Highly recommend this place. The guy working that day was super friendly. Did you know you can get a donut cake? Simply amazing!! Donuts come in 6 pack boxes, and super cute, and great flavors. I had the gluten free blue berry, and honestly I was wondering if I was tricked. Simply the best gluten free donut I’ve ever had. Great staff, great donuts. Highly recommended

A little chaotic, but the donut selection is amazing and there are so many unique options, like the frosted pretzel and cronut (which has layers of cream inside). Blueberry donut was kind of gross and tasted like artificial flavoring but everything else was awesome and I’d totally come back!

If you’re going to go to Stan’s donuts, go to this location. Beautiful inside and out. I would suggest to not get standard donuts. Paying three dollars for a standard donut that you can get at Dunkin for half the price doesn’t make sense. Get the doughboy or the specialty donuts. Those are worth trying for sure. Google maps directions might mess you up getting here. This store is above on Grand Avenue and not on the street below.

Cute decor, and the location was a great option for breakfast because it is conveniently located around the corner from our hotel, but the food itself was nothing to write home about, nor was the service that morning. It was also a little disappointing that the breakfast combos could not be altered in any way; for example, we asked if we could switch up hot coffee for iced coffee; I'd even be okay with a slight upcharge for that swap out, but it wasn't an option at all (we were told that if we did that, it'd be individual pricing for everything in the combo).

My first visit to Chicago was in February, and I stopped by Stan’s for a quick breakfast treat. Throughly enjoyed it! Quick service and delicious. I got a blueberry old fashioned donut and a hot coffee, and I was out the door in about 15 minutes during a very busy time. I still dream of that donut LOL. I would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time I’m in town!

We came here to try Le Stan Croissant donut. I didn’t know there would be cream custard filling inside but I was relieved to find out that it was not too sweet like most desserts are. You could see the croissant layers on the outside as well as near the center of the donut (after eating half of it). I wouldn’t say that the layers are that separated and / or soft like a croissant but I’m glad I got to try it. I would also prefer to have fewer grains of sugar dusted on the donut. Most importantly, it is approved by my French boyfriend who loves eating chicken breasts and zucchini, “*nodding* It’s pretty good!” We also got the Blueberry Cream Cheese Pocket and Chocolate Long John. The filling inside the cream cheese pocket tastes just like the croissant donut and the blueberry jam was very fragrant although a tad sweet for me. The outside is glazed and the overall taste was great. The Chocolate Long John reminded us of an éclair. Like the other donuts we got, the chocolate was not overly sweet and the donuts were so big that they felt like bread. The Stan’s House Blend coffee was standard. My favorite part of this place is the pink storefront!💗

Got the blueberry fritter here and it was as tasty as it looked. The crumble at the bottom of the fritter has the most perfect little crunch and chew. I wouldn't recommend getting the mir version of the croissant donut though because it wasn't quite layered and the cream custard inside had no flavor.

Amazing donuts here!! Love their pink exterior too. Get strawberry filled ones! Those were my favourite!!! I wish I got more than one but will do that next time! Also their carrot cake donut is good too. Warm it up tho!

Visited back-to-back days while visiting Chicago. Service was always fantastic, even early in the morning. Coffee hit the spot and the fresh and delicious.

Coffee was good. Donuts were hit or miss, the glazed one is totally meh but their lemon pistachio was one of the best donuts I’ve ever had! Definitely coming back to try more!

Oh my! The specialty donuts here are tasty (way way better than Dunkin) and beautiful. We had two on the first day of our visit here, and came back the next day for half dozen box to take home and enjoy.

Excellent doughnuts and coffee. Gets pretty busy but staff will come out and take orders in the line if it backs up too much. Not a ton of seating available, be prepared to stand or take your food with you.

Great options available even late in the morning. Plenty of seating inside with fun decor and a bit of an old-time industrial vibe. Helpful staff. Dough was tasty, obviously made by hand and fresh. Cream filling was not overpoweringly sweet, which was a welcome detail. It was a bit difficult to find the right door, since it shares a building with Labriola and their outdoor seating obscures Stan’s windows. Just walk down to the end and it’s there.

Super cute place, right next to an Italian restaurant. You go inside and right away there is gelato and fresh pastries, in the back you can order Italian food from the other restaurant but it’s a really nice space. Chocolate Cookies were absolutely worth it!

After hearing so much about these doughnuts , I had high expectations. Sadly, they were good but not great. Not worth what they are charging. We paid $14 for 6.

Love Stan’s, have been coming to this location for many years. I was super excited to see they brought back my favourite lemon curd filled croissant donut. Also had a blueberry cream cheese pocket, which was delicious too. Service is great at this location. I will be back for another lemon curd donut soon for sure.

Really good speciality donuts here. We got the glazed, blueberry cream cheese, Nutella pocket, carrot, and two cronuts. Don’t get the cronuts they aren’t good vs the cronuts in NY. The other speciality donuts were pretty good with the Nutella one being my favorite. The glazed wasn’t anything special so if you’re not looking for specialty donuts I’d go to doughnut vault or fire cakes instead. Worth trying though

I was looking for coffee, I found Stan's. Walked in with no intention to buy donuts, but the smell and look of the donuts inspired me to leave with a dozen for my family. The service was friendly and helpful. The donuts were over the top decadent, the coffee and Chai was smooth and satisfying. My family loved the Donuts and Chronuts. The only detractor would be price.

donuts and coffee are great but do not ever order a breakfast sandwich from here unless you have 20-30 minutes to spare. without fail every time i have waited a minimum of 20 minutes for someone to warm up a sandwich.

Best iced coffee we found while visiting, also amazing smoothies, and food. Don't forget the donuts to go! The decor and ambiance are sooo cute and vintage. Some of the staff were a bit lacking in personality (Eh-hem Brenda.....) But otherwise definitely recommend you stop in while in town. Once we found it we came back daily for something, and took a dozen home to our family and friends for good measure.

Such a cute spot. They offer so much more than donuts but the donuts are absolutely worth every calorie.

Delicious chocolate chunk cookie! Still nearly raw in the middle, my favorite! The sprinkle donut was good, but not fresh today. The blueberry fritter was burnt on bottom and dry. While these are good donuts, they are not 5 star donuts. I have had better at many other places. Also seems they sit in the case a day or two.

A line out the door when we arrived! Clearly well-loved morning stop. We tried a doughnut, a hash brown, and cold brew with cold foam! All 3 were fantastic! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend giving this a try at least once! You are bound to find something you will like. 😊
