Saw Mr Allison’s on youtube and been wanting to try their ham….it was delicious and massive portions! Very spacious inside and plenty of parking space outside the restaurant. We forgot the name of our waitress but she was such a sweet lady, made our dine in experience even better. Definitely stop by and try their ham its worth it!

If you love ham you need to eat at Mr Allison’s! The portions are big, but very delicious. The staff is excellent and very friendly.

Gotta ❤️ Breakfast!! Stopped by Mr. Allison's for breakfast. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Food was exceptional. The stuffed waffle was an overdose of sweetness that lasts for the whole day, just awesome!! I had the Garden Skillet, a complete breakfast item and wholesome with grilled veggies and egg. The French toast was good too. A definite must try!! This place has great ham! It's a little sweet, but savory with a nice salty taste. Busy place on the weekend. 15 min wait time on a Saturday at 10:30am. Old style fashion decor. A little cold in here, but boothes are in good shape and they still have a counter to eat at which I love! They are short staffed so ticket time for a group of 3 was 20 min which wasn't too bad. Spanish omelette was nice. Not enough salsa though. Made with a generous 4 eggs. Greek toast is great; a thick piece of bread! Nice service. Bus boy comes around cleaning, but they are busy so they aren't able to stop by more than once. Great place overall!

I went the other day for the guys at work. I called it in about 15 minutes before I got there. I had 7 orders that day. It wasn't ready when I got here but they said 5 minutes and the girl on the phone said 20 minutes anyway. They had everything ready right on time. The waitress asked if I needed all the works forks butter sat and pepper. The food was one of the best breakfast places in the northern suburbs. The Ham is off the bone and really good. Do yourself a favor and get over there and get some of the best food around !!

Soon as you walk in the door, you can smell that something delicious is cooking. Too bad I don't know the name of the plate that smells delicious. So about $30 for two people, got a market omelette & egg benedict (had to try the King-sized ham $6 it's mouthwatering good) with a decaf coffee. Good service the resturant has dividers & hand sanitizer they clean between customers but face mask are not required. It was a bit crowded & with good food that's not a surprise. Come & try it out if you are a hungry person, who is available in the day because they close @ 3 pm.

It is a BIG BREAKFAST. Most all of the egg items are 3 egg, so the omelets are also big. 3 sausage patties, lots of potatoes, & 2 pancakes for less than $10.00. It hit the table fast. Small place, a little run down, in a strip mall on a corner. Went back again and had the HAM with breakfast. This is THE HOUSE OF HAM! (see picture). Still $10.00, even for the ham. That is a single serving of ham, HAVE THE HAM.

Little hidden gem that I pass every day. Came here on a Sunday. It was busy but the wait time wasn't bad. Everything we ordered came out great. Will definitely be back.

We love Mr Allison’s. The food and service are amazing. They have the best ham and cheese omelette I’ve ever had. The pancakes are really great too. We went this morning and it was very busy, however they handled the crowds great and got us out in a hurry

Great greasy spoon in a small outlet mall location. I had the turkey club. The fries are all natural with skin on the back so you can tell they were made fresh. Great price points and fast service. I will definitely be back again. The only thing I didn't like is that I didn't know fries were separate and didn't just come with the meal so I was surprised by my bill. I like that they also have take out ordering.

This is one of the best breakfast restaurants that you can go to. I live 18 miles away so I can’t go too often but my family and I will try as much as possible. You get huge portions for a very very reasonable price. The servers that we’ve had are excellent. If you don’t leave here with a full belly and have leftovers than you haven’t been to Mr. Allison’s. The only negative about it is it needs a little brightening up. That still won’t stop us from going though.

My boyfriend and I came to town for a Jelly Roll concert and was looking for a ma and pop type restaurant to have breakfast when we came across Mr Allison’s. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left was above and beyond exceptional. Everyone was happy with all smiles, you can definitely tell this is a neighborhood dinner where everyone knows your name. The food,, ohhh my gosh was amazing, affordable with huge portion sizes. Definitely recommend coming here and we will continue to come here during our stay as well.

Was recommended this place by my driving instructor at 17. I’m now 21 finally came. I regret not coming here much earlier. It’s small place very functional and old school. Hospitality is on point especially with our server Jennifer ( complete sweetheart) they have small booths tables and a bar to sit at. Old school ticket racks and the cooks are fast. Coffee is delicious with cute mugs. Very cool Route 66 painting on the wall with mirrors. The bathrooms were clean. But most importantly the food was delicious and well done. Best place I’ve been to in years. Thank you to our server Jennifer who was super kind and attentive. Helped me pick out from the menu, to giving me boxes and opening a bag for me and as well as letting my husband take a coffee home. 10/10 recommend this place. It’s a hidden gem.

We adore this place. Friendly and attentive service and the food is always consistently delicious. The main reason we come here is for the ham. It’s the best ham off the bone in Chicagoland! We have dozens of breakfast restaurants within minutes of where we live and we find ourselves making the 25 minute drive to Mr. Allison’s regularly. It’s worth the drive!

I ordered the biscuits and gravy and it was disgusting. Couldn't finish it. Please of sausage links, tasted old. There was a waitress who had the absolute worst attitude. She definitely needs to evaluate if she's in the right line of business. However Katie who actually served us after the shirt brown haired lady made me wanna just walk out was great. Will not return.

ive been comin here since 91 because they made a sausage egg n cheese on french. But lately they've fallen off. Cheese is melted anymore and also they stopped serving the pickle. Coffee was also just meh..but service is good.

I usually don’t like diners but this place was great. I had stuffed waffles and they were delicious. If you order a side of ham, you get enough to feed several people. The skillets are huge. This is a great restaurant. 4 of us are.

Nice little neighborhood breakfast house. I have been bringing a group of fellow retirees here once a month and they are very patient and accommodating. Initially about eight people were attending. Now we're up to 16 to 20 people. They always find room for us!

You get enough food for two meals, at great prices .OMG the ham, melts in your mouth. This is a picture of their ham( they put chunks of ham😋) and cheese omelette with my crispy,( I ordered them that way)potatoes. See what I mean, two meals..ENJOY😊❤️
