The view of the Chicago skyline at night... that's an easy 5 stars. Bartenders were overwhelmed, and it was hard to hear the tour guide, But, we didn't really want to hear much from her anyway... here's my take: Architecture tours during the day. Night cruise should be music, drinks, jokes, and a little bit of touristy tidbits. Also, one more bartender is necessary. Or, don't offer so many fancy drink choices. It slowed down the lines horribly.

I had a good time overall. I was almost late getting there because I left my print outs at home but the gentleman taking tickets told me that the ones I downloaded to my phone would have been fine, (however its not their standard policy, I guess because they dont scan them) so dont risk being late for your printouts. Heres a few tips: this cruise is VERY kid friendly. It wasnt bad but there were quite a few kids running around and just being kids. Dont waste yoir time on the front of the boat, the best views are up top HANDS DOWN. Be sure to bring a sweater or something because it tends to be alot cooler once youre out in the middle of the lake. There is a bar but the only snacks they have are chips, popcorn, cookies, brownies, and a couple popular candy bars like snickers so be sure to eat first or at least bring some trail mix or something. If you were on the 3D fireworks cruise like me...save the glasses and enjoy the show without em. The music DOES NOT go with the fireworks, in fact we could barely even hear it once the fireworks started. Most of the people in my section were all jamming to the music blarring from the boat next to us. If you sit anywhere there are lights on the boat you will be swarmed by bugs. We were in the very back next to the life vest and it was bug party! Mostly gnats and mosquito hawks so they dont really bother you, but they will fly or be blown in your face so be aware. Maybe some bug spray or a personal bug clip wouldnt hurt. Also if you sit in the back it is very possible people will literally hang over you or hoover behind you trying to take pictures if you are on the end of the back row like us. I personally found it very annoying especially people standing there having a photoshoot. At one point my friend just stood up and movied his chair. Overall it was a good experience but I will be better prepared next time.

This was a beautiful scenic tour of Chicago’s river walk and then out onto to Lake Michigan, we were able to get great views of the navy pier and even go up and down a channel lock. The price was affordable and the drinks were strong. I would do it again.

Took the Chicago Architecture Boat Tour, it was great, it lasted 90 minutes covering all the great architectural buildings Downtown. It was sold out and they had drinks and snacks for sale. There were other river tours sailing at the same time; worth every penny.

90 minute tour with lots of history of the building. I visited on Novemeber so it was a little cold but not bad to be in the upper deck. The guide made it pretty fun. You can get tickets online or at the office.

Had a great time on this shore line Cruise of downtown Chicago. we visited the downtown area multiple times but never have seen the skyline from the water, it was so worth it! Great thing to do on a hot day in downtown Chicago with a reasonable cost.

My family did the Canine Chicago Architecture Cruise. First, Mark was a fantastic tour guide, great stories and interacting with the tour. Second, can’t say enough good things about the experience. My teenagers loved it, but especially my dogs! Great outing, educational without being boring, and a whole lot of fun! Great experience!

I did the Night tour which was amazing, thanks to our Guide (he gave us so many facts and stories about Chicago for almost 2h). You ride on the river and then to the lake Michigan to SEE the shore of Chicago all illuminated - Magic! A must do 😀 I stayed on the deck but you have access to a bar below.

Our guide was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and interesting. It's a wonderful way to see the city. We took the cruise that also goes out to the lake and you get a great view of the city skyline. Definitely recommend it.

The view was amazing, Chicago has such a beautiful sky line similar to that of NYC. The tour guide was educated and they have little snacks to purchase. Only thing is I wish it were longer and took you a little further.

It was a great experience! The deck is very nice and not crowded in the first group so we where happy, the inside has clean bathrooms and a nice bar, the service was great. The whole excursion was beautifully explained by Sara, with many interesting facts about Chicago, out on the lake the views are marvelous, also the Chicago river is really nice. We had a great experience ❤️

I did the fireworks cruise paid about $40 for 2 hr experience with full bar on board we left the dock around 8pm came back around 10pm. Little tip bring bug spray once it gets dark. Definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to see the city from the lake and end it with big fireworks bang!

Recently went on my first boat tour with my sister who was visiting from Florida. Our tour guide Sarah, really made this experience a fun, knowledgeable, exciting tour that I will absolutely do again. We booked the 4:45pm tour, which is an AWESOME time to do it, when returning, you get to see the sun setting along the water and the skyline, absolutely beautiful. I've been wanting to try the architectural tour, but went with Mercury instead, and Sarah's knowledge of all the buildings made us feel like we were on an architectural tour. Two tickets costed $78 and I had a $9 parking sticker pass to the Tides parking garage which is literally two minutes from the River Walk. So for less than $100 we have a memory that will last for both of us, forever. Thank you Sarah and Mercury Skyline. Definitely recommend THIS boat tour.

This was a better than expected tour. Blanca was our guide and she made it really fun. The architecture details were also better than expected. It was cool to actually go through the locks and then head out to the lake. I would highly recommend.

This was a nice way to spend an evening. They take you up and down the canal and out onto the lake on the cruise we went. Our tour guide was funny and knowledgeable. However, the architecture tour was more fun and informative in my opinion as it stays on the river only.

Was a pretty cool cruise, only thing I would change is the woman stated at beginning of it mostly music would be played since it was a fireworks cruise but she talked 90% of the time. Kind of ruining the mood smh. Other words it would have been 5 stars!

Missed it by two minutes :( Customer service at the booth said they didn’t do refunds, but that I could reschedule it. I’ve emailed the company a handful of times in the past month asking if I could reschedule it. Nobody got back to me. And you can’t reach anyone by phone.

I enjoyed this informative cruise and all the details about downtown Chicago that I never knew about. Drinks were available onboard for purchase. There is a top deck and lower enclosed deck. This cruise will go on if it’s raining or not. They have rain ponchos available for purchase as well for $3 onboard. The best part was the amazing fireworks and the view from the top deck. Even though it was raining, it seemed to stop when it was time to see the fireworks display. I really enjoyed myself. One thing I will say is I had the hardest time trying to find this particular boat but I made it with 3 minutes to spare before departure.
