren’t overstuffed with furniture, but there’s still plenty of room for two of us to spread out. We didn’t have to schedule any housekeeping because we preferred privacy, but were able to acquire any supplies we needed with ease. They also took note of our first floor request and were able to put the same hallway as our friends, a convenience that can’t be overlooked! The desk staff is always so courteous and accommodating. I can’t remember the night manager’s name, but he was helpful and funny when giving us the extra coffee and supplies for the morning, including some extra decaf to “surprise” my mom with :) Overall we always enjoy our stay here at the Hilton Garden Inn in Schaumburg and we plan on returning in 2023 for next year’s event!

Clean and easily accessible. Nice person at the desk. Check in was painless. Some things that underwhelmed me: 1. No hot tub 2. Hotels should start charging people children fees because they can make just as much if not more of a mess than a single middle aged dog. 3. Uncomfortable pillows. 4. They charge for breakfast. What kind of soul-less place is this?

Here on a business trip for one night. Really liked the made-to-order breakfast in the morning (I don't believe the cost is normally included in your stay, however). Otherwise, typical Hilton quality and comfort.

This is a great place to stay. Frankie G. was our server, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taking care of. The food was fantastic.. I ordered the pasta, and it was wonderful. The made to order omlete at breakfast was amazing, including the service. The pool is perfect for little ones, as it is only four feet deep. It was perfect for my seven year old, who is learning how to swim. The only thing missing is a hot tub. However, I was aware of this before booking. Legoland and Woodfield mall are extremely close, complete with plenty of dining choices. We will definitely be back to stay!

The room was okay, if a little smaller than expected. The bathroom humidity vent didn't work, nor did the ice machine that was on our floor. Additionally, one of the elevators was out of service our whole trip. My wife was using the digital key on her phone, which only worked about half the time, and then was very slow to function. Overall, not a bad stay, but several little things made it not as good as it could have been.

Dirty and overpriced. Bathroom has no ventilation system in it and it smelled like urine from the moment we checked in. Room was very poorly cleaned with trash and debris on the floor and miscellaneous body hair wiped to the tub and toilet from previous occupants. I'm actually very surprised that this is a Hilton. You can do better for 200 bucks a night. Pass it up.

I was surprised to learned at check in (11PM)that our reservation had been modied from an adjoining room to two separate ones in different areas and far from each other which did not work for since I had all minor children. The receptionist was very aggressive and continue to try to help me "understand" how the change happened but unwilling to offer solutions. After requesting for a manager five different times I was finally connected to the shift manager who eventually offered two rooms across each other without AC or a suite with one bed and pull out couch which for a family of 7 was really no help. At any point in time an apology was offered. After realizing they couldn't provide a cot or an additional pull out couch I decided to leave. When I asked the other receptionist for a receipt specifying no charges were made to my card, he yelled "you are done here" multiple times. I asked him not to raise his voice and then tried to say how they are short staffed. I can be understanding of that and is still no excuse to be rude and aggressive. This hotel needs to learn how to treat customers right and not blame customers for calling the reservation line and not the hotel directly which by the way is the number listed on their website.

A very disappointing stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Schaumburg. The photos online are so very misleading. The pool is 4ft deep throughout and not very long, approx. 10ft x 8 ft (and they opted not to show the corner of the pool that curves inward, so it's even smaller than that). The lounge area in the front felt so crowded with an abundance of chairs, a small snack bar adjacent to a lounge bar and the front desk tucked away in the back corner. The ice machine on our floor didn't work until the 3rd day. There was a dead insect on it that I saw everyday during my stay. Our bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Mildew. The shower floor had a large gaping crack in it. It was very dusty (shelves and floor). Room cleaning: You have to request your room to be cleaned the day before, claiming it's for your privacy so to not disturb your stay... ISN'T THAT WHAT THE "DO NOT DISTURB SIGN" IS FOR? I scheduled for next-day service and NO ONE CAME! I saw the ladies on our floor. After some time I checked the hallway and they were gone. I called the front desk who said they would have to check and see if the cleaners had left for the day. In the meantime I had to go to the front desk to request new towels, shampoo and soap, k-cups, etc. They didn't have shampoo or soap... Overall, it was a very inconvenient stay. They ask that you practice social distancing but allowed all the guests to go maskless. The hand sanitizer station at the elevators was empty during our entire stay as well.

Just had an excellent stay. Front desk and housekeeping were very friendly. The room was superbly clean. Comfortable bed and great pillows. Nice location. Thank you!

Great service and friendly staff! Food was available after 8 pm and much appreciated as we didn’t arrive until 8:30. Was able to get supper at 9 when most places would have been closed already. Highly recommend this place.

I want to start with check-in. There was an issue that was being charged to my account, but that was due to a late modification in my reservation. Alex was awesome by listening to what I was saying and remedied the situation. Got up to the room and although it was fairly clean, I felt it could have used a dusting over. It was a little dusty on the table and the area of the mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. I don't usually have the in-room coffee and I know why. I decided to run water through the coffee maker at least once to see how clean the water came out. Glad I did because it was brown, like left over coffee water. I ran water through it two more times and finally made myself a cup of coffee. Not exactly sure how I felt about it, but probably won't use the in-room coffee anymore because I believe those machines need a thorough cleaning and wipe down after every stay. We pay for it in the rate for the room, right? Not that that was my biggest issue, but a little upsetting. My son and I both smelled a burning smell at different times of our stay and I went to the front desk to report it. They sent someone up to our room to check out all the outlets and it seemed like everything was okay. Maybe it was the ac unit when I changed the temperature? Late night before check-out, I called the front desk to ask for a late check-out and I believe I spoke with Doug. He was able to help me with that. Alex also happened to help me out at check-out as there was another issue that came about with what was being charged. Other than those things, every staff member I interacted with, they all were very helpful. Great location and so many restaurants and shopping options as this is right by Woodfield Mall.

This was our first trip after 2years and out first time staying at Hilton chain. Needless to say the whole family was excited. Unfortunately it was far from our expectation. And here is why… The moment we walked in, I noticed the worn out couches and two very unapproachable female attendees. Neither of them smiled nor greeted. They looked miserable and seemed like they just wanted to be the furthest away from this place. Every question was answered in a condescending tone. Everyone of us felt like we were imposing on them including the lady who was ahead of us but continued to have trouble checking in. I was traveling with young children and senior parents. We were given two separate rooms, floors apart because “they are fully booked”. I was told the drinks(water/tea) were NOT included in our package. The rooms were spacious, clean and nicely laid with all amenities. While my parents settle down with the kids, I went to grab the rest of the luggage. To my annoyance, I overheard attendees ask another family if they would like to be on the same floor. As a contrary, the cleaning and maintenance staff had better customer service than the front desk staff. They were friendly and approachable. One even cracked a joke. The picture of the pool was deceiving too. It was perfect for one family with young kids and definitely not for adults. It’s shallow and small. Another family joined us while we were there and it felt like we were sharing a bathtub. One of the attendees got into elevator and she continued with her RBF and remained staring at her phone. Later that day, we met another patron who said this was his 5th time moving his luggage as he was told they didn’t have rolling carts. The day ended with the most unrestful sleep. The mattress was hard and very uncomfortable. I wondered if this was how the princess felt sleeping on a pea. Next morning I dreaded check out, but to our relief, we were greeted by a very friendly and warm male front desk staff. On our out, we bumped into another family using a cart to move their luggage. With this experience, we booked with Marriott for our return trip.

This hotel was very nice and the lady at the front desk was also. My issue is that we drove 6 hours to come to a concert that was cancelled on a Thursday and rescheduled for Monday. We literally checked into the room and and checked back out within 5 minutes. They would not work with us to change our reservation to Monday. I understand that they were not at fault for the cancelled concert, but it would have been nice for them to work with us. We had to go home to attend work so we could take more days off to come back Monday. They made $140 off of our misfortune for 5 minutes of opening the door and setting our things down. Talk about greed. I know I would be a more compassionate and forgiving person. We stayed elsewhere after I received not even a response to my message to the hotel. They couldn't be bothered.

Staying as a softball team for tournaments in the area. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. Rooms we’re available and requests for connecting rooms were honored. Front desk manager Alex was so accommodating to allow us to use lobby space for team dinner, Chef Jeff prepared a plate of cookies for our girls while we were hanging out, and Becca was able to arrange our rate to include breakfast. On Sunday morning one of the breakfast servers made mugs of hot chocolate for the girls. The entire staff went above and beyond. We will be staying her when in the Schaumburg area again!

Rooms were very clean, beds very comfortable, awesome nights sleep! Less 1 star because they charged us $8 for 2 pieces of toast and the rest of our party was charged $14 each for scrambled eggs. Very pricey!!
